The boys deserved a point from that match! They had some good chances and Costa Rica had a few, however that was a brilliant goal by Ruiz. Now I see men pounding up Botswain....yeah he was offside alot, however he did have good energy and tried to do the right things. I like his selection by Lawrence, thought he should have started Hyland as he is our best centre mid.. Onto defence, we played decent.......however Cyrus way too slow and past his shelf life. Onto subs......... why oh why did you bring on Edwards .......way past his shelf life. You took off Jones, who was having decent game.

I think we can pull off some wins in the next couple games it would do alot for the teams confidence.

ps... Is Garcia injured ?

Within the last 4 years this is one of the better performances I seen from a Trinidad national team. Men trying to move around the ball, quick passing and overall looking okay. With that said there are numerous areas to improve upon. Our intensity is not what it should, especially when we "needed" the win !!

Trinidad have some good athletes, men that can run. Its rather disappointing when I see them not winning balls cause of "slowness". Not sure how we can overcome that, I know all them men does watch "Barca" and dem play, but is like they aint seeing why "Barca" so good........ movement and decisive passing!! Things to emulate!! Well done fellas!

That is some real backward behaviour by Pan Trinbago! Guess they rather have nothing televised than get som change to broadcast. I could understand if this event would have television broadcasters tripping over themselves to get the rights......an u trying to hold off for a lucrative offer... While other event progressing, we digressing !! One back of bull shitters..........I wonder who make these decisions an who advise these people.

I aint post in a while, and I for one am a Trinbagonian 100% . Jones shouldn't be on that list! Also even though Donavon only play in MLS and play toots in Germany, he deserve it, prob not 2 but definately in top 5!  All Friedel should be in that, Friedel is the best spurs player this season and was huge for them last season

The headphones and the man purse aint have nothing to do with it!! The problem is the heart and the commitment on the FIELD!! Trinidad players only fight a game when they losing in the last 15 mins of a game!! thats the onkly time they have urgency and apply any pressure!! It have nothing to do with style or head phones and thing.............
Men have to understand this is a job ........ representing your country ,if you cant give a 100% effort in prepation aka trainings / practice .....u shouldbr be on the field n if you cant give it on the field you sure as hell shouldnt be on the team!!Shabazz correct, men dont have heart!! Talent can only get you so far!!! Men coming in wid some sorf as butter half arse tackling.......waste of time!!

How u mean who determine this ? The coaching staff obviously? Thats the job of the coach...to determine the best 11 to play ! Was that a trick question??

If Trinidad and Tobago lose this game ............ we in a real sad state, no disrespect to Guyana. But we real sad if we cant beat Guyana on Friday and again on Tuesday.

I find Bruce damn right for saying that. I know is Sunderland he playing for , so u know chances are going to be hard to come by. Kenwyne just doesnt look hungry, his play is lax. For a player with his strength and speed he does not channel his pluses effectively. His play real fall off this year. On Sunderland squad is is regarded as one of their top players and as such expectations are higher on him and he has not lived up to it this year

And just because I criticise his play doesnt make me two face. I call it as I see it. I only watch Sunderland games to see him play........ n I support my Trinis anywhere......but fact is fact the man not living up to expectation and he have numerous attributes to get him there.

The man need to look at his game and ask himself ... Am I being the best player I can be? If he answer yes to dat..........boy he in trouble!!

I would have to agree as a playmaker XAVI is the best at his craft. He can dribble and his passes are spot on and he runs the offence for Barca!

Fletcher is a good midfielder and very important to United, however he is not in the top 10 playmakers!! If it was a list of defensive mids he would probably make the list !!

What makes this so special it's done on a Goalkeeper and the man scored,that's the heights of improvisation.

Yipe thas what makes it spectacular is a keeper get the tall cap ........... he could use he hands n he stil he it n the man score ..........sooo it is a great goal very embarasssing for the keeper!

Agreed; that would actually be an exciting match. We wouldn't have the typical European style of football on display against the South American style.

USA not playing good, THEY WINNING, big difference. If they meet Brazil it will be worst than the last time they meet. I looking for about 5 from Brazil.

I am not watching the match have to catch the replay.........but I not talking bout this match alone. USA does play some decent ball dread........ yeah they not on the technical levels as Brazil and dem big horse.........but they aint no shit side like some people claim they are. They are good opponents and they improving all the time!!

I find it hard to rest blame with a few individuals. Ince was MOM, Tinto was the best out field player with his 30 seconds of brillinace, which says alot for the efforts of the other players!! The team play tata !! Yeah they paly at 8000 feet above ground and it hard to beat them in Azteca .......... We were lucky cause anytime Mexico had the ball they got a shot ....... they real throw away chances, we lucky the score made us look good , cause we weren`t. Thank goodness for Tinto!

WAIT WAIT WAIT !! I see some men say we play a good game ?? This game compared to the Costa Rica game in terms of tactics and playing was like nite and day !! We play level SHAT from kickoff, yes I understand the Azteca is 8,000 feet above ground .......so men will ge buN quick, but I aint see anything from them. Dem Mexicans had FREE reign whole night...... We were slow to the ball, escorting players, ball watching!! We had like 3 shots for the entire game an 2 came from Tinto !! God bless his effort as he was energetic and is pure hussle from himself that made that goal !! So bigup Tinto..... I feeel the formation let us down bad bad bad...... not gonna talk bout defense as this is a known short coming , but the mids aint help out at all...... men chasing shadows whole game !!

Just want to make a simple point ... Beenie sorted out the defense issue we had ... got us to WC.  Defense always keeps you in with a chance to win games not offense.  You can score 6 but if you let in 7 you still lose.  As many have said in the forum ... we will not go anywhere unless we tightenup in the back ... we can't afford to let teams score more than 1 on us for us to have a chance.  Playing defense isn't pretty but we like to see pretty ... remember plenty people say beenie shoulda play latapy in WC ... if beenie didn't stick to his defensive strategy ... we would not have been so proud of our team ... no-one remembers the plays in a game only the score ...  Very surprised that Latas left out Birchall ... have no idea what the issue was ... but i always say is Birchall and any other 10.  Has been the most consistent player for me so far.  With that being said ... wish the team well in mexico ... tough place to play!


Horse BEENIE had the whole team playing defence , we were very defensive minded does not equate = good defense !! yOU Cant win matches without scoring goals or .......... as you may counter by leaking goals ! I will say we doing the best we can with what we have available.......... we need to shore up the defence yes, but we do need to score !  i DONT SEE WHO ELSE LATAS COULD USE AS DEFENDERS other than bringing some yutes like Julius James.....but they defence we have is the best defence we got !!

bUTTTTTTTTTT waitttttttttttt !! Trini defence is not very strong for the longest while!! Wham to allyuh, men like thye now start watching Trini play ! Our style of play last nite was of an attcaking nature and I was really impressed with how the game went. Yes , we Defence is not very strong, so I alwys expectring some lapses during the game!!

THIS IS THE BEST WE play in Qualifying so far, yes our defence is an will be our Achilles HEEL for some time to come .....however if we continue with this style of play and put in the goals ....... we will WIN matches! You could only work with waht you have and to be honest the men who play D last nite are the BEST we have to offer !!
