PARIS -- Seven-time Formula One champion Michael Schumacher was in critical condition after undergoing brain surgery following a skiing accident in the French Alps on Sunday, doctors said.

Never really followed this sport until this year due to all the drama with Hamilton and Verstappen. I guess that was their way to get people like me tuned in. Anyway, yesterday's final race came down to the end with Verstappen just getting the better of Hamilton before the checkered flag. It wasn't without controversy with Hamilton's team filing a protest. Formula one really got the the Hollywood ending with the underdog winning in the end.
