Football / Re: New TnT flag for fans
« on: February 09, 2007, 01:20:33 AM »
As depicted above, almost all the england flags you see in stadiums have some representation of their club allegiance on their national flag.  That is an old and very broad law, I imagine more designed to prevent the use of the flag in a negative manner (eg. puttin a bamsee on the flag and walkin in front of de Red House).
While we on the topic, who see the person constantly wavin a Trini flag behind the mini field during the espn countdown to the superbowl in Miami?
I love it!.. and I always have a flag/handkerchief in mih back pocket, so lock mih up!

No it was because the striker, Murphy pulled wide on the break before hitting the shot/pass that Carlos converted.  Most of the sunderland responses I've been hearing are that he's giving some much needed balance to the wings.  At the next break however, we need to get him home for some much needed sun!

safc, the video was great... unitl you panned left at the end and the were about 4 wednesday supporters in their stands.  I back Carlos' move 100% but both him and the club need to be in the premiership and soon.

Sampson runs camps that focus on what he calls "Tiny Mites" or near toddlers all over the DC- Metro area.He has perfect energy and attitude for that age group, not sure how he'd do with older age groups.  Any way, it won't be him  ;)

One year from now we go see their long-term coach.  :o
As far as the Trinis in coaching positions goes, I know Maurice Loregnard (Madras) was at U. of Tampa, Anthony Sherwood is involved with u of Richmond in some capacity and Ryan Anatol (CIC, mid to late 90s) is Asst. head coach at U. of South Florida - Tampa.

Congrats Carlos, another positive step in your career and knowing your sound judgement it's no doubt the right move.  I look forward to seeing it bear fruit for you.  The men who ball days done long time can live vicariously through someone else.

Be patient, is just about the right set of circumstances and Sancho's will come soon enough.  Avery will do well and obviously he earned his spot but he is also lucky to be in his off season at a time when QPR is strugglin and needs new faces.  I'm sure Gillingham will be reluctant to let Brent go in the middle of the season.  After the World Cup though, I'm sure eyes are on Sancho as well.

Wherever it is Carlos deserves the exposure of Premiership football.

#8+1, yuh right. It's about making himself more marketable, whether he plans to leave Barca or not, it means more interest from other clubs and a better all around bargaining position.

I would like it to be Newcastle, especially as he could slot in at right back nicely. They're not happy with stephen carr and have a winger, Solano and a teenager playing there now and not much cover after that. However he recently said there were only two players outside the Premiership that he was interested in, at least in this January window.

So true Howler. Jack Warner is a cancer!  He eh help we reach no World Cup... he keep we from makin it long time ago.  We lose out on some of we best players during some of we most promising football years because man didn't want to come back to play and get the run around with dey money or have their careers threatened for not playing a friendly or sumtin.Lo and behold. WC gone and he still up to he same Jackarse antics.

He inevitably at some point will have to play at a ground (maybe even his own) with no showers, but a huge muddy bath type ting for every body to get into.  I predict he will be on the next plane back to the land of flyin fish after dat.

Hate to bring up old subjects, but he shoulda been on the field every minute of every game in Germany. Before the England game a man turn around and tell me "Latapy cyah make in this game, he eh have the legs."  Dat was de last time I ever speak to he.
