Post by: vb on June 26, 2014, 06:39:26 PM
What WI wicketkeeper scored a century in each of his first two series but was dropped with an average of well over 35.

That's right.
he was dropped in preference for another Keeper and never played Test cricket again.

Me eh know who is that. The closest one I see is Clairmonte Depeiaza, who only played in two series and scored a century in the first one.

The only West Indian wicketkeepers I’m aware of in my era who have scored Test hundreds are Jeffrey Dujon, Junior Murray, Ridley Jacobs, and Denesh Ramdin. But none of dem match de criteria you outlined.

Looks like I owe every one an apology.

I was under the impression the answer was Basil shotgun Williams.

I could've sworn my Uncle told me he had kept wkt for the WI in the 70s and many thought he would replace Murray. Looks I was wrong.

Sorry.  :yellowcard: ;D
