Yea right, that will never happen.....
I figure, the Concacaf CC is being run in 2012/13 so I started off a thread for all league fixtures and then I will add in the pro league's when I get it.
;)

Now de Pro League knows de Concacaf Champions League fixtures in advance, lets see if they could plan around it and not have a million cancellations like always.
We could never organise anything properly.

Police players Williams, Marshall warded at hospital after vehicular accident
ttproleague.com.
Police FC attacking players Noel Williams and Akeem Marshall are both warded at the Port of Spain General Hospital following a vehicular accident early Saturday morning.
Williams, 28, suffered injuries to his head and right shoulder, while Marshall, 23, sustained a broken left arm and is expected to be discharged by Monday afternoon.
Williams via telephone told ttproleague.com on Monday morning that he is yet to know the full extent of his injuries, but could confirm that his head is wrapped in bandages and that his shoulder needs surgery.
Meantime Marshall’s left arm is said to be broken in three places.
According to Marshall who also spoke via telephone from his hospital bed, the accident happened around 3:30am Saturday near the St. Anthony’s traffic lights along the Western Main Road in Westmoorings, in which a Toyota Prado slammed into the right side of the car, the two Special Reserve Policemen were occupants of.
It is understood that the female driver of the car suffered injuries to her hip and back, while another female seated on the front passenger seat remained unhurt.
The quartet was heading to Chaguaramas for a ‘boat cruise’ lime. Officers of the St. James Police Station are said to be conducting investigations.

I'm now hearing that T&TEC are definately in the League with employees only playing and running the team. I also heard that someone has rescued San Juan Jabloteh and they also should be competing. If Central F.C. are accepted, there will be a 9 team league, which can only be a good thing.
-
The Jabloteh rescue will be great news. But For a so-called professional league to accept T&TEC which only plays employees seems to signal an inherent (conflict of interest). How are they going to be competitive without seeking to buy/trade-for the best team they can field?
I wish T&T Pro League the best.

Apparently, Pro League will kick off on Sept 7th. Don't know if there will be 7, 8 or 9 teams. Should know after Tuesdays board meeting.
-
As I understand it, the first Pro League games are on 14th September.
Central F.C. have been confirmed and their first game is against W.connection, but it's been pushed back to 25th September to accomodate their Concacaf fixture on 18th September. However, W.Connection play another Concacaf game on 26th September, so I would imagine the game vs Central will be postponed again. A cup competition is scheduled for 21st Sept.
I would like to register a complaint against the site mods.....How can I vote for Central? ???

League CEO: Good enough is not good enough.
ttproleague.com.
A strong but valiant message was shared by TT Pro League CEO Dexter Skeene during the launch of the 2012-2013 Digicel Pro League Championship on Thursday afternoon.
“Good enough is not good enough,” expressed Skeene during his opening speech at the Hasely Crawford Stadium VIP Lounge.
“Our coaches and players must climb out of their individual and collective comfort zones. If we believe we are good enough, we have to redefine that perspective.
The club owners and management staff, the Board of Directors, the administrative staff, match commissioners, referees and last but not least, my good self. We must all reengineer our thoughts and attitudes.
It may be a trite cliché but it remains relevant; if it is to be, it is up to us.”
The 2012-2013 League Championship kicks off on Friday 14 September with a double header at the Hasely Crawford Stadium when St. Ann’s Rangers takes on 2010-2011 winner Defence Force from 6pm and two hours later (8pm), Caribbean Football Union Club Championship winner, Caledonia AIA will take on North East Stars.
On Saturday Round One Match Day One continues with Police FC against last season’s electrifying debutant and runner-up, T&TEC FC, from 5pm.
Meantime Central FC’s opening championship fixture against defending champion, W Connection, is set for Tuesday 2 October due to the Couva based club’s CONCACAF Champions’ League commitment.
“In striving to improve significantly we must embrace change and new ideas,” continued Skeene. “It is no longer about an insular look at things but each and every day we must demand of ourselves answers to the fundamental question: That is, are we doing enough to ensure that the TT Pro League is an exciting, high quality experience for our fans and those who we want to encourage to attend games?
What I am saying is that this season we have to accept full responsibility for improving every aspect of what we do and offer to T&T.”
The former T&T striker said that this is the season when every stake holder in the TT Pro League must respond to every single challenge with clear minded determination. He echoed, “Hard work beats talent that will not work hard all the time.”
Digicel (Trinidad and Tobago)Sponsorship and Promotions Manager, Wendy Alleyne spoke on behalf of the League title sponsor saying, “Digicel is proud to continue its partnership with the TT Pro League , an organization which has clearly demonstrated its commitment to elevating and advancing the sport of football while providing opportunities for local players to develop themselves and talents on a national level.
The Digicel Pro League as now gained the reputation as the place where the nation’s best compete and this year is no exception. We take this opportunity to commend the league and its officials for their efforts and look forward to a thrilling, exciting talent-filled 2012-2013 season.”
Skeene praised the mobile network company for its ongoing commitment saying, “In 2009, our partner and title sponsor, Digicel joined the quest to develop, grow and nurture a sustainable professional football league. Their support, guidance and sharing of ideas have proven that Digicel understands the difference between sponsorship and partnership. They understand mutual respect for brand values and brand equity.”
Digicel also made a play further up field by unveiling artwork for an official Cooler Fridays’ mascot.
Alleyne said, “While the focus is undoubtedly on the field, we also believe that there is an entertainment aspect that we are aiming to build on. With this in mind we will be further supporting the (Super) Fridays and (Fiesta) Saturdays that were launched last season. We will not have an official Cooler Fridays mascot who will be the guru of the Digicel Pro League—always equipped with trivia on players, teams and of course Digicel paraphernalia.”
The League also took the opportunity on Thursday to recognize past T&T Men’s Senior Team captains Everald ‘Gally’ Cummings, Selris Figaro, Angus Eve and Clayton Morris by presenting the former players with a League Season Pass each.

