Football / Re: Lionel Messi Thread.
« on: March 09, 2012, 11:23:13 AM »
Messi is the best, hands down. The fella have ah hunger that seems insatiable. You have never seen that in Zidane, Ronaldinho, a little in the Real Ronaldo and some what in Maradonna. I think it was in Pele when he was younger - like pre 20s. CRonaldo, just does not have it, it's either happening for him or it not.

Looking at Messi play is like looking at someone who is dying and desperately clinging to life. Like the minute he stops playing his life will end. It so intense and different. The level of defensive tactical organization is at an all time best right now and Messi is yet to be solved for.
Yes he has great passers behind him, yet no manager in the world will go onto the field with out a specific and detailed plan for Messi and for players supporting Messi. A team preparing to play Barca with Messi prepares a whole lot differently than if preparing to play the same Barca team without Messi.

How many times has Messi played without Xavi and Iniesta and still showed why he is the best? The fella is it as their is no current comparisons and the old comparisons goes as far as Messi hasn't won a WC.

Steups... you cyah be serious

u clearly doh watch football....
all this xavi iniesta bull has to stop....
Messi de best ever hands down

Football / Re: Small Mag observations T&T vs Barbados
« on: October 11, 2011, 10:24:13 PM »
Well done small mag... dont put all your hopes in hector though....
and as you rightly said its only barbados... Quality players will shine against top teams so time will tell ... we have yet to play a "good" team under pfister ... and guyana also isnt a top team...
i fully expect us to come out of this group and in the next group phase against mexico and co... we will see this team's true character

« on: September 13, 2010, 07:38:56 AM »
Well from your argument my breddren that means teams like Blackpool, sheffield Wednesday and Nottingham should be leading the race in premiership teams since they use to run tings in their time. But thats not the case is it? No Chelsea, Manu and Liverpool are at the forefront. Why? Better footballing history? No cause that doesnt mean diddle squat if there is no program development. Get Germany out of your heads people. It is ancient history.

Homes all de man was saying is that we shoulda been past all dis shit long time.... we playin football 100 years now... we should be miles ahead of many other countries in terms of our player development, facilities and general level of our coaches and personnel.  We failed to do things properly in the past so now every coach we get hadda work with raw talent and has to try to turn that into a competitive football team within a year or two. Right now as said before we are rebuilding. After 2006 we shouldnt have to rebuild not like this.  But such is the trini way. We failed to put a proper system in place years ago and now we are paying for it .... simple as dat...... yeah i doh think latapy ready either....  but maybe our footballers need some sort of consistency, until we can get a proper system in place starting now to build towards the future. I think no coach will change will do what we all expect them to do.... As of right now, the whole world is moving forward yet T&T standing still if not declining.

Football / Re: Scott Sealy like Jason Scotland scores wherever he plays
« on: February 11, 2009, 10:22:51 AM »
Scott has had several chances with the T&T team.... the fact of the matter is he hasn't played well enough or scored the goals to merit a starting place or even a place on the bench......
With all that said things change very quickly in football and if he continues scoring for Maccabi i'm sure we will see him playing for T&T again in the near future
