_2026, I think the part you missing is that the US is now 11 in the World. Did you notice how defensively England played against them in the last WC?

can't really complain too much. Eve was always going to park the bus [once we not playing Caribbean opposition] and do the same with 11 -- worse yet with 10. Plays with 10 defenders. Nominally,  if the lone 'striker' can bring a deep Telfer (or sub Williams) into the play that is where we tend to catch a couple teams... or a couple of other variations of that.
A real small island brand we playing against the big guns.
I get it to start a game for the most part..but what I don't get is how there is never any on the fly variation -- no overload...no, this stanza of the game we will switch it up a little, make some observations, then fall back into this. I guess if Leo could do similar at a whole WC and we forever hail him, then why not Eve right?

well all that oil to fry the bara will give you cholesterol instead (of high sugar)!! :) i could be wrong, but i think even the split peas recipe call for flour (gluten?) to hold everything together. Eddoes (yauita) and yam (yuca) and ting does raise the sugar too? [i put the spanish names so you might be more likely to find in the hispanic isle or spanish grocery store).
Sorry I didn't answer the question, but hopefully my words were better than silence :) [somebody else turn].

Hackshaw had a good Nations League, Preacher. Lots of fingers to point otherwise so after Eve, it hard to begin. Russel Jr and Alvin Jones, I like their attacking flair, but those dudes can't defend...particularly crosses. [Imagine I missing Shannon Gomez now]. Aubrey is our best..and that is a sad thing.
Anyway, I happy for the games, and am not looking fwd to what a full strength US squad will do, given we got 6 from their B team.

i like the Telfer - Moore combination. Telfer falls back and creates really nicely.

well even if they qualify second to Panama, they'll face the lower ranked of Mexico or USA in the quarters. Who wanna take bets on that matchup?

good job players! Fairly even match that could have gone either way. Guatemala ranked lower than us (more Kudos for the Curacao & El Salvador victories) and we haven't lost to them in 5+ games dating back before 2015. Having said that, happy for the games against really fitting opposition. Happy for the show of improvement as the game wore on. Hopefully keep going from strength to strength.  :beermug:

watched the aek game this week which they drew at home to Ajax. Levi didn't play and they say out inured for about 3 weeks? Hope for good recovery for him cuz AEK had many man shots on goal and only a 1-1 draw to show for it [I'm pretty sure Levi would have ensured at least one more of those went in].

good that youth got the opportunity. very glad for him, but hopefully he was not that #8 who was jogging around the park, strolling back on every goal highlight...else we might be hearing bout Tiger Tanks 2 seasons down the line.

umh. not sure what i learned this match. good for kristian lee him that he got a second chance, which i don't think he seized either...but also didn't play himself out of another look or two. Hackshaw and Muckette just play negative passes all the bloody time man. (almost ready to call it quits on Hackshaw, depending on age). Again I like Telfer and Moore up top, I think they feed off each other well and if they get used to each other Telfer would pass the ball more often, fall into a more creative role.  Auvray does try to do too much sometimes -- need a coach to encourage him to make a nice pass after doing all the good work. Andre Rampersad growing on me fast - workhorse. Have to go back on my opinion that our use for Aubrey done, cuz even though the mistakes still there, look like the back need a marshall like him. Good job Natty, still raw but hopefully improve with more minutes...even let him start next game [bring on malcolm shaw?]. I think I good on Andre Raymond: still young so time to improve, but not deserving of NT callups imo. Get fit R Russell Jr! did the ask on overlapping runs as well as decent defending. Dan Phillips remind me of Eve. I hope he keep improving, but i realize I might not be fully appreciating his defensive role, though i do see the scrapp in him. wish we could use this phase of the league to see some more young players.

2026, the only fwd I really would give him a pick over from the list is Judah Garcia (basically injured for the whole year not great stats). I think your previous comment shows that you appreciate that 3 goals in 26 games czech league 2 doesn't make you a walk on to the NT. But keep striving Justin, don't just scrape on. Strive for your club and when it is undeniable that you make TnT you will bring so much more value. You ripening good.

I am absolutely awful with faces, but I swear I noticed Alyssa Nicols, from this article in one of T&T U-15 games... but checking the ever-dependable Wired868 for lineup and referee information , realized that I saw Anya Voigt (whose no-nonsense style I really liked) instead

game was free on Concacf Go website last night (as for all the tournament). I think we ended up losing 2-1 to Honduras. The boys played the ball on the ground pretty well, but were not good defending and executing corners or handling (defending against) or delivering crosses. Didn't seem like any adjustments in formation are on the cards, so I assume will be just level licks for the rest of the tournament(?). #5, #10 and #11 were notable in attack / control [names were not on jerseys, so a squad list would be nice].

I hear u Seeker. Seems to me like the owners at AEK are serious about a European run for this squad and aren't going to let Levi go easily as he's an anchor in the team. Should be a win-win for them as Levi would have a larger window. I hope he works hard and steps up to the challenge. Best of luck Levi!  :beermug:

forgot who I heard recently describe ours as sibling rivalry w/ Jam Down, but i'm glad they made it. I'm watching the tournament in spanish, and they fear them. Will be glad for them if they make it to the final and especially if they lift the cup. That will only open up respect for our players across the caribbean.