A long way to go.

Local football fans have long yearned to hear the National Anthem at a prestigious event watched by the world and have instead been confronted with the bitter disappointment of the national football team losing in the early rounds of FIFA World Cup qualification. The disappointment quickly turns to chagrin and frustration, leaving many to debate what we are doing wrong to hamper our development.
In the last few years we have seen the emergence of ‘big money’ tournaments such as the currently ongoing LIME Pelican Football Challenge and the upcoming annual David Thompson Classic, where both the prize money and public enthusiasm is high. But the question remains, do these ‘off-season’ tournaments and the league in its current state really contribute to the development of the local sport? Can we envision that a few years from now, there will be continued heightened interest in the local game, the emergence and harnessing of young talent and the keen challenge for various regional, CONCACAF and the ultimate, the World Cup? Most successful football associations and leagues around the world have deep-seated history and unwavering support for the local club, which began with facility and stadia implementation, followed by heavy investment in developmental programmes and stadia and intelligent marketing campaigns to endear the world to their brand of football.
Minister of Sports Youth and Culture, Stephen Lashley, recently lauded the LIME Pelican challenge as an opportunity for Barbados to showcase its footballing excellence. He added that it is the Government’s aim for such popular sports to increase their profiles by combining sports and culture to create a product to attract a regional and global audience.
Realistically, in order to do that, the quality on the pitch has to be there and many will argue that we have a long way to go. He seems to be suggesting that the standard will improve as our best annually pit themselves against each other with the added incentive of a significant prize. Hearing from football enthusiasts, it is clear some do not share this view, preferring to point in the direction of our close southern neighbours, Trinidad & Tobago, who have managed to be extremely successful with World Cup qualification in 2006, and the stellar individual careers from the likes of Dwight Yorke, Kenwyne Jones, Russell Latapy, Stern John and others. Barbados, on the other hand, has come nowhere close to this level of reward.
Having been the first Caribbean nation to have a professional football league, Trinidad and Tobago had significant success with their programme, a system where their school, semi-professional and professional leagues are very popular and well run.
Their TT Pro League was founded in 2002 to strengthen the twin republic’s national team and improve the development of domestic players and just three years later, the national team qualified for the FIFA World Cup – most likely not a coincidence. Pro League clubs, working by a business model that features front and backroom staff and inclusive of well-trained coaches, are able to effectively establish themselves on the talents of homegrown players, with many of its stars departing for more prominent leagues in Europe and North America. The key, is that each club is required to have a home stadium, which is properly set up to allow for the collection of gate receipts and the essential well-maintained, international standard playing field. These details are important because a lot of that groundwork resulted in that country’s spot in the World Cup Finals in Germany.
Back at home, these two competitions will be of simultaneous supreme focus in the coming weeks, but while they do much to raise the domestic sport’s profile – and that is a very good thing to have happen – they must be accompanied with a year-round programme that encompasses the grassroots level to the top tier of Barbadian talent so that we can one day relish the sight of our Bajan boys and girls walking out onto a World Cup pitch.

