These girls are more insightful than our senior men...and way more articulate.  The locally groomed girls prove that you can speak with 100% trini accent and dialect and still sound intelligent and be taken seriously... Some of our local based senior guys should take some notes.

We need more of these things published/documented. We have a rich history and need to celebrate it!

I welcome the inquiry...

Me too!

Things are also very interconnected. Delloreen's husband, Lincoln London is a Trini. Anyone  here knows him?

I know Lincoln (have not talked to him forever). We both ran for Memphis Pioneers back ln the mid 90's. He ran the 400 and was quite talented. I remeber him going off to a junior college in the US.

Argentina 2 - USA 1

Argentinans can be an arrogant bunch (not all but some). A man from Argentina once hit me- Maradona was the best in the world but only one of the best in Argentina. That was not the sole basis of my opinion that Argentinans arrogant but just further evidence.

I Feel sorry for the boy going through US Customs and Immigration. If he only pass through Miami. then he must be warned that he will miss his connecting flight.
A suggestion would be to have a six hr cushon as a connecting flight.
If he gets in Miami at 12noon, get a connecting flight after 4pm.
It takes about 3and a half interrogation time.

Yuh know de ting self...

Football / Arsenal agree loan swap of Reyes for Baptista
« on: August 31, 2006, 02:26:26 PM »
MADRID, Aug 31 (Reuters) - Real Madrid have agreed a deal with Arsenal to take Spain forward Jose Antonio Reyes on loan for one season in exchange for Brazil's Julio Baptista, the Primera Liga club said on Thursday.

The agreement includes an option for the clubs to buy the respective players at the end of the season-long loans, a Real spokesman told Reuters.

Although the clubs are in agreement, the players have yet to sign their contracts.

Reyes, 22, has been an inconsistent performer for Arsenal since his move to the London club from Sevilla in January 2004, and has made no secret of his desire to return to Spain.

He has been a long-time target of the nine-times European champions.

Real's 24-year-old midfielder-cum-forward Baptista, who has failed to make it into new coach Fabio Capello's plans, was a target for Arsenal before he joined Real from Sevilla last year.

He was reported by Spanish media to have passed a medical with Arsenal.
