Any updates on this player ? I heard no news about him in last years ssfl.
-
He didn't play in the SSFL, because he left Fatima and is now based in Canada. Last I've heard is that he is with some academy based in Europe trying to earn a professional contract.

Actually ah now see he playing with Jabloteh in de Pro League.
-
And then cast of characters that has jumped from SSFL action to Pro League action in essentially the same "season" is a sign of reality on the ground. Yet, my gut and some practical/structural concerns tell me that this occurrence ought not to be encouraged, if not deemed not permissible.
We special! Where else could you move from playing secondary school football to playing pro (even in a lower tier) on that timeline?
I can fashion a few of the arguments in favour, but ... all the evidence points to why one league is inadequate.

T&T striker Araujo-Wilson joins Czech club.
By Joel Bailey (Newsday).
JUSTIN Araujo-Wilson, a member of the 2019 T&T Under-17 football team, recently signed a two-year deal with Czech National Football League (second division) club FC Vysocina Jihlava.
The 18-year-old striker played with San Juan Jabloteh during the 2019-2020 TT Pro League before making the move to the Czech Republic.
In a You Tube interview with TT Football Association (TTFA) media officer Shaun Fuentes, Araujo-Wilson said, “It was overwhelming at first because I was here for a week and some days. I was training hard and trying to show my talents to the coaches.”
He continued, “I got a call, saying that they wanted to offer me a contract. I was just filled with joy. It’s really a blessing and I’m very grateful for it.”
The former Fatima College student also spoke about his trial stint at FC Vysocina Jihlava.
“It was unbelievable,” Araujo-Wilson mentioned. “The facilities here are amazing. When I got here, everybody welcomed me and even when they saw me play (and) I was having a hard time, they made sure that I was confident in myself.”
How is he coping with life in a new country as well as the language barrier?
“I’m trying to embrace it as best as I could but it’s so difficult with the language barrier,” Araujo-Wilson responded. “With football being a universal thing, you (had) to pay attention to what’s going on in training because if you miss (anything) you’ll have to start over drills.
“At first it was very difficult,” he added. “I had to mature a lot faster, ask questions and learn certain words in the language. It takes a little bit to get used to, but it was a good process.”
Araujo-Wilson also touched on the ongoing issue with the United TTFA and their legal battle against FIFA regarding the implementation of a normalisation committee (headed by Robert Hadad) in March to run the affairs of the sport locally.
“I just hope that everything gets under control because we have a lot of players who are working really hard and they want to put everything on the park for the country,” said the teenaged striker. “It’s just for us to do our part and, off the football field, everybody (have) to do their part. We hope and pray that everything works out for our betterment.”

Araujo-Wilson scores for Czech club youth XI
T&T Express Reports.
Trinidad and Tobago youth striker Justin Araujo-Wilson found the net when playing for the youth team of FC Vysočina Jihlava during a 2-1 loss to fifth-placed SK HS Kroměříž last Saturday in the Czech Republic.
The former San Juan Jabloteh striker signed for the second flight Czech club in September and has been playing mainly for their youth team. However, all is not well at the club. FC Vysočina’s juniors are struggling and have suffered a fourth straight close defeat on the trot. Twice trailing Kroměříž, the 18-year-old Araujo-Wilson scored an equaliser to draw Vysočina level at 1-1 at one stage of the match.
“I don’t think we were a worse team today. But we were not able to score a goal that would send us into the lead,’ stated Vysočina coach Michal Kadlec.
“In the second half, we levelled after the nice pass from Lát and the finish of Araujo-Wilson (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qxWrYYPtx8w&feature=emb_title),” he continued. “We have to keep working, gaining valuable experience and going for points. I praised the players for today’s performance. I believe that we will succeed in the next matches. Opponents from the lower half of the table are waiting for us.”

-
Has played 8 games so far but still 3rd or 4th choice for his position so hasn't popped up on the radar locally apparently.
-
How is progress?
-
How is progress?
Still not much playing time with the first team, but it doesn't mean that there isn't any progress. Hard to tell.
-
from what little i saw he has some nice touches and a bit of speed, he also seems to be a smart player, something we severely lack especially in attack.

got on the score sheet
-
scored over the weekend. you see ... This is what you call a young player btw .. :-\ :-\
-
He scored 7 goals this season with Jihlava in 26 matches played (with the first team).
Jihlava just started the pre season training for the 2023/24 season today. They will play again in the Czech 2nd tier.
On a side note, I see this is my 2nd post since I signed up to this forum back in 2005. 2 posts in 18 years.... ;D :D
-
For some reason he is not looked at.
-
Strange to me he a goalscorer he evwn scored 2.goals in the last game.to save them from relegation
-
Angus probably doesn't even know about him
-
Angus knows about him trust me
-
Not enough to include him in a 60 man listing apparently. Malcolm Shaw blows hot and cold in the Canadian League and is an automatic pick
-
Ah seem to recall reports of him training with the NT cohort during a break.
-
Chelsea4life we are thin up front . Wilson team was struggling also in czech league 2 so what gives him a pick over Shaw.? That said I would have included him over Corbin ::). The good thing is positions are up for grabs in the future. I am surprised Poon was left out also
-
asylumseeker I remember he trained last year.
-
scored 2 today

this youth cannot even get a look in the team
-
2026, the only fwd I really would give him a pick over from the list is Judah Garcia (basically injured for the whole year not great stats). I think your previous comment shows that you appreciate that 3 goals in 26 games czech league 2 doesn't make you a walk on to the NT. But keep striving Justin, don't just scrape on. Strive for your club and when it is undeniable that you make TnT you will bring so much more value. You ripening good.
-
Kounty he score 7 in 26 games and the team was struging all last season escaped relgationnon the last day . Besides that if Corbin & tyrone charles could make that prov list and then dem usl leage 1 and 2 player getting looked at he cannot get ah bligh?
