6 x 11 great teams.

Good job Felix!!!  On papaer we have some very imposing players. The choice gets  exceedingly  difficult. This is why I would say , if we had about three friendlies, we could really assess some talent. Bring all dem men in the fold. Run one team in one friendly another in the other and then picky yuh best and have them in the third friendly. Now we talking!!!!

Nixon and Nigel Pierre should strike for the local team.  Say what you want about Nigel Pierre but the man has improved and even though he may not look dangerous for 90 mins his strike rate is one of our best.

A and C are probably the best
but a good mixture of all those teams should be a v.good side

Once or if Latapy leaves Falkirk then Rahim may get a chance to fight for a place in midfield, I hope he grabs it with both hands.

De USA & Aisan based team looking deadly.

Plently players to choose from boy, Leo have he work cut out. But ah sure he might keep de core and not change from what BSC left off,,, to much ? but some weak links must go though.

definitely like the usa and asian combo team

Them top 3 looking pretty good. But I feel de U-23 & U-20 Combine might pull off a few suprises if ALL these teams play a tournament against each other.

The locals looking better now Flex, I saw you add Nixon and Pierre now.

There may be some viable  options in the works here. Why not  bring in all these local squads and have a weekend of " NATIONAL Team  QUALIFYING"; next we move on to a foreign team based playerss and have them "fight it out" for selection. then we mixup the players and have them play some friendlies and see where we stand?

From de feedback...de "locals" hardly gettin any love.

For me......

Atiba Charles
Anton Pierre (NOT at wing back position doh)
Densil Theobald
Aurtis Whitley/Otis Seaton
Kerwyn Jemmott
Michael Celestine
Ian Gray
Nigel Daniel
Angus Eve
Nigel Pierre

ALL HAVE TO BE INVOLVED IN DE TEAM ONCE FIT.  Maybe not ALL as starters but within de team.  Everybody else i.e. UK, US, and Asian should fit within dem....not de oddah way around.

By de way...Flex list Clayton Ince as "local" but he isn't.

Technically....Clayton is T&T first choice keeper now.

Palos,
I like that paradigm shift regarding  the make up of the team. Maybe that is an element we have been ignoring which is start with the local based pros as the CORE and then have the foreign based pros adapt as oppose to looking to create a team of foreign based players and  plugging the holes with local pros.

Are like that.

Hopefully Leo will do that since he having the 3 day camps.  I think he convince the teams is not just for show but he would be seriously considering the players.
If he don't the pro League might be just wasting their time accomodating the camps.

Abu bakr Jr. have to make one of those teams.

Prob. U20-23 combine or
even local B team.

Personally I think we should have  days set aside during the next tow months for the locals to train with some of the top U-20s suck as Bakr and Jagdeosingh.

Let them play some warm ups and see who can be drafted, we might make a discovery for the Sr. team.

Atiba Charles paid off well.

I would like to see Bakr groomed as a def/mf ...with dat big foot and work ethic...he is the future.

Peace,
VB

Abu Bakr Jr. is aight, he good at d SSFL level but at d U20 qualifiers in USA vs USA his speed or lack thereof was detrimental to our team...dis aint u14 when u cud have d luxury of slow defenders. Dey said d US U20 coach called over Adu and was point to Abu Bakr Jr. as if saying take it to him and dey say Adu was running pass him like a full bus......Ah tink we could make ah next team from fellas playing college ball in D US. Although they may not be able to come upon request because that could jeapordise their scholarship but these players should not be forgottenbcuz there is alot of talented ballers playing NCAA and NAIA football....Past stars of SSFL like Julius James, Steve Sealy,Osei Telesford,Ateba McKnight,Anthony Noriega,Dean Logan,Sheron Manswell, Kyle Cupid,Kevin Norman, Jeremy Del Pino, Keiron Benito....Remember Scott Sealy got called while at university so these players should be given an incentive as plenty of dem just overs football when they graduate.

So Israel what yuh saying/? we should  consider those players who are playing in the US colleges/universities and put them in the mix as well?

I will support that; NO stone left unturn. we looking for diamonds and some diamonds may be in the rough.

It would be good tuh have ah round robin tournament. If it was organized and marketed right, ah tink people would come out tuh see it.

A round robin tournament will be great indeed Tallman, but whats the chances of that happening and how much do you think it will cost ?

The UK players should be free from club duties soon. So this should be very realistics.

Is Nixon an option on the left wiing?
I feel he play there before at some point but maybe briefly as an experiment...anyone seen or heard about him in that position?

I still want Dwight back at the forward position....has he lost his scoring confidence?
We are yet to see the best of Jones in my opinion....attacking mid maybe...he supposedly have a powerful shot.

Right now we have face up that Marvin mightn be there.

Anyway....a whole 12 days to continue guessing about what we doing.

On paper I like what I seeing....thanks Flex

Nixon should just stick to being a striker, he's best at it.. at 32 he can still help.

Dwight and Stern cant play up front, to much of the same style. I want to see where Dwight will play for his new club. I think he's better as a attacking midfielder. Jones great there to.

Jones, Edwards, Theobald, Baptiste, Anton, Atiba and Spann is key players.... watch.
