Football / Stats don't lie! Stern John 2005 vs Kenwyne Jones 2009
« on: September 09, 2009, 08:45:46 PM »
I was Stern John biggest fan during the 2005 campaign and was constantly abused about my loyalty but at least i was supporting a player who was performing for their country.
Back then people was raving about Kenwyne Jones and he is better and he not getting a chance to show it.
However my answer was the stats don't lie.
So let us look at stats, in 2005 Stern was leading our front line, after 8 games in the Hex, We scored 7 goals of which Stern scored 3 goal just  under 50%.
By the end of the Hex we scored 10 goals Stern scored 6 just over 50% leading us to the playoff with Bahrain.
Now let us look at 2009 Kenwyne is leading our front line, after 8 games in the Hex we have scored  8 goals of which Kenwyne have scored none exactly 0%.
However I don't hear hte ppl calling for his head.
Therefore tell me what you think and who you choose?

Football / Rivaldo vs Ronaldinho
« on: September 29, 2006, 04:33:16 PM »
I was just watching some clips of Barcelona in the late 90's early 2000's and it brought back some real good memories and it go me thinking who was the better and more domaiting player while playing for Barcelona.
Rivaldo or Ronaldinho, I like Ronaldinho but i think back of those days when Rivaldo used to grace the 10 for Barcelona i think he had more presence and drive that i think Ronaldinho hasn't shown on a constistant basis.
Think about the two 6 goal thrillers against Man Utd in the Champions league in 1999-2000 season or the excellent hat-trick performance against Valencia on the last day of the 2000-2001 seaon ( that helped Barca qualify to the champions league).
I think Rivaldo gets my vote

What do you all think.

General Discussion / A view on Anil "Spalk" Roberts
« on: April 28, 2006, 07:42:04 PM »

I have been watching Spalk since the new season has started and have listened to his radio show on Power 102FM. I have come to realise that Anil have become a big sell out, anybody(person\company) he can get something($$$) from he bigs them up, but if he does not get anything he bad talks and insults that person/company.
At 1st he was someone who used to take a neutral stance and no matter who you are if you did good he will big you up and if you did bad he will waste you down, but recently since he has all these sponsors and getting all these jobs all over you can see that he treats certain people/company very sutle if he has to talk about something  they did that he did not agree with, but others he will "go to town" on them sometimes to the point of being disrespectful.

That is my view, What is your?

« on: January 04, 2006, 05:02:05 AM »
I am not a  Real fan but i saw that they bought a Cassano from Roma, that now they have 6 strikers. We all know there problem is not strikers they need a defensive midfielder and a centerback.
Oh well it will just make it easier for my team to win la Liga
All the Real fans holla back
