Where is the meet up before the game in Texas or even the Friday night lime

Budd, I got tickets in section 114, apparently that’s where the Trini Posse is supposed to be. I have a few padnas going to the game and we would more than likely meet up in the parking lot to have a few before we go in.

If you see us, I’ll have on a Trini bandana around my neck…feel free to pull up and have a drink. I’m not sure what’s the scene after the game

GAMEDAYYYYY

The first & last time we had an opportunity to go to Copa, we were in a playoff against Haiti which we lost. Stephen Hart was our head coach then.

It’s unfortunate we did not have a fifa window to prep our first team. This exercise was to give our b team a run out/bligh and maybe identify some talent to incorporate into 1st team.

Let’s see what happens in Texas…I’m optimistic

It’s crazy to see Curaçao ranked above us…imagine that…oh wait…it’s a reality.

I hope Eve isn’t over confident due to his fantastic win against USA, or he feels like the job is done with the “no one thought we would be here” and play like is a sweat match.

This is a huge huge opportunity to play amongst the worlds best.

Canada is the toughest test out of Honduras and Costa Rica…I was hoping we get Costa Rica, and would have probably preferred Mexíco over Honduras.

I really really reallllly hope Eve is fired. The TTFA has yet again let down a crop of talented players…it’s unfortunate that our football has long long been in disarray and those responsible for improving our football are incompetent, literally taking away opportunities from the talented youths. It’s a sin, a crime!

True…i don’t understand how in a must win game to advance, Molino, & JJ, warming bench…Gomez was just running around aimlessly…and Molik Khan came in to ball watch…

Very disappointing

Football / Re: Levi Garcia Thread
« on: February 15, 2023, 03:40:38 PM »
Interesting read, Levi Garcia is paid less than 13 other AEK players. Yuh might have to translate from Greek

https://www.sport24.gr/football/livai-gkarsia-o-kalyteros-for-toy-protathlimatos-einai-o-pio-chamila-ameivomenos-toy-big-5.9939581.html

Another one from yesterday full of praise and data on Levi.
https://www.sport24.gr/football/aek-i-persini-enosi-troei-ti-skoni-tis-fetinis-kai-toy-astamatitoy-livai-gkarsia.9939575.html

This second article says Levi won the penalty that Amrabat scored in that game. A defender tripped him from behind and got sent off.

It’s strange that you point this out because i often find that AEK does not highlight Levi as much when he scores a goal or assist compared to his lighter skin colleagues. Maybe it’s me…but I find it strange.

There's nothing that you can say about Canada apart of how ordinary they look, we look just a little worse but can still score 2 goals, and with 10 men.I hope we can improve and that's not out of the question.

PS. I have beaten off Cancer over the past 7 months with Chemo Therapy at a Hospital in London.

Congratulations brother!!! True warrior.

On another note…that youth man we give a passport and fly een…all yuh sure the youth didn’t think is volleyball he came to play instead of football??

Second half showing was aloooot better…I hope Cooper change his tactics and let the guys ply the ball instead of just defending in our half like they did in the first half.

I agree and hopeful that he’s picking up on a transfer…nothing on his social media!

guys I have a question…Trinbagonians can’t play in the Premier League as of now because we are ranked low as a country, is this true?

Joevin and Molino would have made a huge name in the PL.

Not trying to be speculative, but I think a transfer is on the books this transfer season…he wasn’t on Aek roster for their last game, or for their game today as well…he is in form, no reason for him not to be starting, yet alone on team roster…let’s see…

Levi had a penalty saved, then the keeper save a header from the corner originating from the penalty, which caused another corner; that Levi scored; 1-1...guyana dominated; we only played decent in the last 15 minutes and created good chances. Doesn't seem like there is good comradery; and I don't understands Eve's tactics in making such late subs with players that was playing level tata; powder being a big one, and I cant remember the other fella name, but he plays in USL, a shortman

honestly speaking guys...this Guyana team had me thinking we were playing against the team that gonna win the World Cup in Qatar. They literally have us on the back foot for extended periods, creating more chances, corners etc.. We cant string passes together in the midfield, yet alone getting into the final 3rd...Guyana is dominating us, the only player that making any sort of impact is Levi Garcia and Aubrey David

I see Terry saying next rounds he’ll have more top quality players...this eh about top quality players Mr. Fenwick...on paper, we had the quality in that squad to win that game...what was lacking is proper  coaching....straight up...he was out coached. Call a spade a spade...if we make it out this group, I hope the admin have a plan to get a top coach. I like Terry. I prefer him over Lawrence, but we’re still a ways away.

Guys...on paper we have a superior team in this group...we have the talent...we’re lacking cohesiveness and fitness...even though this Puerto Rico team came out to win this game, and they were better than Guyana...we should have put away our limited chances!!!

We always like this drama style.

We did look better composed this game though and I like how Terry lot the team up, “two touch pass!!”

The guys lack intelligent intensity

and the YouTube of the Puerto Rican federation (to be provided).

I'm sure other choices will appear as well.

Thanks budd!

Pretty decent game guys...we will get better with more games under the belt...Levi has really matured. Tefler is a work horse, Phillip is a work horse as well, with experience he’ll be a huge asset! We finally have a real goal keeper, and that Poon Angerson fella run his legs off. This team is a definite work in progress. Could have been 5-0 with better composure. Molino was definitely missed! Well done. 3-0...

With the exception of Molino...this is a decent squad!?! Fenwick should be able to pull off a win against Guyana’ with this talent...I can’t believe I just say that  :banginghead:
