Muckette was invisible, Why is fortune on this team? Molino was playing for El Salvador, Mekiel brain in his foot, Jones like a young old man. Best player was the keeper..

Any word on Hyland and Garcia, will they be back for the remainder of the tournament? If not, who will be the players to lead the attack? I’m hoping to see Lee get a start.

How the hell #4 made this team, and was captain? That man is rell shit!! He does not even look like a footballer with his over weight k foot ass. I hear they call him Tank at his club. The man more like a donkey cart. #3 kept getting beat, because he was out of position. #22 need to understand he is a GK and not a stopper. I’ll say it.. he’s shit too! Woo ling came on and did nothing.. Alvin.. well that man needed a run up long like a landing strip to kick a penalty that everyone saw where he was going before he even knew it himself. Muckette is a baller.. nice lil 1 touch and he kept moving in space. His team mates was not doing the same, so his efforts only lasted a few seconds before the US got the ball back. I know we will have better players soon.. just don’t let #4 back on that team ever again.

Manchester United owner Malcolm Glazer dies

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the American football club which he owned since 1995, announced the news on its website.

It said it was "saddened" to announce Mr Glazer had passed away this morning at the age of 85.

His death was announced by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers
He leaves behind his wife Linda, six children and 14 grandchildren.

Mr Glazer, who lived in Palm Beach, Florida, bought Manchester United in 2005.

Since then, the football club won five Premier League titles (2007, 2008, 2009, 2011 and 2013), as well as the 2008 Champions League title.

The Buccaneers described him as a "pioneering thinker" and "dynamic business leader" who "rebuilt the Buccaneers into a model franchise and a Super Bowl winner".

It added: "Known among his league peers as a pioneering thinker, Glazer infused his team and employees with the determination and dedication to be the best in the NFL.

"Glazer's commitment to building a championship organisation has provided the foundation for continued success, on and off the field."

General Discussion / Re: Dana Seetahal murdered

This is just plain madness occurring for a small nation with all these murders. I actually wake up everyday expecting to hear someone got murdered, hoping it's not any of my family members. Change the system of politics and only then you will see a change in the country. Only The Lord knows, if I had the funds, I would campaign for a change in the system. People continuously blame the government for everything, yet they vote for the same damn people over and over and expect something different when their party wins.. Madness!!

How about answering one of the questions Deeks.. I do not wish to run a damn party, and if I did, I would not want to be the leader for no more than 2 terms. The more I think about my post the more I realize how ancient the political system is in T&T. Even if people do not want to see other parties involved, the leaders of the main parties should be changed after a certain period, and not be allowed to be in power again. Bring in new blood, new ideas, and maybe we will see a difference in the country.

General Discussion / Political Parties and the future of T&T
« on: April 26, 2014, 03:09:41 PM »
I was thinking how much I miss home today, which lead to me thinking about crime, corruption, politics, culture, and the future of T&T.

The two items that stuck with me the most was the politics and the future of our country. I started thinking which government party was the best one to introduce modernized technology, better transportation system, policing techniques, poverty reduction, modernized schools with trained and motivated teachers etc. Which government party can make T&T a better place for the future of our children. Then I realized the answer was none of the the political parties.

It is said that Albert Einstein said "Insanity is doing the same thing, over and over again, but expecting different results.” not sure if he was the one that really said that, but that line makes sense to me especially when I apply it to our choosing of government leadership. We vote for the same people over and over and expect different results.

Why is our government set up in a way for us to vote for the same damn people every 5 years. I mean if I vote for UNC this year and the leader is Kamla, and at the end of the 5 years, I think that she was not the right government leader for T&T, so I vote PNM, but after another 5 years, I think that the PNM government was just as bad, so now I looking to vote back UNC cause its not like I have many to choose from, the problem is, Kamla is still the leader of the UNC. So it's either I vote a leader who did not get the job done 10 years ago or I vote back into power a leader that did not get the job done for the last 5 years.

Our country have the potential to be a top nation among nations small as it is with it's many resources. Its our leaders that are holding us back, and we as a people are the ones that are putting these people in power.

I don't expect you all to act like Mrs.Cleo, but tell me,
Do you all really see a bright future for T&T with this current political set up that we have?
Do you think the current set up can be changed if ever?
Will people be open for a change?
Do you think there should be a limit as to how long someone should be in charge of a party?
Do you see the current set up as perfect and no change is necessary?

P.S I think that that the political parties that we have divides the nation, and only a fool will pretend that they don't see that.

I just thought he could have atleast let the youth come out the drain lol There was really one way to hit him in there, and that was from top downwards, next thing you know, the youth get a bad blow in his head and die, and poor dad, who trying to teach his son a lesson end up without a son and doing life in prison.
