Football / CRAZY BOLD MOVE
« on: June 24, 2005, 12:22:24 PM »
This crazy but say wha i fishing for anything to make a WC and is Friday. As far as i can remember-the last stopper or sweeper whaever yuh wha call him is one of  the most composed, smartest player on the field.

excellent technique, accurate passer could organize man like a coach out there in the park. positioning himself and the men in front of him-ideally a sweeper should not have to tackle.  baresi, marquez, beckenbauer, koeman, blanc etc.
having said that why not move Marvin Andrews to a man marker or play in front of the sweeper/last man.

play the smartest man in that position who on TT team fit that mold is a hard one. with avery and dog in front playing hard he have it easy.

Football / LEO in itself a good move- my opinion
« on: April 01, 2005, 09:42:20 AM »
First and foremost this is what we need someone to show and help our players understand the technical aspect of the game as far as formations and the roles in each formation to make the whole system come together and traditionally Dutch Coaches are extremely strong in this aspect of the game.

Secondly this guy has tremendous experience at the int'l level club wise and world cup level and last but not least he can teach the basic fundamentals of the game which for some reason are taken for granted at the national level but need to be reinforced on a daily level

and hopefully he can teach some of these knuckleheads who are so unmotivated to learn including Alvin,Gally and Bertille, ron la, isa, anton etc etc
