I posted last month that DL will not leave on his own as he wont be paid out. However, if he is fired for the poor results, he can still mount an argument to leave with something in his pocket. DL has tainted his resume with the string of poor performances. I doubt that he will be given a head coach position again by any club or national team.. unless Anguilla or a team of that elk comes calling.

My guess is that if Wallace wins the election, Hart will be back. Time is limited. So we need someone who knows the team, the culture and the processes, and can get the team prepared for the Gold cup qualifier. The learning curve will be too high for someone who does not possess that knowledge. I have a premonition that we will be facing Guatemala or Guyana for that Gold cup spot. Hart got it right and figured out Guatemala for us. I got faith that he can do it all over again.
i donít think hart will come back. he has a good gig in canada heís getting paid on time he has all the tools he needs to accomplish his goals, come back for what, to deal with the carenage crew and the cash strapped federation and all their misgivings? I seriously doubt it.

You have something personal with Carenage ah wha?  Daiz de beginning and end of all that ails the NT?!
yes i do, so what of it?
Get a life and stop totin. Carenage produce best brand ballers doh be mad.

Update: JJ with an assist on Seatle's 2nd goal.

Something must be going on with he and tallest behind the scenes. Musse ah anti-Carenage ting ???

So Samuel merits his national team selection on continued promise rather than on actual playing time? How is this justified when he sees limited action even during the Ascension tournament? He didn't even play in Rangers 10-2 rout of Matura. How is this consistent with stated expectations?

I suspect the answer will go something like; well he attached to a club and in the past we fielded several unattached players regularly. So on that note he easily merrits a call up if the coach believes he has something to add to the team

Imagine @ 35 Zlatan telling them that.  One thing about him, he is loaded with entertaining ways of expressing himself. MLS needed a villain and he fits the role perfectly.

He's actually 37.
Dat make mls look even worse

Scorpion, I beg to differ. Not everybody can handle the MLS. Gerrard, Lampard, Drogba and many more never light up the MLS. But Beckham, Zlatan and Bradley Wright-Phillips did well.

All 3 yuh mention either had very little gas left or didn't care that much. David Villa make mas same way and was never really great save for a 2 year stretch. Rooney also doing well and have loads of miles on them legs.  MLS decent and daiz about the size of it.

I donít understand why he has isolated boatswain, that lad had some potential and looked dangerous every time he plays yet he sticks with one dimensional winchester and Nathan Lewis who in all his competitive starts canít find a single goal. he has all but ignored Greg Ranjitsingh who Iím sure is much better than the two goats we have, when will he give the lad a shot? itís things like this that infuriates me about dennis lawrence.

Dan now I know fuh sure you on shit!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
he looked more likely to score than jamol and winchester thatís for sure.
I will give you that one lol. I remember Botswain looking promising making people talk rubbish about him replacing KJ. And just as quickly as that talk start it boil dong like baghee. Botswain looked like he could develop into something similar to KJ but all it was, was potential. Nothing more, nothing less!

Haiti making the region proud, if Jamaica handles Curacao with reasonable goal difference they can win there group. We are a complete embarrassment with no points, -8 goal difference sitting comfortably at the bottom of the group.

Group only? We not bottom of the tournament yet? who lower dan we?

Lawrence has a terrible record, and I really wanted him to do well having been mentored by Martinez for so long, but alas we don't have Belgium quality players

But isn't he playing like Martinez in the earlies? Sideways and backwards, but very limited going forward.

In the earlies with which team(s)?

That's what I wondering. If is anything, Martinez has consistently been criticized for being TOO focused on attack. From de start in League One his Swansea side was pouring in goals.

Man remember how people was raving about Scotty under Martinez in the Championship? For 2 Years str8 Scottie was unstoppable and Swansea was pressha. In fact wasn't it Martinez who got them promoted and then Wigan hired him? Memory lil fuzzy and doh feel like googlin it lol

Why do you give DJW such an out? This entire debacle is DJW's making. He's an ignorant narcissist, not content of being master of his own domain, dragging down T&T football with him. All roads lead from him - he's made such a shambles of our finances that no one would take the job without being paid from FIFA.

