That was a lively Round 2. Boisterous even :). Allyuh slap Fenwick around even after the bell rang. :rotfl: And on top of that, Marcus slapped him going (for not being a Trini) and then turned around and slapped him again (for being too Trini).  :rotfl: :rotfl:

On the comment regarding the shock about the La Masía budget.  Without endorsing the figure mentioned, what I can state is that there is a lot of counterintuition when it comes to this subject (because often ppl think of clubs and their interest in turning a huge profit on players invested in). However, in Europe, based on a 2018 study, almost 25% of clubs held the view/adhere to a policy of allocating less than 5% of their total operating budget to players coming through the youth ranks. About 50% of the clubs regarded less than 10% of the operating budget as their sweet spot. It is something that has to be contextualized bearing some other factors in mind.

Replicating that in T&T would be costlier than the face value of the exchange rate.

Noted. In fact in checking it back the figure was way off.

The fact is for a budget to exist...there at least is a plan. And the "absence" of a plan is what is most concerning.

As it turns out, there wasn't follow-up on the shortcut principle. I would have liked to have heard that subjected to scrutiny. A pot of gold is in the mix somewhere there.

I'll have to take in that 2-hour production in segments. Just listened to the first 30 minutes. I am surprised by Ahkeela's level of excitement and engagement. Have only ever seen her in a more pensive or subdued or observer mode, but I am not surprised by her passion.

Seeing in her the hallmarks of an ambassador for the game.
