Biche, Santa Rosa in Super League.
T&T Express Reports.

Biche United and FC Santa Rosa have won qualification to the 2012 season of the bmobile National Super League.

Both teams won on the final day of the National Super League Qualifying Tournament and joined already-qualified Siparia Spurs in filling three spots in the second tier of local football.

There were lots of celebrations in Biche on Saturday when their team won promotion to the semi-pro National Super League for the first time after beating North champions Petit Valley United 3-1.

Maurice Billy gave Biche an 11th minute goal before completing a brace in the 66th minute. Between Billy's goals, Erick Charles (49th) netted for Petit Valley, who were the early leaders in the competition before falling away in their final three matches.

Irvin Reyes then sealed the historic qualification for Biche with a 74th minute goal.

Keith Look Loy's FC Santa Rosa claimed third spot in the qualifying series after beating Tobago's St Clair Coaching School without kicking a ball.

The match was awarded to FC Santa Rosa as there was a clash of colours and away team St Clair Coaching School did not present an alternate kit.

And Siparia Spurs won their fourth match of the series after shutting out cellar-placed Harlem Strikers 4-0.

Former Petrotrin and Trinidad and Tobago striker Jerol Forbes opened the scoring for Spurs in the 19th and Nathaniel Garcia (70th), Len Mejias (73rd) and Akeem Wharwood (81st) also contributed goals.
