« on: September 12, 2008, 08:25:15 AM »
Sadly to say, TI's Grandmother passed away 2 days ago, he said to post it on the board, she was 82 years old, so he asked for everyone's prayers, as his grandmother is taking this new journey in life. God bless her soul, she was truly a blessed woman and all those who knew her would say the same. God Bless Irene Adela Josephine Sookra of Maracus Valley St.Joseph

Football / Comparing Stephan Hart to Anton Corneal
« on: September 12, 2008, 08:09:40 AM »
Stephan was a very good player, had a very good football intellect, Corneal yes has the education and the certificates but does he have the instinct to be a good coach?

Stephan is the current technical director for the Canadian team was the former coach and did well as the coach, I doubt Corneal could have ever achieved this on any other team outside Trinidad, maybe barbados ;D but other than them, I don't think so.

Stephan has never come across as being bias, he is a person who wouldn't pick a team on his biased point of view, Corneal will and has and is doing it currently. I think if Hart was the assistant coach we would be seeing a different team or if he was coach even but he football powers are content with the Corneal regime, sink or swim.

Football / We Genuinely have a midfield problem
« on: September 11, 2008, 09:12:16 AM »
Watching and listenin to the last few games it is clear to see that our midfield are not penetrative enough, our strikers have been left to battle with 2-3 defenders at times to no avail, it is also clear our combinaton in the midfield is not generating the opportunities we need at this point in time. It was very disturbing to watch our midfield struggle to string together 7 passes at least or maintain possession without needing the long ball which on almost every occasion was turned over to the opposition. It comes a time when people have to realize we are not picking the best team, especially the midfield combination.
