Bakes and mango careful with the wording ---Chelsea is only disciplining Ashley cole  over his twitter remarks about the FA and violation to club policy because as a result of the since subsequent fa charge he could find hisself a ban (worst case scenario ) or even a fine and this would set Chelsea back in the fair play standings which although meaningless ultimately is not something any reputable club would like....by you guys wording and context cole is being dealt with by his club for "his evidence in the case" -----I believe JT is not a racist but he did make a racist remark in anger out of the heat of the moment in a tough DERBY game with his side already up against it (2 red cards and a goal down and some piccong could bring out anybody bad side) ----yes he should have been reprimanded albeit sooner and yes he should have just admitted that it was a lapse in thinking of which everyone is entitled to but would have been expected of him especially with his past lol .

On another note I have to say Robbie di Matteo has gone about his job well. You can see he is managing to do what avb wanted to do more efficiently because he holds a relationship with his players . Frank Lampard is not a guaranteed starter at 34 but more someone who is used when we can utilize his best and he understands that. Youngsters like Bertrand and oriol romeu are slowly being blooded in....I even believe in preseason our young Belgians lukaku and de bruyne got enough playing time to make an impression for the future (Robbie told them its best to get games under ur belt on loan and they took it on the chin and both look forward to next year)
It's not the finished article yet but when you figure that with the bright starts that Oscar hazard and mata are having and we still have the exciting Marin and Moses  and sturridge to step in as wingers/forwards (which we craved for a while since duff n robben) Chelsea has all te tools to mix it up and play intricately through the middle or I utilize the wings . And while El Niņo isn't back to his best 4 prem goals so far I believe has him top of te scoring charts in the early days or thereabouts ---long season to come so let's just hope he sustains a decent rate at this pace and he could very well end up with 20

Alyuh good yes when inter get past barca wit tht football every dy cheer Jose ....but like he said those who downgrade what Chelsea accomplish have no idea of fighting wih ur back against the wall against the odds and triumphing feels like !!

I only wonder tho if it was Trinidad vs spain would alyuh say d same thing

yeah hard luck for the bayern players ....really was a worse loss than in barcelona to man u....that game they could have closed it out and didnt but this game they could have closed it out in regulation....extra time...and spot kicks after mata miss first....when god is in your favor it does go so sometime.....we all knew what kind of team bayern was but i am saying y would people just disregard chelsea a team that held its own agaisnt barca at the nou camp with 10 men ( and one recognised CB) .....yes bayern outplay chelsea but to discredit a team that had 5 suspensions ....injury issues to its camp and requiring 2 youth team players to help make up its traveling party in case they cannot field a 18 man squad and playing IN THE HOME OF THE OPPOSSING TEAM you hadda be ah relll sour fella  :beermug:

Great Final tho WE R THE FAMOUS CFC

TO the chelsea faithful WE ALL KNOW THE EMOTIONAL ROLLER COASTER it is with our team but TIMES LIKE THESE WE HAVE TO CAPTURE IT AND SAVE IT....IN OUR LIFETIME WE HAVE SEEN OUR CLUB ACHIEVE HISTORY.

yes the best team doesnt always win ...yes we really lucky but havent we been so since the last league game against valencia? YOU NEED THE RUB OF THE GRAIN IN YOUR FAVOR TO WIN THIS CUP ....and NO ONE CAN DENY THAT WE HAVE SIMPLY NEVER HAD THAT TILL NOW ....so to those who try to minimise the feat of UPSETTING THE BAVARIAN GIANTS a 4 TIME WINNER AT HOME WHO PLAYED US LIKE BARCA DID BUT lacking efficiency in front of goal i say SOD OFF!!!....when T&T manage a draw with sweden in Germany (our only REAL chance being the cornell glen shot off the bar) alyuh didnt call our team all these names....so y be haters when another team get a upset done!! SPORTS IS MADE FOR MOMENTS OF UPSET otherwise if the favorite always win it would be boring!

GOd is good though !

GLad the boys finally got the win now on to conquer the World Club Cup and we would have won every trophy capable for the club to have won in its history....a feat alot of other HISTORIC WINNERS havent achieved

the new ozil? truthfully he was talked about BEFORE ozil in germany.....Ozil was considered a lil less than him when he was at schalke then Ozil joined him at Werder Bremen and Thomas Schaff threw Marin out on the wing and gave Ozil the prefered FREE  ROLE and Ozil blossomed...the rest as they say is history.... Marko is a VERY good player he can play on the wings but he is more influential behind the striker in the hole...yes he is a right footed Mata. Injuries hamper him this year but before the rise of Gotze in germany the belief was that Marin and Ozil were the best young creative germans for the manschaft . Not sure if he will make their euro squad but he is quality so i wouldnt be surprised if he was in it.