Caledonia beat Police 5-1 tonight at Hasely Crawford Stadium. Thats 11 goals in 2 games for the Morvant based team and leaves them clear at the top of the Pro League. However, the victory was somewhat tamed by the poor attendance at this double header, with no more than 300 souls to witness this demonstration of goalscoring ability.
In the second game, a rather poor Defence Force still managed to put 3 goals past a Central F.C. team who failed to turn up. This was the second 3-0 defeat of the Sharks by the Army team in two meetings and questions need to be asked of the California based club. However, as in the first meeting of the two teams, the result rather flatters the victors as this could easily have been a different outcome had Central arrived with their shooting boots. U.S. import, Ladule Lako Losarah gave a tireless performance up front and could have leveled the scores when his shot from distance hit the bar.
Unfortunately for the Sharks, soon after, a needless quick free kick by Keron Cummings resulted in the Defence Force second goal. The army team always create chances and although their conversion rate is not good, on this occasion because Sharks keeper, Marvin Phillip gave a superb performance, even so they always seem to score enough. Meanwhile, Central need some self examination to determine just how they can swing the axis from conceding to scoring.

tenacity up front...........the american really played but it seemed that not all players were playing all the time

Why the negativity, Coops? You really telling me we should leave football as it is? Referees not being booked, no ball boys at games, players with no knowledge of hydration and nutrition, professionals playing small goal the day before a league game, empty stands?
I have no objection to constructive criticism, as I know we could do more, but destructive criticism like yours achieves nothing. Come nah bro, try to bring change not bitchiness. :yellowcard:

Well well well, I have a follower..
And here the sad thing, Mr Harrison said he sign the Joe Public players to sit on the bench yet they playing in every game for Central FC and if my memory serves me well, Tinto even scored a double for them last game. What a bunch of lies, here him come now and say Rix develop them. Glad to see Marvin Phillip and Goodridge is having good games for them to, another starter and key players.
Sad that is foolish Englishman could come here and talk non sense and yet have a bunch of followers, a bunch of crap to distrack the real point.

Jack will rise again !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually, you are correct, I misled you. Tinto and Phillip didn't start on the bench, they started in the stands. Now they are back to the top form they had back in the day. Guess the coach was just lucky, eh?

Anyone knows yesterday's results ?
FRIDAY
14-12-2012, 6:00pm, St. Ann’s Rangers v Police FC, Hasely Crawford Stadium
14-12-2012, 8:00pm, Caledonia AIA v Central FC, Hasely Crawford Stadium
Fixtures were rearranged on Monday.
Central F.C. were due to play a home match vs North East Stars at Manny Ramjohn on Friday. WConnection were home to Police at same venue.
Caledonia were carded for Hasely Crawford vs St Anns Rangers and second match was due to be Army vs T&TEC on Saturday 15th
However, Central F.C. appealed against the fixture being designated as their home match with less than a week to promote it, so it was postponed.
Also, Caledonia requested a postponement due to 5 players away with national team.
W.Connection drew 1-1 with Police. As far as I'm aware, todays match will go ahead.
Next weekends fixtures are:
FRIDAY
21-12-2012, 6:00pm, Caledonia AIA v Central FC, Hasely Crawford Stadium
8:00pm, Defence Force vs W.Connection Hasely Crawford Stadium
Saturday
22-12-2012, 5:00pm, Police F.C. v St. Ann’s Rangers, Manny Ramjohn Stadium

Correct (comment in bold, that is), for the first time. Sometimes I wonder if "leader" and "follower" is ...... from the same ..... family.

