2016 Holiday Food Drive
Welcome to our 10th annual food drive. This year the beneficiary of our food drive will be the Florence Deacon Wesleyan Children’s Home in Freeport.
Let's show our Warrior spirit and help to provide the underprivileged with fundamental items which will enhance their daily life.
Please get your friends, co-workers and family involved. Thank you all for supporting this food drive. Donation details are outlined below.
About Florence Deacon Wesleyan Children’s Home
The home was started the better part of three decades ago by Sister Florence Deacon who saw the need for providing accommodation and the opportunity for a normal childhood and opportunities for children within the Chickland/Freeport area who were displaced for one reason or another. The home is privately funded by the Wesleyan Church and by the generous donations of well wishes and at present caters to the needs of five children ranging in ages from 5 to 16, who have been placed at the home through the local court system. Many kids have passed through over the years and have gone on to live productive adult lives in society.
