Football / Time for the World Cup ... there's a light at the end

At first ... sorry for my bad english

I feel very excited and happy, from now on we have only 18hours left, then our national team will face sweden in their first world cup match.

There are times, which have shown us, thatwe have to do more to go to the promise land, but this is our time.

Do you all remember some year's ago, one times the qualification für Germany in 1974 and then we passed our qualification for Italy 1990.

I'm sitting here in Hamburg, Germany.

"my country" as some friends say have won their match, so I have to be happy, but it's not the same.
Ok for sure, I live my whole life in germany and I'm happy about the match against costa rica, but my feelings going far away, to the other side of the world, the two islands which I call "my country".

We have gone trough good times and bad times, always standing behind our team and now we do the same thing one more time or 3 more times, the soca warriors have it in their mind, I'm sure about it.

So my friends it's midnight in germany, I will go to bed, because in 8 hours my train is going to Dortmund.

For some of you, which can't go to germany or which are already in germany and the national team I will pray in front of my bed.
I hope god will protect all of you
and I hope you will do the same for our believe in Trinidad & Tobago.

man, I see, we are all dying because we want to know how our jersey will look like ...

so, if somebody don't know, I have an e-mail from adidas in germany, a few day ago...

they told me that we have to wait a little bit longer, because of some license-technical problems, but we get it this month.

I think we will see it end of february against iceland.

I've booked a flight for dat match, a friend of mine and me we will receive Nürnberg on the 15th, 07.50 a.m.

all of you, who have registered these days I want to thank you, because you want to support the german soca warriors fan-club.

but I feel a little bit ashamed to tell the truth

At this moment we are 2 german's and 5 trinis.
it's an international fan-club, everybody is welcome, that is not the point, I think because it's a german page, for german, their have to be more germans, but that is no reason for all trinis to stop registering, I'm happy for every new member.

sometimes I read this, you can't say "gehen trinidad gehen" in german.
We have a big influence of the british-english or american-english language so you can say go warriors go in germany, everybode know what you mean, but there is no translation for dat

Sorry to say that, but in germany we havn't a real translation for "liming".
I've read what liming is, I didn't know it before some month's.
I don't know how to translate that.

the other words are....

"Where de Brazilian ladies liming tonight?"
" Wo ..... die Brasilianischen Mädchen (heute abend)?"

If set ... for liming.

Give me another word and I will translate it.
