Just finish watching the International Soca Monarch & Groovy Soca Monarch finals...Shurwayne Winchester has copped both titles, finally beating Bunji Garlin into 2nd place in the Soca Monarch (Neil 'Iwer' George was 3rd!), and walked away with prize money, a car and a Germany World Cup package all totalling about TT$800,000.00!

ay, diz is d' original ballfever. dat waz a MAD game on Wednesday, an' d'celebrationz was MADDER dan dat! buh d'real MADNESS waz dem Bahranians or Bahranis or whaddeva dey call dem. pelt stone behin' we WARRIORS,mash up dey own stadium an' ting. imagine if we did get on so in 1989..........
anyhow, we iz in d'deutschland now, 4get dem jokaz. ah ain't know bout allyuh,but ah sure if dey slice mih up an' check mih heart,somewhere in all dah red blood, dey go fin' ah black & white stripe....trini, long before world cup an' long aftah!
