In my opinion USA played with alot of heart and character yesterday. They went down a man with the sending off of Clark and rightfully so but they stuck in there and thats what good teams do. In the end they ran out of stream but credit to Italy, they played decent. Technically we witness how well organized USA team is and although they deserved to be in the Confeds, I would of rather seen Costa Rica or TNT in there instead.

Lucky Italians this time, well taken penalty Dono! Rossi the backstabber, we feed this kid and he come back to bite we in the @ss

Oh and btw WTF EGYPT... SORE LOSERS MUCH? IT WAS A HAND BALL, END OF DISCUSSION.

LOL @! South Africa.. I never saw someone UNSCORE AH GOAL LOOLOL! CLASSIC EPIC!

And SPAIN LOOOKIN REL HARD EH FELLAS... Italy vs Spain = Dream final. Brazil there to make the numbers.

Football / Re: T&T vs Mexico performance.

Edwards didn't neglect his defensive duties against Mexico but it came at a price of him getting forward. We have players that can play upfront but limited on defensive ones. Mexico has alot of defensive options but lack a good man upfront like Borgetti(A natural goal scorer).

I was not impressed with Jones, he didn't do any defensive work in midfield and allowed Mexican defenders to walk out of their half unchallenged. That was depressing. Tinto, Ince, Birchall, Noel, Dog, Edwards all had good games and saved alot of face for the away team. I still think Mc Farlane is the man for us upfront. That Spann shot was suppose to go in and Birchall should of done better on the volley, he had all the time in the world.
Mexico scored a lucky second goal otherwise game was going to be a draw.

I was proud of the performance. At first it looked grim, scoring in the first minute? TNT didn't settle at all and Mexico was off to a flying start. It was clear our aim was a defensive one for this game because Latas knew Mexico would come at us.

Like before all we were missing was luck to get us the results we wanted. We are heading in a positive direction. We are not picking up points but alteast we are entertaining to watch once again.

I don't care as long as Dennis and Dog don't start. If Costa Rica can score on us at home imagine what Mexico will do to us in the Azteca.

And if Costa Rica lost in Mexico who in my opinion is a far better team what is our faith going to be like?

Well we all have our favorites. Here is my starting 11

         Ince
Hislop, Jack , Thomas, Avery
Tinto, Spann, Yorke, Samuel, Keon
         Jones

Note: Lawrence and Dog must be on the bench, esp Dennie, he looks far from been the defender we need.
Sometimes I wished we had defenders like Jamaica.

Mixed Emotions
This game will be played as do or die for both teams. Mexico and Trinidad both struggling in WCQ thus far and will be keen to get points when these two sides meet in Mexico City. Mexico recent run of form has their fans expecting the worse and a reviving, hungry TNT side is a very tricky affair.

TNT Scare
Mexico will not take Trinidad for granted after witnessing one of the game of the tournaments in Bacolet, Tobago. The Soca Warriors have new found energy and spirit that lifted them and tested the Ticos to they dying minutes in Tobago.

Defensive Troubles
TNT have suffered in three matches for their defensive blunders, previously young Aklie Edwards, Dennis and now Dog have all let their guards down and clearly showed panic in the back in tense times. We would like to see them hold their nerves in the future.

Wasteful Warriors
Three important games have gone without maximum points for the warriors looking back to El Salvador, a game the red, white and black should of won by 3-0 scoreline ended in a 2 all draw.
A similar performance saw the warriors trialing again Honduras at home only for Hyland to save face for the home team with a point. The worse game so far for TNT was away to USA, a place were we all witness the weakness of the defense in black and white. While TNT looked to recover against the Ticos, a team that was shaken up in Mexico found the right pattern and should us how to win on the road. Credit to them.

Mexico Elimination Close
Trinidad needing points and Mexico struggling, could this be the year the mighty El Tri fail to qualify for a World Cup? If TNT should upset the Mexicans it would certainly kill off the chances of El Tri qualification ambitions. Regardless of the result concacaf is in for one hell of a game in Mexico city.

Latapy Magic
It was clear against the Ticos that the warriors have found their rhythm once again and looked like the team we saw in Germany, fond memories glittered in our imaginary minds and the hope of a nation was present with a feeling of promise even in defeat. Latapy underlined his abilities as a manager against the Ticos and answered his question as a player when Hayden Tinto showed up to play wearing the magical number ten shirt we have come to love and cherish.

Whatever Happens
Trinidad and Tobago have proven that we are one nation that can play good football even if we lose in Mexico there is some great moments and games in this competition where this team was most fun to watch, well, atleast for me.

I was surprised Andrews got the start, he doesn't look fit. Dennis made alot of mistakes too just as he did in the USA game. I don't agree with Yorke been too old thou, he is the captain and the things you don't see with the naked eye sometimes is the gel holding it together.  Yorke is an entertainer, I would watch him play at fifty five.

I am really proud of TNT today. TNT showed alot of heart, today we saw two of the finest teams in concacaf and underlines Costa Rica abilities, credit to them. Both teams played really well, TNT needed a little bit of luck in the end.
fOR me, Avery, Edwards, Tinto all had good games. Costa Rica defended really good.

I can't wait for the Mexico game, sad but overall pleased with the performance, keep it up SOCA WARRIORS!

Just wow. WOWOWOWOOWOWOWOWOOW.

Paraguay 20- TNT 0
ITALIA 33 - TNT 0
EGYPT - 18 - TNT 0

The Scores
Italia scores 33 goals, the highest scoring match ever seen in a world cup.

AfterMath:
Coach Anton Corneal blames the players for the loses.

Conclusion
Anton Corneal looks for a better group of young players.
TTFA blacklists under 20 players for life.

I Don't Get It

After failing so miserably with the under 17 team, after embarrassing the entire nation, after disrespecting those young men, not only did the under 17 not score a single goal in qualifying but lost very very heavily in all of their three games.

TTFA WOW
Seems like you have to be a failure consistently for TTFA to hire you these days. Can anyone imagine how bad Corneal resume must look like? Can you imagine any football club or team that would hire this guy BESIDES TTFA?
Yeah sure lets give him THE MOST important job of building a young team for the future.

Enjoy the big six fellas, it might be our last! Lets see what TTFA does when no one wants to watch the National team.
