You know, if we don't qualify for the World Cup I will blame Molino. Everything was going fine until he decided that he wanted to go boat rides. SMDH. Ruined the team.

Anyone else concerned about this USA vs Guatemala game.  All USA have to do is win.  Why is it so hard.  Making the group unnecessarily complicated.

What makes you think the USA is good? They have very little talent. Most Central American teams are more technical

Come on lets me real. They are better than what they played tonight. Shocking stuff from them. Embarrassing really. I would say they not making the hex but they will... some how or the other. NO way Fox and co. are loosing all that money. Sadly Trinidad has a harder job now. Guatemala has a better goal difference than us I believe. We have to murder SVG come Tuesday. And we have to beat Guatemala at home too and not loose to USA by too much in USA.

Fire Klinsmann for what.  Americans are unrealistic about their talent pool.  All their players want to run away and play in the MLS because they don't cut it in Europe.  Then they are surprised when their quality is falling.  They are going to make the hex, and win it.  What more do they want from him.  When he got the team they were not even doing that.
They are not world beaters because they don't have any real outstanding talant.  They like to take young players and hype them up (Freddie Adu,  Brek Shea anyone) until they crash and burn,  how many times have we seen this.  And they are doing it again with Zardes , Wood and Morris.  No one is next great American hope until they sign a contract with a top 4 English,  Spanish or German side and start consistently (not as GK) .  Landon Donovan could not even cut it at Bayern and he is their best player ever.  Being proud of  'murica can only get you so far.  They need skills. The only American with that natural skill is Dempsey.  They try teach talent too much.  You either have it or not.

I agree that the money is from the people of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago and not any Government minister.   And if they did secure money from MOS I don't see they need to thank them publicly everytime.  It is a national team.  The ministry is supposed to provide funding and make sure our guys are comfortable while they represent the country.  If they get corcorporate sponsors then they can go out of their way to thank them. Also as far as I knowknow if CNMG facilitated the deal then that would be the ministry of communication (or something like that)  and they can be thanked and praised for supporting the team since it is not the job that ministry to promote sports and the minster could have easily put the money towards something else.

Like David villa is also getting 60k but that's not all he is getting.  I think he gets a portion of club earnings.  I'm they value Kevin I am sure he is getting something else to sweeten the deal. Not  They saying David villa level or anything  but they are going to know Kevin will attract deals from Europe.  They won't want him to leave so early in. If he is getting that alone.  I will be surprised

I am disappointed that Orlando best attacker (Molino) is only getting $60,000 a year while Kaka making over 7 mill.

Kaka who's won a world cup, a champions league, serie A titles and a La Liga title with close to 300 appearances in Europe with Milan and Madrid and over 100 goals also 89 caps with Brazil and 29 goals it's such a shock to you that he's on those wages?

I agree Kevin's contract should be higher but that's for his agent to sort out but the comparison is stupid.

That's what a lot of MLS players make.  Also, although that's their official salary the club will give them stuff. Not sure if they are allowed to give them money but it usually adds up to more. At least that's what I understand from it.

It's a bit difficult to gauge the level of play of either team.  I am waiting for them to play teams like seattle, LA and new england.  It's hard to say if they are a good teams when they haven't been tested against the best.

Kevin Molino is trending on twitter right now. Comments are all positive.  Good game so far. Orlando looks stronger to me. Really like their style of play. It's going to be hard to stay faithful to Seattle this year.

This was a friendly in name only. Very good game to watch.

Klinsmann is really really trying to showcase Yedlin so Tottenham would have a little more faith in him, which is why they went with this formation. But that #23... he is just not ready to play with a back 3 alone. he did nothing the second half, give Yedlin way too much to do. That might work Omar Gonzales in that position. And Bobby Wood needs to stay home. He must be really impressive in training because this is the 3rd time I have seen him play and he still sucks. I swear the only player with potential to be great is Yedlin. I hope Tottenham doesn't ruin him.

If they play this team in the Gold Cup... we got a chance if we draw them.

Such a massive show of disrespect.  Should have never signed for the club if he didn't want to be there.  I would boo him every time he stepped on the pitch for nycfc if I were a fan

MLS is  not that bad. There are some teams that are more exciting than others and I'm sure if they did good television coverage the game out look more exciting. I've always had a problem with how they present the product. The audio, the camera angles and announcers are all poor. I'm sure that Seattle Sounders, LA Galaxy and now New England Revolution are about as good as a middle table EPL teams.

Here's how they can improve their league

- Increase salary cap (pretty obvious)

-Better production for games (Announcers over explain things, quote meaningless stats. The cameras are too far, can never tell who ahs the ball, I hate hearing the sound of the ball and even in noisy stadiums they don't let you hear the crowd, they don't do slow-mos , nothing just bland production and I find American accents extremely annoying when listening to commentary and they aren't witty like English commentators either. just awful).

-Stop acting like players on their last legs are stars. ( the world laughs at the them when they do this).

-Stop Adidas sponsorship. ( Some might disagree but the kits look similar to me and Adidas makes some boring kits  to begin with) No team has a strong identity except maybe Redbulls and Seattle.

Stop the Conference non-sense. I saw Seattle play LA five  times in one season in regular MLS play. What is the point of that. Why can't they play each team Home and Away. Teams in the West will always have a it harder to win the Supporters Shield because that conference is much  harder.( for those of you that don't know, the Shield is given to the team with the most points at the end of the regular season) When you have to play LA, Portland, Salt Lake five times, meanwhile some teams in the east have to play lame teams like Chicago, Toronto, Columbus and DC it's no wonder the Eastern teams win the Supporters shield more often. Also the playoffs are unfair because the teams are harder in west and teams from the east just need to be good enough. They should make brackets that mix from east and west to decide the Championship.

No more expansion draft- By having new teams pick from an already talent deprived pool just makes the talent even more diluted. New teams, sign new players and trade when the window opens like normal. How stupid is it that teams have to submit a list of players 11, that they want to protect from being drafted to Orlando or NYCFC. You could end up loosing a valuable player.  Like Portland didn't protect Ricketts ( their starting Goal Keeper) and he was taken by Orlando. Why couldn't Orlando  just buy a  new keeper.

No more games during the International Window.

The commissioner needs to stop arguing with Klinsmann. Jurgen doesn't give a damn and the commissioner is just there arguing over everything he says. At the end of the day America is not a country with footballing knowledge, no one respects the commissioner (not even in America) but people do respect Klinsmann.

That's just my take on what I've seen from watching and following MLS.
