i went and watch a scrimmage game with the womens team vs a west florida xi.....nice game for the girls to see what they have to do to get prepared for the tournamet...the score ended up 2-1 in we favor, Dernelle Mascall and Jinelle Nedd got the goals.....individually there was some good stuff....they still have to work on their collectiveness and organisation as a team...they should do good as the tournament progresses... dont expect any miracles though....good prospects for the future though...best of luck...they practice this morning and they have a board work session this afternoon...i will keep you guys posted bless...

anybody coming down to mobile...i will be there helping the organisers next saturday....i bringing real people to come support the girls it will be real nice....i think they play a practice match today at west florida...i going down there and take it in ah will keep allyuh posted

tnt u17 was in that group with mexico, canada, el salvador in that concacaf qualifiers in 99....from the present national team....theobbald and wilthshire was in that squad....that was a nice group ah players ....if anybody know about that team back then...what allyuh  did think?

Arima run things in de 80's too..

In 2001 Princes Town had de badest SSFL team, they had a all star squad, Dean Logan, Pacheco, Noreiga, Marvin Phillips, Lindsie Sherwood etc etc, and in 1988 Benedicts, Pres in 1989 too.

What ever happened to Vijay ? de man had some quality in him. How old he is now.

Belfon fall of bad, big things was expected of him.

Vijay was with starworld up until 2004  but he left and he not playing right now....i think belfon in the army......

Marvin should have played vs Martinique at half time just to see what he can offer. But Jan performing decent and its hard to just sub him, its nice to see them compete for place (like Jack & Hislop), they will only perform better, the competition between both keepers is very close. Marvin do have an attitude problem though, he does also lose his head fast too.

personally...i think marvin  better....but for real a keeper and ah outfield player different.....once a keeer doing well he needs to keep playing in order to build consistecy....jan did well.....and marvin will get his chance soon...he jus have to keep his head.....

Sealy has not done anything when he plays. His work rate is extremely poor. He deserves to be on the bench because if you look at Darryl Roberts he is workrate is far better. He does all the little things that coaches like to see their strikers do.

Seen himn play many times for the NT and its the same everytime. I was never impressed and actually thought he was overrated by many here. Ask yourself this question, why didn't he make the squad that was selected for Germany

Sealy had a bad game against Barbados, that doesn't mean that's the end of his National career. A lot of our big players had a bad game or games. It just happened that Roberts is playing very well and Glagow is scoring so it doesn't make sense to sub them......Bailey is a type of plaer to run at defenders, this isn't Scott's game. So I don't think it's fair to write of Sealy because of one bad game. Cyd played like a boss in the WC, and what if had written him off after that shit he did in the WC. Most of us here know that Sealy could handle himself.

I agree that on the night Telesford looked more solid than Jack, but that was because he didn't try to do the amazing on more than one occasion: i.e. beat outta d back.

Mark my words if Jack goes to Wconnection or Jabloteh he would be heading for a big pro contract. I hope it would be in Scotland with Dog.

I dont know about a  big pro contract but he will definitely get better....vibes it up T and T....BLESS

from my experience playing with him he is one of trinidad's fastest developing players...we both played at Princes Town in 2000 and 2001...He was a big part of us winning the intercol that year. He has matured into a strong dynamic and yet composed player on the ball...Honestly i wll say yes he is going to be a big part in T&T's football..he is currently out with an injury....hope he will recover soon though....i watched him play when i was home for the summer...he reminds me of Reynold Carrington though....bless up to meh breadren Frank as i does call him......

two of the girls from my school Univ. of Mobile left yesterday to go to the tournament ...Dernell Mascall and Annastacia Prescott...they had a good season in their first year playing college soccer ..lots of potential nice players...all the best to them and the rest of the team....TTFF should respect that team a lil more and treat them better though... in terms of preparation....i now here that the trinidad based players did not reach in miami until about 3 am this morning...these girls play tomorrow .....wow...what do the federation expect from this team...

fifa 07 is ah good one to get....i find the gameplay a bit more realistic......the goalkeeping is the best i ever see in any fifa game....yuh have to real think to score...i will say get it....bless

boy if jonatahn de guzman decide  to  join the Canadian team it will be thunder.. this team is good.... they will give a good account of themselves next year

meh  teamate plays for the canadian team....he play with we here at university of mobile....his name is David Monslave the sub keeper not used in that match....this is his first semester here ...since he come here in august this is he second trip to europe with the canadian national team they went to belgium earlier in september and now he in chezc...i spoke to him today and he told me the game was pretty good....TTFF has to do a better job in preparing the U20 for this tournament...Canada is hosting this u20 world cup next year....he was saying to me that jonatahn de guzman is considering playing for the dutch that is why he not going and play any games with canada at the moment.....the federation needs to vibes it up and let we produce some strong youth teams...bless....experience and exposure is very critical...

It amazing how the SSFL thread does draw more posts than the PFL thread eh.

Maybe the PFL teams need to start associating with schools.
Go a day and give away free tickets in the school.
Have a quizz session and give away some ball and team jersey etc. You know we like freeness so men might actually learn bout the team.
A newspaper pic with the "star" might encourage men too.
If they do it anually they might actually develop a fan base.