Good buy for CHelsea...young (23) and with bags of ability . good that they got him cheap and quick (6.5mil) hope we can lure Eden Hazaard to the club too

Just how good was Cech in goal repelling everything that came his way.. Especially the slightest of touches to put a Messi shot onto the post.

How good was Bosingwa, coming on to fill in at right back when Cahill got injured then having to fill in at centre half when Terry got sent off?

How great was Ivanovic throughout the entire game?

How good was Cole locking down the left?

How good was the discipline and defensive positioning of Mikel, Meireles and Lampard?

How good was Ramires, a beauty of a goal and solid filling in at right back.

How great was Drogba?

Kalou... As always constantly raising man blood pressure but at least he track back.

Torres, thanks for neglecting your defensive duties and liming up by the half line.

Bess fellahs, just bess!

How tremendously LUCKY were Chelsea?  :)
Times like this I wish there was a like button hahaha

lets all admit that to win this competition nowadays yuh HADDA have some sort of luck WITH YOU.....

as for QPR they should be taken lightly especially after claiming the scalps of Arsenal and Tottenham recently ....

THe best thing about today beside the performance wasnt the goal it was the fact that we kept the clean sheet.....we still know how refs favor barca at the nou camp and how easy it is for them to score or not miss the chances thy missed today at home so lets disregard our one goal advantage and consider that with a clean sheet we didnt give them any favor with an away goal then look for AT THE VERY LEAST a SCORE DRAW at the nou camp unless we take ah 2-1 lose at the camp nou but at 2-1 in catalonia who dares to bet against barca causing heartbreak....GREAT TEAM EFFORT

have to admit we have been very fortuitous with the calls of late and thinking back of 2009 vs barca i hope that we continue to be fortuitous oer the two legs....i would love to see us beat barca outright but their dazzling football aside everyone has to admit you need the ref not to be exactly HELPFUL to them when it comes to beating the catalan giants....they called this game BEAUTY vs THE BEAST last time around lets see how it plays out....wont be surprised if BARCA win but i am quietly confident in Chelsea ability to move through

david is right that in a aerial game is definitely not in barca strength but that would only be useful from the Corners.....as you notice we dont have proper wingers who can get down the wings and put in a DECENT cross ....furthermore Barca have Pique tall self to come and collect most aerial threats....its on Corners where he occupied staying with his marker that we can advantage the rest of the shorter squad....

The ONLY way is if we played like we did against Napoli at home in both legs .

there is no LW who can force alves to stay home like he had to 3 years ago when he faced Malouda and Cole .....and whilst sturridge or ramires can get down the right with relative ease what they do when they get there what they do with the ball has not been too productive as of late.

Not saying there is NO Hope but just hope that this truly is our season where we have the little bit of luck needed to get key results and finish with a great season.

wheyysss boy alyuh men REALLY RULE OUT CHELSEA QUICK?....i feel some of the MAN U fans would find it a hard pill to swallow if Chelsea beat barca considering that United failed to do so in their last 2 UCL meetings with the blaugrana....other than that lets all admit its been a while since we had 4 STRONG teams in the semis and the excitement from the games should be great....provided certain teams ont receive preferable treatment from the officials (even my own)

If United  have the refs in their pockets then Chelski have the lines people in theirs!

u make this after one dotish referee gifted us a goal??...in comparisson to the countless gifts howard webb and co give united? ....the ONLY other linesman decision in recent history i can think of that aided us was LAST YEAR against totenham...other than that what basis do you form your opinion on ? (not arguing just trying to hear your premises) ....

credit to wigan to me they were good opponents and really didnt eerve to lose but as we have seen in the past when the big sides NEED to win sometimes they pull it off in the dying moments

i Will say though in the PL and a few other games our suad has looked lethargic with the passing and thus allowed lesser opponents to come into games we should be winning comfortably...making hard work of what should be formalities has become a customary trait of our blue side

all of us watch villa score 2 in 3 mins and thought chelsea back to they old ways but credit to the team to keep fighting....Torres with the flick on for the assist to iva (even if he aint noe much bout it) and then credit to sturridge who resisted the urge to waste it and find torres to wrap it up.....we are now 5 points behind arsenal and two behind spurs who have a game in hand...but anything is possible this year in the league it seems.....arsenal still have to play city and us so if they lose those two games then we will overtake them and possibly even spurs too for 3rd...just have to keep fighting...

comfortable game today until the 75th when complacency sneak in but good finish .....bit upset with the FA and their decision regarding the Semfinal for the FA cup though

at this stage i am sure that alot of you will agree with me when we say once the team keep their confidence and positive play as well as locking up the defence we sure to have a strong run till season end....i somehow believe tottenham has run out of steam and will be the team missing out on that 4th place.

