Falkirk dominate the 1st half but couldn't score in a brothel. An OG just before half-time and a sucker punch just after left Falkirk trailing 2-0 and were lucky to keep in at that level for the next 25 minutes. Latapy came on in the 72nd minute (Kenny Milne came off - he was having a good game and our manager was soundly booed for bringing him off - never heard it that bad before). Falkirk picked up to score once (McBreen) but despite a strong finish were unable to equalise. Good Game, Bad Game.

T&T got a write-up in the matchday programme with this forum getting a honourable mention - Check da danger. I'll see if I can't get the author to send me a copy for posting here.

Football / Falkirk lose - but Latapy wins

Celtic 2 - 1 Falkirk (AET)

Again, Falkirk take the lead only to be beaten by the stronger side in extra time - but Latapy easily had the Mom award although he came off after 88 mins.

How good is that man?  ;D

Football / Latapy - the Falkirk view

Hi there folks

A few more Falkirk fans have signed up here so I'm opening this thread to 1) allow us to introduce ourselves and 2) keep you informed of how Russell is getting on here in Scotland. (if the mods approve and if the rest of the Falkirk fans can keep their ramblings to a single thread  ;D)

So, Born-again Bairn (BaB for short) at your service. I'm not your typical Falkirk fan because 1) despite my advancing years, I've only been supporting them for 3 seasons and 2) I'm English not Scottish. However, typical or no, it's safe to say that Russell has placed himself among the Falkirk legends. While that doesn't sound much on the world scale, you'll know more than us what it means to have such a player associated with your club/country.

All the best in the up-coming games

BaB
