Suarez given eight-match ban
Striker found guilty of racially abusing Manchester United's Patrice Evra

Suarez has been a key player for Liverpool so far this season
Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has been banned for eight matches and fined £40,000 by the Football Association after being found guilty of racially abusing Manchester United's Patrice Evra.
Uruguay international Suarez had an altercation with French defender Evra in the match between the two teams on October 15th.
Following an investigation, an independent regulatory commission announced on Tuesday that Evra's allegations against Suarez were proven.
Suarez has 14 days to appeal against the decision and if he does the penalty will be suspended until after the outcome.
In a statement on Tuesday, Liverpool said they reserved their right to appeal.
The club added: "[Liverpool] takes extremely seriously the fight against all forms of discrimination and has a long and successful track record in work relating to anti-racist activity and social inclusion.
"We remain committed to this ideal and equality for all, irrespective of a person's background."

the NAAA should stream the event? why would a body that done struggling for support pay several camera crews, a commentary crew, some techies and tstt with no tangible gains period? like I said they already doh have money... maybe if the trinidad public was more interested in the event and it sold out maybe just maybe a local station would carry the event and you could stream from them online.

What about Track & Field / Re: darrel brown
« on: May 26, 2011, 10:29:01 AM »
I find allyuh real crying down TC for real though, when the man just calling a spade a spade. A lot of people confuse patriotism or assumed lack thereof with a man quoting facts on this board, like for instance the man who say we crying down our athletes to big up man like bolt. That in fact is one of the reasons I doh post, men get really incensed and go off on a tangent.

But truth is truth, 1. all this focus on what Brown COULD do he hasn't actually done anything yet, and more or less in any event the standard we had measured his potential translating into future times still inadequate because no one foresaw the jump from 9.9-9.8 to 9.5 which is where we at right now. So even if he could make a 9.8 two years from now where u think that 9.5 time will be?

2. I feel too much time wasting talking about the current crop that fizzling out the shelf life on ave short for sprinters their time gone besides which, if i recall correctly after them men turn Pro, when certain men was trying to help Brown and even Burns run faster by advising them to do more 400s and participate in 200 competitions them fellas coast on the advice so they are where they want to be... but i digress... just now we ent go even have a proper relay if we can't get some 17-20yr olds to develop their craft to be in a 9.8 range NOW so that by time 2016 we on top.

And I saying this having trained and limed with both Brown AND Burns no malice towards either we tight, I hope they all eat ah food! looking back Brown shoulda stay in school longer maybe build up his core strength to not have been so injury prone, either way he'da have a degree to fall back on and by ext not be so illiterate. I feel Burns made the best of what he had though he could have been better had he listen to certain advices earlier in his career.
But neither of them going to do anything consistently if at all.

Hey guys I'm frustrated and looking to start over, I'm 25 no priors lol I've been in banking, adjusting and technology over the past 8 years, I work hard but I can't be spinning with no upward mobility, I just want to do something with a high capacity for growth and learning (this is important I need to constantly improve my knowledgebase) and of course lucrative with some adventure for want of a better word... So whether in trinidad offshore or on or in dubai or any part of the world does anyone have links/guidance that you can PM me so I can land that sort of job? Maybe as a roustabout or some other entrylevel area that I can work my way up. Much appreciated guys.

Come on Latas, cap Zamora!

I was gonna post on the old lady (yes i am an inter fan but i'm a closet juve man) but i hadda say sumn bout this zamora post. zamora don't want to play for trinidad he'll keep inventing stuff until he's sure that he not going to make and england team, right now his coach saying that zamora should get call up for england cuz he in form... so until that pass out he not coming here and even if he does in the next four yrs we should have proper young talent not old fogies who only showing up for the paparazzi.

Ok now onto juve... too much off the field probs tearing up italy including juve when man locking coach in toilet yuh know things shitty...

I don't think that serie A in a mess just yet, they actually having a revival. As far back as when baggio was at inter i noticing that italian teams can't play english teams, they just hardly used to meet and when they did english teams used to self destruct, not so much that the italians outplayed them. EPL (though still like foot rugby to me) get better and more consistent esp at the top. Throughout epl n spl all the teams fast (cuz when yuh doh have skill yuh hadda depend on speed) but the top clubs have some decent foreign coaches who bring in some proper tactics. I'm sure though if money was available throughout the league to refresh the squad italy would get much faster and their superior tactics would pull them tru.
AS it stands the only clubs capable of even fast ball play now are roma, florentina, juve (with the right midfield selections) and inter (but jose have them moving slow most times, he might change that for barca). But cuz of the above problems: off the field drama, cash flow, & old men only inter and la viola and prob roma going to do well in europe next yr.

Cricket Anyone / Re: Australia vs West Indies, 3rd Test, WACA (Perth)
« on: December 20, 2009, 10:49:22 AM »
I agree che they out like bottoms and in any other scenario I woulda ascribe blame to them, but as I looked at it bravo came in the game simply to get a move on. as I recalled they had made about 3 runs in like 30 mins to an hr before bravo came to the crease, recognize is the aussies we talking about here, they have tons of mental strength by defending, as nice as it was, even with the advantage to the WI the aussies saw themselves coming back in control because no runs were being made. every time a ball is bowled it's a wicket taking chance, so with that risk in mind make a couple singles so that the aussies don't have time to think that they might come back into it nah!

at first RP was smothering the singles but then he went more defensive and nash still there defending... a lil forward push and it's a single i kinda excuse deonarine cuz with yuh partner on 44-48 for the past 5 yrs you would tend to look to push the score by smashing everything for four and forget or even rule out singles cuz you know your partner going to block the next 5 balls. nash reminding me bad of "pad 'em adams" he'll stay there whole day and think that he did the job of holding the innings together when yuh damn job is to read the game and know when to press an advantage.

As for pressing home and advantage that is a next story I vex with the WI for cuz gayle shit up the last test by not taking a risk and challenging the aussies to attempt the win. WI lack killer instinct it's like when things going well it's to incredible to believe... stuepes!!!!

« on: December 20, 2009, 07:20:41 AM »
I blame Nash for the loss. reason behind it is that he creates too much pressure on everybody just defending well. he's like a chanders without the singles and that forces the other batsmen to do all the run making to get on with it and results in way more loose shots. if he was just rotating the strike there would not have been so much pressure to score.

Cricket Anyone / Re: Australia v West Indies, 2nd Test, Adelaide Dec 4-8
« on: December 09, 2009, 07:51:30 PM »
The game was good but gayle acted like a coward since day four i would have tried a little blitz to 300-325 and declare at tea and while yes with four sessions we could have lost the match, in four sessions with all those little drinks breaks and overnight break the aussie batmen would have to start all over each time to settle themselves plus they would have been more inclined to try to go out and out for a win rather than see how it goes and if it going bad draw out the match, because we know that no matter what ponting telling them we third in the rankings DO NOT LOSE

like i said it was better but we need to win a good series not draw and show potential.
