Yeh boy it gettin late.
I personally find that we play better when we have more in midfield.
Look at the game, only when Whitley,Hyland and Telesford were in midfield in d 2nd half we had more possesssion and created more options.
2 in the centre and 2 up front just not suiting us, and that 2nd striker not gettin service anyway...so better we put Telesford behind Whitley and Hyland. I was extremely impressed with Telesford's work rate,passes, turning and runs off the ball to make himself available. He would shut down the opposition midfield seeing that ours takes forever to recover. As I said, the 2nd striker would be underutilized and starved of service.....better choice would be Telesford.

Breds...I am very certain that Cupid would rise and keep that 'Right Back' position for himself.
He have wat it takes. Jus need to work with him on his positioning.....especially with balls over the top and diagonal balls.
He is extremely good going forward and recovers well.....the positioning is something he will work on and make the adjustments. He was exposed by a Primiership all-star team after all. Remember it was his overlapping and cross that created Telesford's goal against Jamaica.
That being said, Kareem Smith does not offer much going forward but is simple,effective and solid at the position. Time for him to get an extended run to see who is really better.

Who ya rather....Farrier..Akile Edwards or CXC Form5 boy Akeem Adams.
Give d yout a chance....he showin rel potential. The US colleges play at a decent level.....he will handle he stories.
Dey are all good players wit potential....but Farrier is a more complete player...daz jus my opinion....

Trini_2010.....did you see the Barbados game?
Barbados was their biggest test(after Jamaica) and d yout look like on of the more complete left sided players I have seen play at left back for T&T. I also like Akile Edwards(reliable and tidy)...but Farrier is a more complete player defensively and offensively.

Yeh....I happy with the entire selection except dah one....Scottie should have been there.
But to be fair, Roberts need the exposure to play for T&T at a high INTERNATIONAL level as well....Scottie got the exposure in Gold Cup, WCQ and and World Cup. We know what we gettin wit Scottie so his place I think is sealed for the upcoming WCQ.
Also his ommission indicates that Mataz only playin one striker so I doh mind after all. He will get his chance. Let d youts get this lil bit of exposure that we could rarely give them...wah ya say?

Fellaz, ya know what....Carlos and Kenwyne's last minute omission from the quad may turn out to be a blessing in disguise. We know what they bring.....let some of the other players compete for places. Let's really test these youths and aid their international ddevelopment.

I actually saw 90 minutes of Julius James last night against Western Virginia Univ. This guy has to be in the 2010 pool. Reliable as ever in the back...and COMPOSED with the ball at his feet. First time I actually saw him play.

When ah said feeder team...ah meant not necessarily a formal transition...but in terms of the age group of the players....we should be selecting most of our squad from a pool of players around this age. And if these guys are training together and playing matches and qualifiers...then all the better......analagous in a way to the Windies A team.
75% of our Senior team should be of that age(U-23) or just a litttle older....not 29, 30, 31 and 32.
We have good coaches(I eh know bout McComie doh )......but with inadequate structure and development....it hard to teach big man proper football when dey grow up on a substandard level of play.
