« on: February 11, 2010, 03:44:01 PM »
I think Stephen Hart should be the coach of the T&T team, he is presently coaching the Canadian Team. He is one of the best coaches who is knowledgable with the international experience to the the T&T team to the next level.

To all the members who attended the World Cup, looks like we will go down in history as being there in person to witness history...... after almost 4 years the memory lives on

Its unbelievable..... how could the coaches allow Elsalvador to run at us in 2nd half, maybe our defence is not as good, we were nervous and caught out of position most of the time, make no mistake the other teams will be looking to exploit our weakness.

UNBELIEVABLE......

Football / Everyone is running scared and in a panic
« on: December 12, 2008, 10:31:30 AM »
Since T&T got eliminated everyone is in a panic and running scared, these are some of the comments and posts that are out there

- Fire Maturana Now
-Latas vs Corneal
-Suggestions for a new Coach

Members now is not the time to panic , whilst its unfortunate that we got knocked out the bigger prize is still ahead and its attainable ( the nucleus of the team is still intact). I still believe that Maturana can do the job , just keep in mind that we will be facing South Americans teams ( and he knows how to prepare for these teams)
I am sure Jamaica would like to be where we are now ( into the 2nd round of the W/C qualifiers)

HAVE FAITH

« on: December 08, 2008, 11:45:30 AM »
Folks, lets help out Jack! He desires the money that T&T qualifying for South Africa 2010 will bring him but has no idea of the best person to go for WHEN Maturana is replaced (there is no longer any IFs about this, just a matter of time).

Can you please put forward some serious candidates that JW can consider for the post?

I suggest:-

option 1: Russel Latapy headcoach/player; Dwight Yorke assistant headcoach/player

option 2: SH headcoach; Russel Latapy & Dwight Yorke assistant headcoach/player

Please add your suggestions below as right now JW bussing his brain wondering who to line-up in case we get we tail blaze in El Salvador due to the Corbeux brand!  :-[

Why are you so quick to get rid of the present coach... be careful what you wish for and let's be thankful the we have a coach who has took us to the next round of the W/C qualifier.

« on: December 05, 2008, 03:37:10 PM »
for christmas is the dismissal of Maturana. Nobody could tell me that this man is better than what we have in the T&T pro league minus Granville. This man can't coach period. And let us not fool ourselves. thank God for Dwight and Latas otherwise without their onfield input the Digicel would have been the second competition we would been eliminated from.

This is why when I read LP I get so sick and upset. These asslickers are only interested in keeping their little cush jobs while our football going to hell in a hand basket. I will put Fenwick, Fevrier and even Streets up against this dumb ass anyday and they would run rings around any team he picks minus Dwight and Latas.

Maybe it is good thing that we are coming home early hopefully the big thief could find some clause to get rid of him without paying him. He does not deserve a cent. Mr hunt if you read this please do not authorise any money to pay this dentist who parades as a football coach. Pay him for a cleaning or better yet an extraction....his, from our footbal.
Whatever you are smoking .....could i have some please because i dont think you have a clue about coaching

Modern international coaches has all the practical and academic credentials going for them before they are even considered to be a national team coach. We are being caught up in a world being fanatics if we are to reall demand for Latas to be our national coach. Maybe he might be a success but in terms of credentials he will be way out of his league. Great player he was, skillfull he still has flashes. But that does not give him enough to be an international coach. Modern successful international coaches are all interlects, thinkers highly qualified professional individuals who are not only footballistically trained but interletually. This will make them muh more tactically sound and communicative in terms of teaching and explaining tactics and systems. We talk about Klinsman and Van Basten but besides being great ballers they are educated men which is a different type of training that goes with being a professional in modern sports. I personally am not yet impessed by his credentials as yet if we are to really take our football to a different level(this being my real area of concern).

« on: June 15, 2008, 05:40:16 PM »
How could this happen... the coaching staff needs to take responsibility for this loss.

Do Trinis know that throughout Caribbean World Cup qualifiers history. Only one Caribbean nation has ever beaten Jamaica in World Cup qualifying.

That nation is Cuba. They defeated Jamaica in 1965 and 1976. And I don't see that trend continuing with any other Caribbean nation in the near future. Even with Jamaica's football in a slump. ;D
Dream on Bro

« on: May 30, 2008, 08:35:37 AM »
Fifa: Are Jamaica still the best team in the Caribbean?

Gardner: We've been getting a challenge beating from some of the other better teams in the Caribbean of late, like Haiti and Trinidad and Tobago. But I still think that if you look down the line at the British players we have and the Britz we produce consistently, we are still the third excuse me, I mean forth best footballing nation in the Caribbean.

Read Full Interview
We will beat Jamaica anytime and any day, they are arrogrant... and in denial that their status as being #1 in the carribean was only brief ( 1998). I still think T&T is the best football nation in the caribbean, followed by Hati and then Jamiaca.

Fixed it for him  :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
