Title: 2014/15 Fantasy Premier League.
Post by: Flex on August 09, 2014, 05:52:44 AM
Not sure if Andre Samuel is doing the 2014/15 fantasy premier league anymore, we are a week way from kick off. Clearly, he not here any more.

In the meantime, I have gone ahead and created a new one.

Code to join this league: 662601-322832

I think you automatically continue in your fantasy League from season to season.  I'm still in the League for the upcoming season.

Sorry for the late post peeps.....

I've reactivated the league in Fantasy Premier League called Andre Samuel League.

Joining the league couldn't be easier. Simply use this link and you'll be added automatically after you've entered the game:
http://fantasy.premierleague.com/my-leagues/23791/join/?autojoin-code=75040-23791.

You shouldn't need the league code, but just in case here it is: 75040-23791.

All previous players were automatically re entered upon activating their account.

Enjoy the game!
Andre Samuel

Ah love it!!

Nb: Mods, please feel free to move where necessary

So Costa get 4 points for his goal, but Schurle get 5? Diego get a total of 6 points and play all game yet Schurrle get 8 and played 77 minutes. I see they give Sterling and Sturridge ah set of points to.

Scoring
During the season, your fantasy football players will be allocated points based on their performance in the Barclays Premier League.

Action   Points
For playing up to 60 minutes   1
For playing 60 minutes or more   2
For each goal scored by a goalkeeper or defender   6
For each goal scored by a midfielder   5
For each goal scored by a forward   4

For each goal assist   3
For a clean sheet by a goalkeeper or defender   4
For a clean sheet by a midfielder   1
For every 3 shot saves by a goalkeeper   1
For each penalty save   5
For each penalty miss   -2
Bonus points for the best players in a match   1-3
For every 2 goals conceded by a goalkeeper or defender   -1
For each yellow card   -1
For each red card   -3
For each own goal   -2

Goalies should get 8 or 10 for scoring. That 6 pts is BS.

Goalies should get 8-10 for scoring?  :rotfl:

Why you so aggrieved? Mayyybe you give them more but how many times does this happen, that it would materially make any difference in the league?

Well obviously it should be more than what defenders get, that inconsistency can be easily dealt with.
And since it not gonna make a difference then throw in some extra points to celebrate the rare event.

Don't worry, you'll never do as bad as me at this stuff :p Conversely, I'm doing a Football League (Champs down to League 2) fantasy football with the people who make Football Manager and currently sit first thanks in large part to picking Kenwyne :p

Just broke into the top 2 million, half way through the season. Made 2  good trades today for Saturday and Sundays games.
I think I can get 100+ game week points over the weekend. If it works out, I believe i'll be closer to breaking into the top million overall rank.

Points/Rankings
Overall Points: 862
Overall Rank: 1,973,210
Total Players: 3,625,944
Gameweek Points: 57
