if we qualify he will probably stay on - somebody will pay his salary until the end of wc2006. but paying for him for the next four years if he wants to stay will require alot of paper. i dont think the govt or private sector will go for it, but if we make it to the wc yuh never know what possible yes.

I doubt Real will come out and say they want to sell him but they could move in a way so Raul wants to leave so the fans will not be too upset. The past 2 seasons he has not scored much, he scored only 11 goals this season and the previous season he scored 9. So it not only this season he struggling.
yuh probably right that they could move like that - i guess we go wait and see what happens

What will building a 1 billion dollar facility in Tarouba accomplish? Maybe I missing something, but to me there isnt enough reason for the govt to spend that much paper on a new sporting facility there.
There are other more pressing issues facing the country that require funding and attention, so I agree with JW that if we have to spend money we could make more use of less money by upgrading our current stadiums.
