Football / Is JMW the best keeper we have?
« on: July 12, 2013, 05:58:29 PM »
if so, we have a real problem. The man slap a ball right back to an onrushing Haitian. Bleeder got to go. Keon is having one of I-am-sleepy game. otherwise we arrite. I believe that we can still win this match. Suddenly Haity is not looking as dangerois as they were against Honduras.

Football / Young talent: Seecharan, Garcia & Sam.
« on: April 09, 2013, 06:01:22 AM »
Just watched highlights of both games - this has to be one of, if not, the most talented U17 players I have seen since the days of York & Latapy. Special mention to #15, 9 & 7. The talent no doubt is there but lets hope that the administration can come through for these youngsters.

Brent Sam, Akeem Garcia and Kishun Seecharan.

Football / A stinging indictment if the Socawarriors

Go on to Brazil with, what is on paper, one of one of our weakest teams. It will show what a millstone JW was around the neck of our football. That alone should motivate our players. A bacchanal-free campaign minus JW and his constant reminder that it is he who is doing everything for our football. Chuck Blazer did us a favor. This campaign will show that that JW was more of an hindrance than help to all of our many campaigns.

Football / The american dread Beckerman

Wonderful player isnt he? I expect to hear alot more about him. I hope Bradley plays his son instead of Beckerman when we meet in our final game.

Football / Scott Sealy like Jason Scotland scores wherever he plays
« on: February 08, 2009, 08:51:25 AM »
This is taken from the Jerusalem Post. Sealy's second game in my beloved Israel.

Megrelashvili slotted in an Igor Tomasic center for the equalizer, and Trinidadian Scott Sealy met a Maor Buzaglo cross at the front-post to score the winner.

Football / Seems like Maturana gone!!!
« on: December 21, 2008, 06:44:19 AM »
Just read an article in today's newsday by Peter whatever-you-say-Jack O'connor. He was critical of Maturana. Believe me this is not an accident. I expect an announcement anyday now.

Football / The only good news or gift I want
« on: December 03, 2008, 06:27:51 PM »
for christmas is the dismissal of Maturana. Nobody could tell me that this man is better than what we have in the T&T pro league minus Granville. This man can't coach period. And let us not fool ourselves. thank God for Dwight and Latas otherwise without their onfield input the Digicel would have been the second competition we would been eliminated from.

This is why when I read LP I get so sick and upset. These asslickers are only interested in keeping their little cush jobs while our football going to hell in a hand basket. I will put Fenwick, Fevrier and even Streets up against this dumb ass anyday and they would run rings around any team he picks minus Dwight and Latas.

Maybe it is good thing that we are coming home early hopefully the big thief could find some clause to get rid of him without paying him. He does not deserve a cent. Mr hunt if you read this please do not authorise any money to pay this dentist who parades as a football coach. Pay him for a cleaning or better yet an extraction....his, from our footbal.

Football / RF and the other JA nuisances disappear and will not
« on: August 15, 2008, 03:06:29 PM »
return for a few days well. Beating this ES team, the same team that almost destroyed them recently has certainly put alot in perspective for them. They will lose against Cananda and will definitely not make out of their grp. I can hear all the excuses from now. Most of it will center around King and Simoes not picking the right team.

Football / Jack Warner and KPMG
« on: June 18, 2008, 06:54:04 PM »
In my musings one thing stays on my mind. Why is Jack constantly shouting out the name KPMG?   Hmm for credibility I suppose. But how can a reputable firm like KPMG be so tardy in producing the accounts for the TTFF?..Are they awaiting bills and receipts that Jack is unable to produce ala Wim's salary etc? Unable to produce these documents is he deathly afraid to stick in any old receipt  that could make him end up like his compere Bas, facing a possible prison term for falsifying records? He knows fully well that Manning and co. have a whole slip cordon waiting for him to edge. And they waiting with baseball mitts too.
This could be far fetched but Jack never impressed me as the kind to pass up millions for the sake of a little accounting.

Football / Putting Jack's V Presidency into perspective
« on: June 21, 2007, 05:07:37 PM »
This Case was settled but read the damning lines and tell me how can one seperate Jack from this organisation. This piece from the BBC today.

Fifa, football's world governing body, has agreed to pay Mastercard $90m (£45m) to settle a bitter dispute about sponsorship of the World Cup.
The credit card firm has sponsored each World Cup since 1990 and believed it had first refusal to extend the deal to cover the 2010 and 2014 tournaments.

It took legal action against Fifa after the organisation struck what it argued was a conflicting deal with rival Visa.

The settlement will see Mastercard withdraw as a future World Cup sponsor.

'Business decision'

It will also bring to an end all outstanding legal proceedings in the US, where Mastercard is based, and Switzerland, where Fifa has its headquarters.

Last year a US judge found against Fifa over the dispute, which dated back to the terms of a contract it signed with Mastercard in 2002.

