I understand the need for this post. But let's not get carried away. I agree that local talent should be showcased before any foreign talent. But the reality is is that there are more Trinis running reggae on their ipod than yardies running soca on theirs. So maybe this is a good way to get the younger crowd out.

@ On de block, I heard that before.. Jamaicans are very "protectionist" when it comes to their culture. However Jamaicans who are exposed  to Trini culture, tend to be less protectionist and appreciate Trini more.

When I was in Jamaica, I was surprised to hear the amount of soca they does play in the uptown Kingston clubs. However,  don't go to a "dance" and expect the dj to run soca. It ain't happening. But during carnival time, yuh go hear soca in yard.

Yeah pitch I agree that trini's ipods full of jam culture, and I noticed in the behind the bridge EPOS area sometime ago Jamaicans from the Salasee I order, reaching out to TNT ghetto youth informing them to stop listening to that gun & badman music, that a trail of blood with tens of 1,000's of black youth murdered from JA all thru the Caribbean and they going from island to island seeing the carnage and spreading their message that this is evil vibes that a black man making music with an anointing that  black youth killing out each other...

it comes down to you Mr. Hart, it's either you know the ingredients that manifest TNT best performance (TNT vs MEX) or you don't, now our last three games (CRC  Mart  USA) the Real TNT never surfaced and watching TNT is like drilling for oil, boring, Costa Rica on paper is the better team but what I saw at HCS, if the Real TNT showed up we could of had 1 point even 3, I refuse to accept this is our ceiling of performance, a good craftsman never blames his tools, as the man in de control tower the war to Russia has started, we pick up two shots but this is war, battlefield Honduras should be nothing less than we coming out all guns blazing, men run till they bun an use up every sub if we have to, but Harty do something different, because the same ol same ol eh wuking rite now...

on Nov 19th 1989, I was just another trini fan cheering on my team the "strike squad" vs usa, but 27 years later as I look back a different picture is seen, in that it was T&T vs USA inc.,  a business, starting with their money, they have an endless supply via their "federal reserve' which prints money into existence, and via wall street in Jew York they are able to control the world economy.

Now one might ask how does that tie in with T&T vs USA inc., well up until that time this super-power (USA inc) had no power in world football and it was only after that day everything changed as was said " the shot heard around the world".

Now let's start wit world war 2, where did Hitler get money to fund his war effort?? USA inc.. it is said german soldiers were wearing uniforms made from cotton picked in the USA inc, vehicles that transported german soldiers to kill americans were made by Ford Motor Co (USA inc) the list is endless but you get the picture.

Now let's go to Cuba where USA inc failed to overthrow, but guess who owned half of Cuba at that time ??

yuh need to watch T&T vs MEX last two encounters, you will see a rhythm, more so after being two goals behind, down to the very last second of the game with a corner kick an being showered with plastic bottles, is goal, this rhythm is no fluke, it is not about one player, it is because of this rhythm why it is called the beautiful game, an we have it and Hart will get it to Russia starting with costa rica...