How am I giving him an out? When I just stated he is a sell out? Heís controlled, say what you like, but thereís no president that stands to make profits from a losing team, unless betting, bribery and corruption is involved. For donkey years we had super talented players without  a great coach to harness that talent and take them to the next level, we saw it with beenhakker and it was just a glimpse, we started seeing it with hart and then they destroyed that, deliberately

Iím not a conspiracy theorist and that word has been used to distract and lessen the truth and cover up the corruption
seriously mate sometimes you make me wonder about your sanity. I donít know how long ago you think hart was here so that weíve lost our memories of his performance especially in his last few outings, but I remembered it like yesterday. hart loss his last 8 games in charge and it seemed like he also was losing the dressing room with the carenage crew (jovin, cato, peltier and molino) losing interest in representing the country.

hart failed to qualify for the Copa centenario three times the last outing losing to Haiti in Panama.he also failed to qualify for the gold cup getting beat out by martinique in martinique, surprisingly he was given another chance to start the hex which he loss two games in a row which proven to be the straw that broke the camelís back. in all honesty i though DJW was very patient with him giving him time after time to get it together.

in the end hart was figured out by his opponents and teams actually found a way to counteract his method of approach which consequently rendered him winless in his last 8 outings. I believe if hart was winning DJW would have let him be to continue coaching the national team, but hart started losing very important games and Williams canned him, itís as simple as that.

You forgot to mention Hart was being undercut in plain view of all. He went winless in matches because he simply couldn't function when the DJW was bold enough to request an extra international match on a 3 (match I believe) tour that went from T&T to Asia in about 10 days.
hart had more to work with than most. next time you come to his aid think about coaches who had to deal with warner, like st claire, latapy, pfister, maturana, potterfield, whim risebergen and Hudson charles. these men had to make do without friendlies and high tech equipment, player unavailability, now for now call ups/ lack of preparation time, poor in camp accommodations, player selection interferences, and blacklisted players.

Not knocking hart he really was a good capable coach but somewhere along the way his players lost interest in playing for him and it showed in the results, I guess thereís nothing much a coach could do about that. IMO hart had it better than lawrence ever could. sometimes a good coach just has to weatherthese kind of thunder storms and keep on keeping on.

Dan you talking so much bullshit I doh even know where to begin.  Maybe yuh was on vacation when DJW was up to he bs shenanigans that had a direct impact on Harts ability to get the best out of his players. You acting like Hart was some run ah de mill shithomg that people romanticizin smh!

While some ah allyuh does feel Contro mad, there are a few things that completely changed or affects the quality of our football and all under DJW watch.  Under DJW:

KJ was sidelined (likely for being vocal on several issues)

Bostock went from interested to not at all.

Hart was indeed sabotaged with a combination of interference and lack of support. Despite some not liking him for their own personal reasons, none can deny the football was better.

Ranjitsingh has been continuously neglected for years while playing at higher levels and performing better than the mainstays on our team

Saintfete was hired as Hart's replacement!

Match fees cut and even cut rate not being paid affecting morale and interest in representing

TTFA board circumvented on numerous occasions therefore allowing DJW to operate as he sees fit

All of these things happening under the same regime and negatively affecting our football is hard to be seen as coincidental or incidental occurrences.

If there is a positive to takeaway, based on the highlights, it would appear our defense was up to the challenge. There were hardly any clear cut opportunities from either inside or outside the box in the clips. Maybe someone who actually watched can better assess.

Comfortably? I very much doubt, but I can see them competing. I think is a slightly downward move, but it doesn't mean that it isn't a good move for him all things considered.

Watch a few games and I bet yuh think different. In form Sounders beating most of those teams with no problem

Lateral move. Hope he get improved wages as a result nonetheless

Was it a lateral move when he went n the other direction?

To me yeah. I think Sounders could compete with and beat many of those Bundisliga teams comfortably. MLS and Bundisliga 2 on par, in fact MLS might just be better.

Again our defending to be blunt,is shyte, and in total agreement with the post above,we cyah hold a ball for 5 seconds.Honduras Under 17 are much more mature than ours.Let's be honest and say our home grown coaches are not what we need,we need foreign, full 'rass clart' stop.I am wondering if we are not wasting resources on these Under 17 and even under 19s,at 17 we still like 12 year olds, just listen to how we talk compared to foreigners.

That is shit talk. No warm up games whatsoever but you expect them to cope and compete in every game? That is Stern and KJ fault? You think they can teach proper defensive composure, positioning, and awareness with no matches to see how well players are adapting? You think competition is when kinks get ironed out? Steups! Even a foreign coach would be screwed in this set up so stop with dat dotish talk and place blame where it belongs on the federation that isn't doing anything! You ready to cast away our next generation of ballers for something that they have no control over? The difference between what they are accustomed to and international football is night and day. Yet somehow you want them to be better than the environment they being brought up in? I just doesn't understand these rants nah smh.

Don't know if I'm in the minority or not but to me Tim Kee did a lot with very little and helped brought our programmes back to life. So for me I have no opposition to a return of RTK. I used to read the complaints about him wondering if people were really considering the hurdles he had to doing his job.

Kenwyne Jones should have never retired, we don't have a strong or true center forward ........

Never miss the water til the well run dry! All these years people dogged KJ and now we actually missing his presence. What ever happened to Botswain who was supposed to be of a similar mold but supposedly more tools in the box?
