No "quote" necessary Mr. Marcus superstar allrounder, if your cred legit respect.  Anybody reading this two page trail will know who the comments directed to. Nontheless, my odds on the top team in South thus far in the season.

Pres getting lix anyway, you sound like you ain't ever wear a Pres uniform between the the touch lines, you sound like ah typical NON PLAYER..... small goal ain't count. You never been on a Naps team so do' start talking about who wish they could be where, the fact is that when a player come to play here they wear the uniform on and off the field with pride, I would know.... bilieve that.

Football / Re: Why do Americans dislike football?

Reason is that they cannot find a way to dominate it so they slam it. Setup two goal and put ah weapon in their hands and then they go appreciate it!

Absolutely gracious people. Of all three, the Swedish fans were very nice. They were very disappointed with the TnT draw but we cheered them up.

Look here, I'z a Indian who played at 15 years old on my Secondary School's Senior league in TnT. I had stamina, drive, I could see the game, take direction and was supported by all my team, oh and take nuff bullet in my chest like anyone else, oh and also ran 100 meters in just over 11 secs in soft shoes on grass at 15. Man nobody could meet me and say I soft for nuthin'. When you in it you see past those things (race and colour) and really don't care who come from where as we all know talent and fame negates colour to a degree, but as a human race we need to move forward and get out the darkness which suppresses our human spirit. Get you mind out of the gutter. If the talent pool is bigger we have more opportunity to succeed, it's just the law of numbers. BTW who brought organized football and cricket to us, isn't it the English? Who are we to say who should play what and who should watch who. People could choose who the hell want to watch and support , why should we pass judgement on that.

I praise the job done by Beenie and don't believe many could have gotten the same result with the given circumstances. My hope is that he returns but I hope the decision makers have a plan B. Beenie is 63 and will be bordering 70 by 2010.

His stock has risen a bit since bringing TnT to the WC but with so many other coaches out there looking for work I think he'll play a little bit of chess and see what's best for himself. I spoke to some Dutchmen in Germany and they don't really like the dude but that could well be personal preference. Put it this way, Zico, Klinsman and Beenie, who would you pick?

« on: July 10, 2006, 08:08:38 AM »
Well, really and truly it's up to the players to crowd the ref and help get the goal appealed there and then, especially in that scenario. Look at the final, how long after the ref make the call to book ZZ. if there is an on pitch protest it must be dealt with. I blame the, Crouch, the Refs then we. I personally didn't see the infraction from my vantage point (live in stadium) when it occured but I wasn't 20 feet from the pitch, but with 5 enforcers watching the game this is not acceptable. Anyway 31 teams get knocked out so we ain't do so bad.

Sounds like sour grapes, he time come and gone like all the other so called "experts" and critics.  :)  They all have the same gripes. He talk about all the foreign coaches and the people who leave TnT, the players leave TnT too, but they all come together for the common cause though when their number is called. Latapy will most likely the next local based coach and surely didn't mind sitting out his time in Germany, and if Benhakker was scared of opening the defence with Latas on it's was only in the best interest of conceding additional goals.
As a fan I would agree that Latas should have been on the field but who am I to say. Technically there are arguments which could be made both ways but I'm sure an open debate could settle this.... Leo vs Gally

Look here, everyone have their own ideas and beliefs about why the dude should be invited to come to TnT to help inspire the youth in TnT, but the fact of the matter is this is not a bad idea whatsoever. This is not going to make superstars out of anyone, this is just a motivational experience for certain individuals who will want to take from encounter.  We all know that in this sport that by the time you hit 10 years old you can tell who has potential. It's up to the people at the grass roots level in school system and what little else means to exceed in this sport exist in TnT to help propel the youth to be on the right track. Look at Yorke and Latas for instance, look how long now dem playing for TnT, since they really young and look at them know. People now catch Warrior fever as it has proven to help inspire the nation and hence they're looking at it as an outlet to help their own agenda.

I would agree that the keeper for Saudi was not up to par with the other Goalies we've seen on WC '06 stage. Funny enough I was telling someone that a few days ago.
