100 kids??? That alone is a huge responsibility and logistical nightmare for a team in an international tournament. I find it hard to believe a team would travel to the UK (with that amount of people) without housing accommodations. With big tournaments here in the US hotels within a 20-30 mile radius are already booked up 2 months prior. We must be missing critical information here.

As much as I try to be an optimistic supporter, I don't have much faith for 2026. I feel like we'll compete and lose out in the final stage again, that's how it typically goes. We need to revamp our scouting and find players who can be difference makers when it matters most. I love the fact that we're organized defensively but we have to step it up a level to play on the front foot more. I thought we truly came alive after Canada scored and if we were playing like that a bit more throughout the game our chances to win might've been better. It takes a certain level of fitness and technical ability to play that way.

Caught the game from the 30 min mark. We seem to be throwing Canada off with our slower style of play. Goalkeeper looks solid too.

Well said, it seems like we're not using our resources to scout players effectively. I mean we can't bring everybody but we can certainly identify the top 2-3 to target who can help/fit in to the team then go from there.

Still no traction here? I mean since we rebuilding with youths and have an important game in March this should be a no brainer...

Yeah we had some opportunities where we should've been more clinical and some passes/crosses in and around the penalty were woeful but we're building. We'll need to clean those up for the playoff game.

Scoring at least 3 unanswered goals against the US is a tall order, especially since our identity has been defensive in all our games since GC. Should Eve stick to his guns and aim for a moral victory (0-0 or 1-0 win) and keep playing his style to build the chemistry with the focus on the single elimination game? Or go all out in attack to try for the 3+ goals to give ourselves a chance of qualifying now?

Peong, to me it looked like he made contact with the ball but I knew the ref was going to give that 2nd yellow after how he gave the first one on a soft call. The first one reminded me of the red Rashford got in CL last week.

Goodluck tonight boys. I'm hoping everyone's fit and we can remain organized without becoming discombobulated as we seldom do against the US.Watching the scores of the last 3 games vs the US 6-0, 7-0 & 6-0 loses. If we can grind out a draw I would be over the moon.

Hopefully the guys are putting in extra personal training and getting their fitness levels in peak form especially after what happened this past July. That should be motivation to avoid a repeat of that disaster.

Yeah Dan spoke on it at halftime and said he's okay. I was concerned as well as they went to a commercial in the midst of everything with Dan was clearly terrified.
Shaka glad to hear you're okay and you're have some awareness as to what's going on. Everyone's happy to hear that! Hope you get back to your normal self soon!

Seeker 100%. Although Canada was the superior team, he had Nigeria well organized throughout the game and they had some luck on their side. Our women's program was going through that same learning phase as well.

He coached Nigeria to a draw against Canada. Ever since him and SH were terminated both programs significantly declined.

Did Canada's goalkeeper represent us at the youth level?