The TT Pro League is the worst organization I know, they beat back the TTFF by miles.
Nothing wrong if they want to change schedules, but inform the people ands when no one comes to games they wonder why.
I understand your concerns. While I would never speak on the Pro Leagues behalf, I would point out that the stadiums are not under the control of the Pro League and bookings are subject to cancellation. There has been problems with the lights at Larry Gomes, which were not fixed sooner as the stadium is due to be refurbished, which may now be taking place.
As I understand it, the league want as many double headers as possible to try to offer better value for money to supporters, as well as hoping that four sets of fans would create a good atmosphere. Therefore, they try to place home fixtures as conveniently as possible.
Central F.C., while understanding of the leagues fixture intentions, felt it unfair to switch an away game to a home game at such short notice. The club are building from a fan base of zero. We played home games at Larry Gomes and Manny Ramjohn and only one at Ato Boldon. With only four remaining home games, the club believes they have to capitalise on these games to prepare for next season.
By the time the situation was resolved, Caledonia had also requested a postponement. They would not have been aware until late Tuesday night if their players were returning home.
I cannot comment on why these changes were not publicised. As Central F.C. had never promoted the rearranged game, no Central F.C. marketing or publicity had taken place aside from a few comments last week concerning the scheduled upcoming fixture vs Caledonia.
On behalf of Central F.C., I apologise for any misunderstanding or inconvenience caused by this fixture rescheduling.

FS, this has nothing to do with Central FC...
This has been going on for years, the rescheduling of matches without proper notification to the fans and to press has always been an issue.
The rescheduling also aftects the players and their game, it could surely kill the flow of a team.

Caledonia, Connection stalemate plays into Army favour.
ttproleague.com.
Caledonia AIA and defending Digicel Pro League Champions DIRECTV W Connection attempt to close the gap on leaders Defence Force ricocheted in favour of the soldiers.
A 0-0 result between second positioned Caledonia and third positioned Connection at the Hasely Crawford Stadium in the second match of a Round Two Match Day Two double header saw both teams slip although having a game each in hand.
Defence Force which edged North East Stars 1-0 in the first match of the night for its sixth consecutive League win, enjoys 22 points from 9 matches. While Caledonia sits behind with 17 points and Connection with 13 from 8 games each.
With the standings unchanged, North East Stars remained fourth with 10 points from 8 matches and Police FC fifth with 9 points after nine matches.
Connection striker Jerrel Britto had an opening in the 10th minute from inside the area but his connection to a Kern Cupid cross from the right, guided the ball wide.
Connection which suffered 1-0 defeat against Caledonia in the semi-final round of the First Citizens Cup and were held 1-1 in Round One of the League, had another effort in the 18th minute.

Jorsling strike keeps Army with momentum.
ttproleague.com.
An 82nd minute item by Defence Force forward Devorn Jorsling on Friday night kept winning at the top of the Digicel Pro League Championship.
After being marshaled by goalkeeper Cleon John throughout the match, Jorsling broke the deadlock with eight minutes on the board for a 1-0 win over North East Stars.
It was Defence Force's sixth straight win of the Championship and North East Stars second straight defeat.
The Ross Russell-coached soldiers now enjoy 22 points at the top, six points clear of second positioned Caledonia AIA (16 points) who takes on third positioned W Connection (12 points) in the second match of the Round Two Match Day Two double header at the Hasely Crawford Stadium.
Meantime the Stars are fourth on the standings with 10 points.
The Angus Eve coached-Stars were on the defense in the 17th minute but earned applause when John made successive saves by blocking out a strike by Jorsling and recovered brilliantly to deny the Defence Force forward again.

Fenwick wokkin'! Well done CFC! FS u probably lashing some pints hard tonight. ;D
LOL. Nah, not time to celebrate yet, still a lot to get right. It's more a sense of relief at the moment! To be fair we are dominating large periods of matches but not converting enough chances. We should have been 3-0 at half time!
In fact, that was the first goal we've scored in the first half all season!!
But Byers is looking a lot sharper and we have a stronger squad now. Oliver is so influential and Fojo starting to make an impact. Macano is very dangerous. Looking forward to seeing Winchester back to fitness.

For long periods it looked like Police would regain the lead, but in the end Cali's better finishing saw through
Defence Force 1 - 1 Central F.C.
Carter (10) Mitchell (5)
Wow! good game and a superb individual goal from the youngster Mitchell. Marvin Phillip gave a masterful performance and dealt with everything (except the goal!). This was probably Army's hardest game this season and were saved by the woodwork, some fortuitous clearances and a bit of luck. Should have been 3 points to Central, but I guess a point each was fair enough.

