So u guys saying that the commentators picking on him cause he Black?Thank you!
or
Allyuh picking up for him cause he black?
I saw the highlights of both games. This guy is way to excitable and error prone.Where did we find this keeper?
He played in de SSFL with Carapichaima and he was in the squad that went to the 2009 U-20 World Cup in Egypt.
I just watch the highlights of the mexico 7 we collect.. every single goal was an assist by our keeper.. keeper shitty to bad ... wey boi how come no one eh bring this up yet.... I cya remember di last time I see bad goal keeping suh...Agree completely. The goalkeeping was horrendous!!!
war
Absolutely right!!!Is it me or is Mertesacker unconvincing? Wenger really need to get an adviser when buying central defenders Cygan, Squillachi, Senderos and now Mertesacker
He's grown on me still not my idea of a great centre back but he does a job and keeps it simple ... still of the opinion that as long as we get back our wingbacks his day as a starter is numbered. I think in Kos and TV we may have the best two central defenders in the league and considering the work theyre doing as wingbacks as well .. in terms of versatility they are second to none!
That man clearly not able at this level anymore.Good lord; Arshavin is shite!Sell him to Anzhi!
Oxalde-Chamberlain was the best player on the field in the Carling Cup game. Why is Wenger playing Arshavin above him?
Ship him out with Anelka! If Arsenal had gotten something from Walcott today Arsenal could have at least gotten a point. Rick James was making some nice runs but Arsenal couldn't put pressure on Walcott's side to work that City defence.
Totally agree with you there. Theo was anonymous. I was hoping he would have more of an impact second half but once Arshavin came on I knew it was game over.
which is a hell of a thing to know as a fan...the players know it too make no mistake. all these cameos arsh getting i hope some club side mad enuf to take him in january.
all i have to say is this:Great post!
we are all just fans, we do nothing that directly affects the team and how they play, maybe if we are actually at each game screaming our heads off.
BUT
buying a shirt and backing "ah bess side" doesnt give ANY of us the right to shit on another human being for solely backing another side.
be it banter or picong should remain team/player/manager focused and NOT directed at the supporter.
the quicker we realise this and do not engage tollerate and teach the younger one how to be real FOOTBALL fans the more fun we will have. now i a man cant take talk about his sides performance thats his problem and should take up golf
just remember, nothing lasts forever, manu fans in particular will find that lesson the hardest to learn simpy because of the great heights they have been lifted to by thier manager and the players he controlled NOT by wearing a shirt and shouting glory glory man united. i have alwayssaid i like manu the club an drespect thie rachievements i do not like how thier fans treat other supporters of other clubs. wlcome to the beginning of the end of an era
oh yeah....we have a trini gunners group on fb also...check it outWhat is the group name?
Paging SOBRIQUET, come out from wherever you are hiding! The boys are looking for you!He looking for a new team now![]()
Big Up!
Ferguson is ah ass..I was a Man U fan but this turn me against Fergie and Man U
Yorke get shown the door far too quickly, if it was any one of his british boys like Butt, Neville, Keane they woulda get a longer rope.
Yuh cyah be telling big man like Beckham and Yorke how to live dey life, once they producing on the pitch it shouldn't matter.
Imagine the man fling a big player like Jaap Stam. Steups.
Very well said. The truth is if we put away half the chances we have and stop coasting we would be much better. They were clinical in 2 games for me last season and they had alternate results because of their mentality.
It's not an attack/defense thing, but I will agree that the attack has a lot to do with it. Oftentimes last season, I have commented during games that Arsenal needs to stop playing with their food. They are usually in complete control of a game on the field, but not on the scoreboard, and (much like this weekend with NY) they piss away chances until the opposition scores (usually a lucky goal or a set piece). I think this is why Wenger looks at attacking players more. He knows it's not enough to dominate, everybody can get scored on, but you need to be able to make your dominance count. I don't count preseason games much, after all, Van Persie spent most of his time trying to nutmeg a defender. Not exactly a focused effort.
One of the things this team does, that the invincibles era did not, is slow down their game. When Arsenal went down a goal in the Highbury days, they didn't change the attacking philosophy, it didn't become more direct, they just did it faster and faster so that the opponent was run ragged and then the killer blow was applied. This team likes to get into a lead and then coast. It's the coasting that's killing them, not the offence or defense.
Just my 2 cents.
Pennywise and pound foolish.Yuh mean.....Pound wise and silver foolish!
I think he makes a good point. If they got rid of the running clock then everyone would know the final whistle comes a 90min period.this isn't sour grapes because I have raised this point before but why does FIFA leave time keeping to the reff and 4th official???
Too much room for error and space for accusations of cheating or favoritism
It should be like in basketball the reff only blows a whistle for action on the field period
Refs catch their ass to see everything as the game goes on farless what time it is how much to add etc
Why won't FIFA do they things that will increase integrity to the game?