STudge needs to learn to square more rather than go for goal but i kinda understand how it feels he still have the mentality of a Striker and young as he is he still has that naievity that he could make it happen ...end of the day though i am glad to see that he has seen the field so much this year he serves as a example to mcecharan and kakuta as to what they can achieve once you prove in a top league that you deserve first team football.

what ah turnaround to the season it would be if Di Matteo could pull off the FA CUP and a UCL final appearance/WIN ..cause honestly speaking as much as i respect AVB he just was one too young too soon and doing too much..

That source about the players liking Roberto less is not true.....If anything they like Roberto MORE because he was a player himself at chelsea and knows how it is to be in a pressure cooker atmosphere to perform at a club with expectations....even more so because he unlike avb INTERACTED WITH ALLL HIS PLAYERS....from Cast aways to Unbtouchables.... Kalou to Terry they all spoke to Roberto. Roberto once gae a interview to CFC TV saying that he regularly speaks with the boys who dont start more than those who do because as a former player you know when you are not seeing the field you lose a bit of motivation and that was his task. ROberto has always been a excellent man manager and that is shown from all his clubs he has managed ....even more so last night where rather than put a STRONG starting lineup he put what even the commentators speculated to be a CUP lineup ...giving favor to those said players who usually arent considered the automatic choice and even when they came off the field like kalou did they didnt give their coach a fake shrug they thanked him for the opportunity.

Dont be surprised if these boys put in a strong push to the end of the season and try to make it seem like it was really ALL AVB fault. smh
regardless tho unless Roberto betters Avram and WINS the UCL he wont be offered the position.

Think we witness the nail in the coffin today for avb ....it's clear certain players are not buying into his plans and today was just poor individual performances ....not one player stood out today from the starting 11 and in my opinion Torres showed more endeavor in his 15minutes than a lot of these players showed in 90...sturridge today and those two chances made it clear we were not going to get a goal...mats surprisingly loss of touch in striking a ball ...drogba didn't Even shoot at goal ...malouda showed why he should be let go....fact is we as Chelsea fans need to face it our squad is no longer good enough....instead of managers the players need changing but such is football that I don't expect avb to last till seasons end

The problem I have with the penalty that Evra won is that he could have kept his feet and the ball. Once he saw Sturridge coming and felt the contact he didn't try to keep his balance, he just kept his feet planted and tipped forward.
Sturridge did not prevent him from making progress with the ball.  He chose to end the play by going to ground.
 :frustrated: I hate that shit.

Webb did United a HUGE favor once again.....somehow somewhere them have ah pressure button on he....was really not the best performance from us but 3-0 up you did two thngs hope we could prserve it and not rule out united....and cue mr Webb to assist with the latter. It is truly ridiculous how much pressure United Players put on refs and get away with it despite the "GET ON WITH THE REF" campaign.

sidenote Webb tried to be consistent but he didnt have a good game to me...young went diving in the box first half  and rather than award the freekick for simulation and the requisite yellow card he gave chelsea a freekick and young still didnt get a yellow card after he blatantly grabbed the ball expecting the penalty to come (which still requires a yellow card) .....this and other offences would have seen him sent off so idk y fergie expected cahill to recieve his marching orders.

Torres as a player was one of our better players on the pitch....as a ST though he was once again a man with no confidence.....the player with the least most confidence than him right now is de gea and y he choose to cut back instead of shoot on the volley shows his level right now....all supporters of chelsea can only hope that the phrase "Form is temporary class is permanent" is true when it comes to him in the striking department.

Y AVB didnt make changes to his LEFT SIDE ...i dont know....takin sturridge off after the pen  was retribution cuz he felt studge wasnt defending n when he went back to do it a pen came ....bt @ the same time he had evra on edge and on a yellow so y even dare to take him off if he not giving away the ball like MALOUDA OR BOSINGWA.......it is clear we need a player to do on our left wing what sturridge does on  our right (with less selfishness)

GOOD GAME FOR THE NEUTRAL THOUGH but for us fans it was pain