Why Mulraine was de coach vs Army, allyuh fire Fenwick already ?
Allyuh is de local Chelsea or wha..
Nice result by de way, I cant stand Army, Cali and NE Stars because of Eve, Shabazz and Ross Russell, so ah hope W Connection take de title.
Not sure if Central could win de league even if they win all they remaining games ??
I would love them to, but yuh never know.
Fenwick is a defense minded coach, so Central may not win plenty games, so expect a lot of draws.
He like the 4-5-1 formation.

LOL Brent Sanchovitch doesn't quite sound right!!
Terry is overseas and as the weekends games had been cancelled because Ato was the only working stadium and they have a 6 day rule for internationals, he wasn't intending on coming back until this week. Then on Weds evening we learned that the games were now being played!
I don't think we will catch Army, but we will certainly chase Cali for 2nd spot. Our problem has been dropping 7 points against the teams below us. What Terry has done, as you point out, is tighten our defence. But also, with the likes of Byers, Marcano, Sam, Mitchell and Peltier we also have lots of exciting attacking options.

I can't seem to find a schedule for TTPL in March. Is the league done by then ? Are there any top level games/practices happening around the 1st 2 weeks that I can attend/observe ?

Central F.C. 3 -2 Caledonia
Not sure of Cali scorers, but Byers, Oliver and Winchester scored for Central. Sharks always in front - 1-0, 2-1, 3-2.
Incident at the end marred the game when a Cali player pushed Adrian Noel and he reacted with a punch. Few handbags, but the ref sent them both off, which was the right decision. But then a dozen or so Cali supporters rushed down to the tunnel to confront Noel. No security at hand to stop them and it could have turned nasty.
Game was hard fought, but fair. Sets up the F.A. Trophy Final nicely.
Central F.C.'s biggest result. Next game vs W.Conn on Wednesday night....another 6 pointer!!
-
St Ann's Rangers 2 - 4 Caledonia
Cali also beat Rangers on Weds 3-2 in a rearranged game.
North East Stars 1 - 2 Central F.C.
Glen 25' Oliver 35' Marcano 37'
Cornell Glen scored a superb goal to put North East in front. Central never really got going and were a shadow of the team that gave their best first half performance of the season against Connection on Weds. However, The Sharks scored two nice goals in as many minutes to end the half in front. 2nd half was all one way traffic by North East, but Central clung to their slender lead. A superb performance by the young left back Jameel Neptune ( I think he's only 17) and 20 year old Omar Charles and Stefan Fabien were solid. Meanwhile, you have to wonder how 37 year old duo, Carey Harris and Marvin Oliver can keep up the intensity through 90 minutes!
Should set up a nice F.A. Trophy Final between Central and Caledonia on Friday, 8pm at Ato Boldon. :nailbiting:

Is there some technicality in this... or were you just joking...

Actually this was just asked in the guardian.co.uk The Knowledge last month.
The confirmed list is Ludovic Giuly, Sérgio Conceição, Pele and Dwight Yorke (list may not be exhaustive)
Look the relevant passage
Home sweet home
"Ludovic Giuly is moving back to play for his village team after this season, which means he will be playing on Stade Ludovic Giuly," wrote Rasmus Hansen last week. "Has anyone else played in a stadium named after themselves?"
Indeed they have. The Knowledge inbox has been bulging with myriad (well, three) examples from arounf the world:
"Sérgio Conceição did, at least for his farewell which took place in Sérgio Conceição Stadium in Taveiro, Coimbra," reports João Nunes
"The city of Maceió, in the northeast of Brazil, is home to the Estádio Rei Pelé," writes Paulo Padilha. "It was inaugurated on 25 October 1970 with a friendly featuring a team of players from the state of Alagoas versus Santos. Naturally, Pelé himself played in that match."
"Dwight Yorke has played a few times at the Dwight Yorke Stadium in Bacolet, Tobago," writes FF of Soca Warriors Online. "This includes at least two appearances for the national team of Trinidad and Tobago against Northern Ireland and Costa Rica. Unfortunately playing in front of his home crowd in the stadium named in his honour, did not inspire victory in both instances."

