Watched the game from the 65th minute after Murcielagos had a player sent off in the 37th. By that time Winchester who was playing up front had been substituted and I didn't get to see him play. The game was being fought in the midfield and the keepers got little to. However Marshall had a solid, commanding performance and Williams was more than a handful on the left of midfield for the defender that was marking him, he seems to be a good dribbler who's brimming with confidence.

Scoreless draw. Good to see all three in the starting line-up.

Outstanding game for Marshall. Some good things from Jomal as well. Winchester had 3 chances but didn't finish them but still kudos for being dangerous.

For reference Juarez has the highest market value in Ascenso. That is higher than Dynamo, Quakes, Chicago and Kansas City and same ballpark of Dallas.

Still had a lot of work to do after taking it off his chest and not running into an offside position. Plus the keeper made him have to take a second shot and two defenders to deal with even after beating the keeper.

:applause: :applause: :applause:

Big up to Yohance too. :beermug:

Jomal Williams putting on a lil show. Almost scored a a long range curler. Real confident on the ball. Is he on the national squad?

If we take into consideration his playing position, form, availability and Molino's imminent ommission, then he should be the obvious choice at #10 vs Costa Rica and Honduras.

When I first watch him and saw the body shakes and the way he controlling the ball and passing with confidence, I say this man must be from Colombia, Hondo or CR. Then I see Williams on the back of his shirt, I say, he must be from Central America. Then he made a move down the left side, cut in and hit a long range curling looper that had the keeper diving to push outside. Mind you, I can't  remember seeing him play before. If I have, He probably did not do anything to catch this much of attention. Then I heard the commentator saying, Jomal Williams. Then I say, but we have a Jomal Williams. Fellahs, good player. I was saying we don't have a man who could control the ball in the middle when we have it. I feel he might just be the guy to play that roll. From the little I have seen, I am cautiously impressed with this guy. With good handling he could be our Aguero or our Navas. Keep a level head youth man, and you will be playing in the Liga Mex. with Cruz Azul, America or Pachuca, who knows. Coach Hart, if you reading my post. Pick Jomal on your final 21.

He has been knocking on the National Team door for a while. A few friendlies and a few substitute appearances but ah feel now is he time to shine. He put himself out dey and IMO he deserve to start vs Costa Rica. Kerron Cummings got his chance and make use of it, now is Jomal time. Ironically it was Molino's injury absence that Kerron took advantage of, this time it's impending omission.

Fully agree. He has been very good all season. He is the player T&T is missing in the midfield. Doesn't necessarily have to play winger. He is actually more of a Pogba style player.

Well, Thomo, if Hart do give him a pick,  I do hope he lives up to expectation. It will be a pleasant surprise.

Jomal Williams has been a very good prospect for a while now - remember making a note of him several years ago. It's good that he's able to get the experience of another nation and better exposure.

J Williams is not a #10 he is a left winger he may also be used as a right winger but not a #10.

U don't need a genuine 10 just someone that can be disruptive defenses in the middle in lieu of a genuine 10...... hart could opt for 2 wingers in the "half space" and play one holding mid, it risky but we have wingers to bun right now and we look at sea without a genuine "creator", controlled pace and athleticism in d front 4 could be a useful patch. 4-1-4-1

Just because a player could beat 2 to 3 men that doesn't make him a #10.

If you put a player like that in the middle of the field teams will just bottle him up and make him give up the ball with a direct path to goal its better you use him on the wings were its less costly.

its not just about running with the ball the goal is to create outlets by having the front 4 exchange passes to create space that coupled with KJ strong hold up flick on passing can work well again in instances where we don't have a recognized creator in the team......which it was fairly obvious was missing, Hyland has his qualities and played the fairly well against Guat away but he simply can't be relied upon to fill that role against better defenses......again what I am proposing is radical "by our standards" and risky no f**k....but we looked at sea without someone dynamic in the middle, at this stage going for speed and short passing in the absence of No.10 creativity is worth the risk IMO. again ah patch

So exactly what is he missing to play? The strategy should be to put all your best players on the field in the Hex, one way or another. He is definitely one of the best.

You are living in a dream world there are players that can play the #10 role but the coach is not using them because he uses a English style of football.

Ffsback has a point about a great dribblers don't necessarily makes a number 10. To me, in this day and age, a number is just what it is, a number. Pele made the number famous. Cruyff made 14 famous. Maradona chose number 10. My cautious delight about Jomal is, he appears to have the gift that tru attacking midfielders have to control the middle and create plays to win a game. I say cautious because I want to see if he can replicate his club skills on the international scene. Unfortunately we don't have time for more friendlies. Is straight into the lions den if coach was to pick him. He just has to perform or he will be just one of the many "under par" players the pro league developing.

Now on coach Hart style of coaching has a lot to do with the type of players we have. If we had Barsa type players, we know we we get a Barsa type brand. But our players not up to those standards as yet.  Hart has to keep on working with these guys. We still missing the Midas touch player or players in the core selection to take us to the top. We thought Molino was one of them, but he appears to have other ideas. I am cautiously optimistic about Jomal.
