I just got the news this morning. Yes that is indeed a shocker. He was a health food freak ahead of his time. He went Howard. Did not play for them. Played for Juniors and mostly AllStars in Washington. He graduated with an architecture degree. This is the second Howard alumni to have passed in a week. Yesterday, Janine GrosvenorLaPierre was laid to rest. She is the big sister of Nigel Grosvenor, coach of St Anthony’s and later QRC. RIP both of You.

Doc was always one of the cool ones on this forum.
A sad day indeed.

Just got this from a chat group in DC. David Henry Reid, aka "Doc" on the form, burial service. They did not mentioned if the funeral will be on Zoom.
Date: Friday 25th March 2022
Location: Roxborough Roman Catholic Church
Time: 1:00 pm
Burial to be held at Argyle Cemetery
Blessing to ALL this morning.

Peter will be fondly remembered by family and friends as a loving husband and father, distinguished professor, published author, environmentalist, champion of social consciousness, proud relator and curator of the Trinidadian culture and a true friend to all who knew him.
