I want the answer to this question. Is the information I read in the papers true or are some media houses trying to mess with my mind. At one point, they were acting like an emotional abuser and withholding information from the public. There were no reports for weeks about the 2006 Soca warriors.
Now, we are seeing information being given with a particular spin or trend. Is it certain media houses or journalists trying to confuse us by feeding the public with misinformation. Is this a
propaganda WAR against our 2006 Soca Warrior heroes? These are my findings:
1. Nigel Simon from Trinidad Guardian " Sancho is among several members of the Soca Warriors World Cup team who have refused to take part in next month’s Gold Cup tournament in the US"

Is this a sign of poor journalism? Is this a new wave of media propaganda? This sort of slant coming from two different papers? It makes me wonder
Is there a hidden curriculum going on? Something is not adding up.
3. Here is a different spin to the current Soca warriors drama by Ian Prescott (T&T Express). titled: Soca Warriors out Gold Cup New boys face Haiti test tomorrow.
He says" Trinidad and Tobago will not be represented by their 2006 World Cup players at the June 6-24 CONCACAF Gold Cup in the United States, even if the intervention of Sport Minister Roger Boynes leads to a quick resolution to the dispute between the T&T Football Federation (T&TFF) and the players over their share of revenue generated by qualifying for the World Cup.
The T&TFF had blacklisted the players after they had threatened to take legal action against the Federation. Since then, Boynes has said he is seeking a meeting with Federation president Oliver Camps to negotiate a speedy resolution to the dispute."