North East Stars 0 - 0 Central F.C.
Very combative game. Many yellow cards. Stars took a red card early in 2nd half.
I think it's fair to say that Central had more possession and opportunities and that the Sharks didn't win 1 point, they lost 2. In fact it was almost a totally reversed performance by both teams from their last meeting when North East applied most of the pressure.
Although Central missed many chances, Cornell Glen was again outstanding and the most dangerous player on the pitch. He really must be in the forthcoming T&T squad. At times, it was taking 3 defenders to control him and even then he was getting through. He won a penalty in those circumstances, but Marvin Phillip, who was back to his best, saved the penalty well.
All in all, hats off to North East for some resilient defending, while Central continue to count their missed chances and rue the lost points.

Anybody know the scores from yesterday's games ?

08:03:13, 6:00pm, Central FC 4 v Police FC 2, Marvin Lee Stadium
08:03:13, 8:00pm, Defence Force 0 v North East Stars 1, Marvin Lee Stadium
08:03:13, 6:00pm, T&TEC 2 v St. Ann’s Rangers 0, Ato Boldon Stadium
08:03:13, 8:00pm, Caledonia AIA 1 v W Connection 0, Ato Boldon Stadium
-
Caledonia 1 - 3 North East Stars
Joseph 12" (Pen) Glen 55" 60" (pen) Glasgow 80"
W.Connection 2 - 2 Central F.C.
Pacheco 4" Jones 34" Joseph 30" (o.g) Byers 45"
W.Conn started off very sharp and scored while the Sharks defence were still in the dressing room. Gradually Central got more into the game and applied pressure. Then, the freakiest "goal" of the season. Ball came off Joseph and the W.Conn keeper stretched to clear the ball. Byers claimed the ball was over the line. Everybody else in the stadium thought he was crazy....except the ref. The ref consulted the assistant (who was 10 yards behind play and therefore viewing from an angle) and incredibly, a goal was awarded. Even the Central players looked bemused and unsure.
Anyway, the bizarre goal actually had the effect of knocking Central out of their stride and firing up W.Conn, who quickly regained the lead. Then Central woke up and the following 55 minutes was mainly Central pressure. Byers scored a great team goal to equalise just before half time.
Second half was mainly pressure from Central with W.Conn reduced to long shots and corners. Central scored but it was given offside (probably the right call) and I think they also hit the woodwork. Some good goalkeeping and last minute defending resulted in a 2-2 draw. Again, Daneil Cyrus was immense, and the call up boy, Darren "Chucky" Mitchell had a good game, with Marcano giving his usual solid performance.
Interestingly, Marvin Oliver was ineligible for this game and Fenwick played Tinto (easily the shortest player on the pitch) at defensive midfield, and he did surprisingly well and gave the Sharks a real advantage playing out of defence.

Caledonia 3 - 1 T&TEC
St Anns Rangers 1 - 1 Central F.C.
Central F.C. started with a very attacking line up and had two chances in first minute. Basically, it was one way traffic, with the Sharks having the majority of possession and putting together some good passing movements. Rangers were playing a counter attack system with 5 across the middle, condensing the play. Jan Michael Williams saved Rangers on several occasions, two of which, in my opinion, any other keeper in the league would have conceded.
Rangers were confined to the occasional break away when the pretty solid Central defence were caught too far forward, but mostly Rangers relied on long shots most of which, literally, went out of the stadium.
Eventually, after half a dozen good chances, a nice move saw Trim get behind the Rangers defence and slot home. Then a very loud shout for a Central penalty was denied. I didn't get a good look, but you can usually tell from players reaction if it was just, and this did appear to be a hand ball.
Second half, more of the same. But as a football supporter, a 1-0 scoreline when you're dominating a game is a bit scary, and so said, so done, Rangers scored a beautiful equaliser from distance out on the left. This gave Rangers a bit of a lift, but they really didn't stop the onslaught by Central, which again saw many close calls. There was some poor finishing, some poor crossing, but mainly that man Williams was the problem. Britto hit the bar and Marcano had an effort that spun off Williams hand towards the corner in slow motion only to kiss the outside of the post for a corner.
Definitely two very important points dropped by Central, but it was really good to see Jan -Michael out there, and he has to be part of the Gold Cup squad.

