After I leave trini in 1991, after Santa Rosa Ball Players dominate Eddie Hart league, all of a sudden, Santa Rosa FC show up.

Arima you play on de Santa Rosa under 19 champions team dat lost to Tringrove over 30 team in Eddie hart league ? You know de side wid Bennet and dem ?  dat side had national youth players but bounce up ah old man side dat manners dem in front de grand stand ...

Wayyysa, yuh know how long i eh hear Bennet and dem name call, grew up watching Brent and Sheldon Bennet kick ball  for Compre... They used to also kick ball with my big bros for a side called Samdoria in a community league in Santa Rosa too back in the late 80's/early 90's...

Well I got mine this morning via 800-FANS, not without some serious re dialing on my part!!

TTFF like they won't organised in time... I Called at 8am, and a lady answered saying "call back lata nah, around 9 o'clock nobody here yet." I called back at 9am, and sobeody else say dey eh ready yet, call back lunch time... Then when 12 O'clock reached, line was busy. Finally after re dialing a few hundred times, another lady said, the tickets are on sale now, but for me to call back in 3 mins, cuz the agent is on the phone taking orders.... "THE AGENT IS" eh (Like TTFF only had one person taking calls) Well a cuss d woman! and hang up....

Call back bout ah hour later and finally got thru, disguise meh voice a lil though in case d woman remember my voice and hang up on me  ;D

Football / Re: Maturana & Corneal
« on: August 21, 2008, 08:37:55 PM »
I now feel that I have to concede this arguement is a lost cause on my part judging by how everyone seems to agree with you...Tallman,fair enough you win on this MB.I now get the feeling that the majority of people do not want Maturana and Corneal to carry on with the job of trying to take us to SA,if that is the case, what is your considered opinion. In my humble opinion Maturana  and to a lesser extent Corneal should remain in their present positions, but thats me.Maybe you are aware of more info than I am coz I live in England and may not always have all the facts.REGARDS.
My contribution to this thread has nothing to do with whether or not our current technical staff should be allowed to continue in their position. It has nothing to do with building them up or breaking them down. The goal was merely to look objectively at the the present and former regime, and keep things in perspective, without the emotions. Present the data, after which we can draw our own conclusions.

Me eh care who running de program. I jes want our football to reach de heights dat is warranted after 100 years. I want more football, more accountability, more responsibility, more transparency, more professionalism, more planning, more caring, less politics, less ego, less personal agendas, less ulterior motives. Play de game right.

Who say Tall Man for TTFF President?  ;D And Flex too

Guy it's youtube..an I take no pleasure in jumpin on nobody ass, especially yours..buh if yuh want to play dem fantasies, an believe dem ting, is free, buh I go stay orf an out..If for you and all educated ppl  read tha as the Official site of TTFF and Shaun is Unprofessional and la de da, well dat is to bad for shaun, land some of you, like you said, doh look and listen to dat shit..thanks to Eman for posting it for chupid ppl like me, and anybody else who can appreciate this total unprofessional, and uneducated BS ..excuse meh eh..me not care to fight ...sorry boss

You are obviously looking for shit.  While the info is suitable for the general T&T public, Shaun should not declare it as an Official Channel of the TTFF and then proceed to use colloquial speech.

That is not professional.

Fella you are an ass I initially surmised.  You like a lot of trinis accept mediocrity and then complain when things go wrong in your mediocre lives.

Get a grip!  So what if it is Youtube?  It is being used a means to disseminate information from the TTFF.  Unless Shaun is a damn liar!

I find both a alyuh cud take your surmises, mediocrities, improper grammatical errors and unprofessional interview, and d isms, scisms and what ever else and f$%& off... Football / Re: Are we really better off with or without Jack Warner??
« on: June 24, 2008, 05:17:30 PM »
breddah, you'll never get an answer to that question, simply because no private investor stepping into the equation to put out money to hire coaches like leo and maturana, neither will they have the connections, its as simple as that, however there is a flip side to this story, the ttcb has become one of the best sporting bodies in the caribbean and has produced talent after talent, winning regional titles with little money provided, the ttff can also in theory be as successful or more; however our govts are corrupt and so are the people who may take over, replacing may see another greedy  successor but with less connections and less money.

Like is said to many, which private group will show its face right now and say they want a chance at running tt football? I am still waiting for that group.

God is de BOSS....

Good point, that should give us hope that it can be done...

Now, I’ve sit back and observed for a very, very long time, (and I know I’m risking being criticized for what im about to say, but who gives a f*&%)

I must say that everyone on, well not everyone but some of the persons on this forum are at times too judgmental, extremely critical and feel they are always right and could do much better when it comes to The TTFF &  JW. Some here cast aspersions and make erroneous statements that imply, that all they do entire day is sit in their executive leather chairs in the board room looking for ways to suck Trinidad dry of all its money and destroy our football to the point where it's beyond repair.  I don’t think anyone here can tell me that JW hasn't given a lot to football in Trinidad, more than any Gov’t, fan or Corporation has ever done. I also say that we have become so Anti - JW, that it's hard for us to see the good he has done. In my opinion, If it weren't for JW we would have never been able to hire a coach like Leo Beenhakker, and would have certainly never made the World Cup in 2006. I for one applaud him and thank him for the good he has done and for his tremendous contribution to the development of football in T&T. With that said, don't think I’m not aware that with the many good he has done, he has also allegedly been accused of taking a hell of alot more, which to this day (at least to my knowing) he has never been prosecuted for. Let me also say, by no means am I denying that the administrators are innocent of having our football in the terrible state that it’s in , and that their are serious issues to be dealt with in the TTFF. I for one believe its time for a new executive. But the question I’m getting to and asking you all to think carefully about is, where would our football be with out JW? Love him or hate him, he has done a lot, and if he exits our football affairs, is there anyone capable enough and with the connections JW has to champion our cause and fight for Trinbagonian football?? I await your comments...

I agree with a man who called in and say bring Guus Hiddink.... even if we have to pelt out US $1M per mth.... with a big bonus if he takes us to the 2nd round of the world Cup.

We have the money and altho some would say thats a waste of money, especially when it could be better spent in other sectors in which upgrades are much needed ... I think no amt of money can compare to the feeling of pride and overwhelming joy the country feels when our team is doing well.