What exactly are you complaining about? There were two very long delays caused by injuries to both Carroll and Carragher. I was actually surprised there wasn't more time added. Then on top of that you had two more delays in added time... one for Arsenal's penalty and then for the Suarez free kick. Time keeping definitely wasn't a factor in this game.
I hoping for the best vs Barca...but if we hadda get we cutarse...take it early and concentrate on the Carling, FA Cup and League...in that order.I agree with your last statement. Clearly this season he has not had guys playing injured. He has been protecting every player until they are fully recovered. I expect Nasri to make a miraculous recovery before the Barca game.
If Squillaci or Kosielny get injured now what?
We were always short in defence and he ent buy nobody when clearly we lacking big time.
Under all kicks...Vermalen and Nasri coming back good as new for that Barca game...he keeping them two quiet.
I agree with yuh Small MagWhat a waste! Torres shoulda stay up in anfield....he only givin' way de ball and like he 'fraid to take on dem defenders!
LOL typical shithong fan
the man play 45 minutes in a brand new team, new formation, new pressure against a team that playing a 5-4-1 formation and locking down space and you have the audacity to say the man fail the club already
haha allyuh are the greatest... embarrassing too
Don't bite off more than you can chew young Jedi.We missed an opportunity to get closer to manu, they lost to wolves
They still have to face chelses and us
you laughing? with all your flair and knock knock knock allyuh blow a 4 GOAL LEAD buddy..4 !
We will never do that... how much times allyuh lost for the season.. 4 or 5 times?
And us? The team we beat 5 times in a row? that us?
If yall win the league I will stop watching Football... Chelsea are the team that will finish either ahead or behind us... I can bet my life
That is not offside because he is behind the ball. You couldn't be more wrong on your interpretation of the offside rule.Seriously FA? That's what passes for onside? That's what passes as an official?
f**k you
To be fair The ball was played back by the Arsenal defender to Saha technically becomes onside. Seldom called because it happens so fast, but its the right decision.
On another note I hope the FA look at Arteta faking he got stamped and rolling all over the place. Everyone seems to be in on this act and it needs to be addressed
Ah waiting! What is the offside law? I know Saha was in an offside position when the ball was played. So take it from there and explain!
Ah doh want to get in the middle of this...but from what I know...as long as the player was offside when HIS team mate passes the ball to him, it does not matter who touched it before he receives the ball, he is still offside. But let say the Arsenal defender controlled the ball and then he attempted to pass the ball back to his keeper, then the offensive player is no longer offside. In this scenario, the ball hit the defender and end up at the feet of Saha who was already offside, even before the defender touched the ball, so he is in this case was offside. Hope this is clear, if I am wrong then someone needs to explain it to me too
Big Up!
Understood, but their is a difference between touch it and played by.
So are you saying that the defender "played" the ball to the forward? I think that's like saying if the ball had reached in the box and the keeper picked it up, then it would be a back pass...no?
I see it as a continuous play and if the forward was initially offside, then he is still offside...the defender has a right to try and prevent the ball from reaching the forward...the ball bouncing off his foot and then going to the already offside forward makes no difference.
How many times you see a keeper punt a long ball up and a defender jumps up for the ball, the ball hits his head and goes to a forward and the whistle blows for offside? It happens all the time.
Big Up!
or how bout a keeper passes a ball out to his last defender and the ball is intercepted by another player who was standing in an offside position.
Remember what happened with Nani vs Tottenham earlier this year where Gomez placed the ball on the ground and nani ran on to it and scored.
You couldn't be more wrong on your interpretation of the offside rule.Seriously FA? That's what passes for onside? That's what passes as an official?

This is why Arsenal wont win the leagueFollow your team!
Arshavan would frustrate the hell out of me if I was an Arsenal fan because he strikes me as a lazy and sometimeish player! He also comes off like he unfit and does bun after 6omins! I don't know if it is a Russian thing but Pavlochenco ( excuse the spelling) does come of the same way.Kinda like Berbetov too
Agree here. Mexico had him selected ahead os Chicharito showing that even they rate Vela higher. His problem is mental. He is lacking confidence and bite.Wilshire ... youth not bad but somehow I would prefer Rosicky instead the man does work hard and have vision and technique to burn..
Fabianski has done well I have to admit but I would prefer the other keeper but because they're so close together they will keep each other honest.
agree with this! would also like to see arsenal sign a DM, because denilson doesn't seem a good fit for the role. if song is injured we in trouble. my guess is that wenger won't sign one and wait on the return of frimpong.
but as you mentioned Vela, what is your opinion of him?
I actually rate Vela good speed and touch could finish too but ...... he is a confidence player (like most players I imagine) my thing with him is he tends to drift in and out of games alot and if the game isn't going Arsenal's way he won't be the one to turn it ... I guess he is not a difference maker so to speak.
To be fair to him he has not gotten enough games but I question whether he would be able to produce in big games... to me with him is all mental because he has more ability than his counterpart in man united yet chicha tends to make better use of his chances and Vela does not