Yeah, Cali won 4-1. Didn't see the last goal.
But I ain't the official Pro League rep yuh know. When I at football, I'm usually kinda busy and don't get to sit undisturbed with a stopwatch and notepad! So, I apologise for my shitty reports, but its gotta be better than nothing, right?

You have to sell your club bro, you cant depend on de league to do that.
Still love Central though, but step it up.
You got us to like Central, doh f it up now.
Ah tell yuh Fenwick is de king of draws. He does play it safe, but need to go for de kill sometimes especially against shit teams like Rangers.

I hear you Sam. Just sometimes it feels like I'm the only one! And yesterday, Sancho and I were at Presentation Chaguanas at 7.30 a.m. setting up the coaching school. So by 11 p.m., I was kinda knackered!
Regarding the game, yeah, Terry would rather draw than lose, but last night we threw everything at Rangers and a combination of good goalkeeping, hard luck and poor finishing meant we couldn't score second goal. We started with two centre forwards, Byers and Trim with Tinto in the middle behind them. We had Marcano and Mitchell as A.M.s. We used three subs:- Rennee Britto, Johan Peltier and Hector Sam, so, in this instance, we were going for the win!!

Went to the game yesterday.
A lot of cards pass in the Army vs Central game. Central lost their keeper to and lost their game, I think 3-0.
Army just gets through the league with fitness and muscle. The team is technically a waste and the coaching is terrible. They play a very poor brand of football with no ideas on anything and I have been watching them a while now.
Army looks like a poor T&T national team who just eliminate their midfield and just kick the ball up the field with no idea what so ever.
Seems W Connection can only beat T&TEC this season ( ;D ) , they won 4-0.

Central basically self destructed. Army may not be Barcelona-esque but they are consistent, more like Keegan-esque. What you see is what you get and their game plan is to score more than the other team, so it doesn't matter if you concede 3, you just need to score 4. I was standing with Jan-Michael Williams for the first 15 minutes and he was commenting on how good Centrals passing and possession was, both last night and against St Anns on Tuesday. At that point, Mr Snell and Mr Hitchcock, the Pro League's seminar presenters must have thought the League leaders were playing in red, such was the game mastery of Central. But, as has been the pattern, The Sharks failed to find the net.
To me, the biggest turning point was the Army sending off. This forced a more defensive formation from Army, which seemed to puzzle Central. From that point, Central were allowed loads of possession in front of a 9 man defensive wall. As against the Rangers defensive formation on Tuesday, most of Central's passing went backwards and they seemed unable to get down the flanks, run into channels or draw the defenders out to create gaps behind. No Central midfielder wanted to gamble by making a run, so for the Army back four, it was virtually a day off. The Army midfield worked very hard to thwart the Sharks midfield and, of course, the Army are masters at counter attack.
So it went. Pressure in the Sharks 18 yard box forced a mistake when Harris and Charles fluffed around instead of clearing the ball and Jorsling penalised them. Then, after Charles was punished by being substituted, new defender Weslie John, was duped into a foul in the box by Jorsling.
Central's frustrations continued with very few penetrations into the Army last third while retaining most of the possession. The third goal was a joke, as Goodridge's sliced clearance twenty feet into the air was collected by Phillip and Ref Brizan judged this a pass back and awarded a free kick to Army. There was a lot of dispute from Phillip, but the Army got their kick around 15 yards from goal and the ball was slammed home. Phillip, already frustrated, presumably produced one cuss too many and Brizan showed red.
With all subs used, Byers, who began life as a keeper, went in goal.
All in all, a job well done by Army, but Central have to recognise that they were architects of their own downfall, which effectively killed any chance of a third place finish.

Marvin was always a bad boy when it comes to dealing with Refs....
I remember in 2004, Marvin Phillip (Starworld Strikers) was fined $2,000 and banned from playing football for 20 months. It was reported that Phillip allegedly spat on referee Ramesh Ramdhan and the referee allegedly retaliated by striking the player.

"Crown Trace recreational ground".
When you leave Price Plaza, right is towards highway, but go straight on. About two miles along that road is an S bend with a turning on the left - Egypt Trace. Go down there and when you reach a T junction, turn right. Follow the road to the ground. If you find yourself on the Southern Main Rd, or Enterprise, you've gone too far, so you'll need to turn back. (You would need to ask for directions as some of the way back is one way)

look Gillingham giving country directions yes...yea man FS...tnt to de bone
