« on: April 20, 2008, 09:53:20 AM »
I have been speaking with some friends recently who saw alot of leston paul and they see him as the next latapy , also they think very higly of peltier and britto . Personally i see these three as being our greatest prospects and comprising the backbone of the Trinidad and Tobago team in the near future. What do you all think?

Football / What you all think Chris should do?
« on: April 21, 2007, 11:57:58 AM »
I have been meaning to post this for a long time since Chris is one of our most important player and be warming bench straight through. I think he should look for a move in the summer he probably will get a championship club the longer he stay at coventry he wouldn't find form and his fitness level would go down.He had a good start at coventry i remember him scoring a beauty against Norwich i think it was then he started to become in effective. Do you all think he would have been better of at Port Vale where he getting regular playing time? and i know they changed managers but this one is not giving him a chance either why?

Football / Which players impressed you during this tournament
« on: January 24, 2007, 12:30:03 PM »
For me the best player during this tournament was Kerry Baptiste he really impressed me with  his crosses, dribbles, balling winning ability [should make the gold cup team] Then the two young defenders Osei Telesford and Makan Hislop both were very solid at the back they put in some great tackles also[replacements for Lawerance and Andrews in the near future]. This young midfielder Wiltshire also impressed me he have some natural talent there[ should be groomed for the future] A player who i think has really improved and had a good Tournament is Fitzpatrick he also put in some nice crosses[ he would also make my gold cup team] All in all the team generally played well for a young team congrats to them :beermug:

Football / How does our league compare to the African countries own
« on: August 16, 2006, 08:07:33 AM »
I don't know much about African league football but they are probably the only league out of the countries that were in the world cup that we can compare our league to. Is there standard of  local league football much higher than ours? Although we suppose to have the better league since we are a much richer country than  most African countries so we  have enough money to pump into the development of players and also to give them proper medical care.

I would go with Switzerland for the most boring team especially after that match against Ukraine that was by far the worst of the tournament.

Football / Scotland vs Samuel
« on: April 03, 2006, 08:20:38 PM »
Who would you choose scotland or samuel? I have a feeling that last forward could be either 1 of them.Leo would  have to make a very hard decision because both of them are currently playing very well.Somehow I  think sammy would be in the squad  because the coach gave scotland alot of chances and he never really took them.Samuel now has gotten fewer chances and made fairly good impressions. But it still would go down to the wire, if Jason keeps performing as well as he is, he could give Collin a fight.

Football / Owen can still make it
« on: March 28, 2006, 07:36:15 PM »
Englands striker Michael Owen could make it to the world cup after all.He underwent surgery for the second time last week to repair a broken bone in his foot.A screw was  inserted in his leg in January and was changed and tightened. He said that there are 11 weeks still for the world cup and he should be back in four.He also stated that he has been scoring goals all his life and will have the same instincts when he is 50.Owen has scored 33 goals in 74 internationals for England and this could be his third world cup appearance.
