In my humble opinion, I think the playing field just levelling off now with new , younger and talented players coming on and the experienced, more hyped up players just getting old.So when you expect a top team(like Brazil) to go through no problem you have other teams (like Ghana) performing better than expected.This makes the WC more interesting for me, rooting for the underdog and all.

I am also a newcomer and I was disgusted by the amount of negative things people had to say. I couldn't believe that after all that these people have contributed and done for our country, that these were all these ignorant fools could do.I am so happy that this forum has people like you.I may not be an expert in the game but I like football and I support the Soca Warriors all the way.Very well said.