She ordered Fifa to retain Mastercard as a sponsor between 2007 and 2014, stating that the World Cup agreement was "priceless".

We believed the best interests of shareholders and customers was to be served by severing the relationship

Larry Flanagan, Mastercard

Fifa appealed against the legal verdict, arguing that it had acted in "good faith" throughout.

A ruling last month ordered the judge to re-examine the original decision, but Fifa was still unable to proceed with the Visa deal after Mastercard successfully obtained an injunction.

Mastercard said Fifa's behaviour during contract negotiations had done "irreparable damage" to their working relationship and to levels of trust between the two organisations.

"It was a business decision," said Larry Flanagan, Mastercard's global chief marketing officer, of the financial settlement.

"We believed the best interest of shareholders and customers was to be served by severing the relationship," he added.

In a statement, Fifa described the settlement as a "mutually agreeable resolution".

Mastercard said it remained committed to its other footballing sponsorships, including the European Champions League and next year's European Championships.

Football / Just saw the highlights...Dwane Jack
« on: January 15, 2007, 07:33:29 AM »
needs to get away from Tobago utd and go to one of the big three in the pro league. I read where some posters said that he aint good. Well these posters need to stop watching football and continue playing pocket billiards. He is a diamond in the rough. An absolute gem. He is T&T's future defensive rock. Tiger needs to realise that he is a laborer and start playing as such and forget trying to look pretty. He will never be. But he can go on to be a real tiger/scrapper in the defensive middle. Glasgow should be banished from any national team. He is no good. Scott Sealy will come good. He needs service. Back to Tiger, he can be way better than Birchall but needs to know his limitations. He thinks that he is better than he really is and will not improve with that trend of thought. If He realises that he is our scrapper then will he ever realise his dreams of a true pro contract.

Football / We don't have good local coaches
« on: October 28, 2006, 07:04:49 AM »
What does it take for the  authorities in T&T to realise what i have been preaching for years. WE DONT HAVE GOOD LOCAL COACHES!  Our country has been sadlled by the likes of Brian Williams. Ron laforest, BSC, Granville, Muhammad Issa, Clayton Morris, Anton Corneal and of course never ever let us forget Edgar Vidale. In all honesty though we have had two who would not qualify for the aforementioned list and that would be Alvin and Gally.

I dont know whether itsan attestation to our indisciplne as a people or the fact that we have just not been producing real quality players over the last 20 or so years. What ever it is though , i can safely say that we have been putting dunces to run scholarly classes. In other words we have been putting jackasses in horse races.

But then again what can we expect when we have a delusional, money grubbing, lying, political wannabe running our football?

I will say again, our football continues inspite of Warner. WHen he goes and a real adminstrator steps in,our football will rise again and only then can we take our rightful place as kingpins of the caribbean and big sawatee of Concacaf.

Football / Hardest would NOT make it!!!
« on: January 05, 2006, 09:24:18 AM »
All this talk about hardest is simply the strong drink of the sick and dying. Hardest at best will not be able to cope with the rigors of international football. He is slow and a defensive liability. Had he been playing at least in div 1 in england I would say that he would be an asset but barely playing at home in the PFL and then hoping that his "natural" ability will pull him through is wishful thinking at best, utter stupidity at worst.

This guy has not even been a regular in domestic competition, in caribbean competition but will, through some perceived genius, light up the world stage. Yeah Right!!

What T&T need right now is a leftsided, defensive midfielder. Hardest does not fit that mold. The only player i would like to see coming into the team is Jlloyd Samuel. A comitted and fit Dwarika i would not refuse. Otherwise leave your Zamoras, Hardests and all the suddenly brilliant but flawed geniuses right where they are, out in the cold looking in.

Football / Thank You Dwight
« on: August 19, 2005, 03:21:14 PM »
You took us to the youth WC in '91 and I strongly believe you will lead us to germany. Lawrence's red card was a blessing in disguise. Yorke took over the midfield and showed what a general he really is. Spann showed how a wing back should play. Avery John showed how a wing back shouldnt play....but we have no other alternative. Sealy and Jones basically told Stern to wake up and smell the coffee. Sancho showed that the warrior Lawrence would not be missed. This may sound crazy but i dont see us losing another game in this campaign.

20
Football / One glaring positive from this game
« on: August 17, 2005, 08:10:26 PM »
Spann is the best choice for right wing back on this team the other is Yorke is our engine. From the moment he went to midfeld we started looking like a team. Sancho is a good replacement for Tallman, with the return of carlos and Kenwyn starting we having the makings of a good enough team. I believe we would still qualify.

Football / IS crouch worth 7 million . Its a good deal for Jones
« on: July 19, 2005, 10:05:59 AM »
but is crouch really worth 7 mill. He is good. I like him as a target man but he aint worth more than 1 mill, in my opiion. I guess thats becasue he is english. Watchout for Birchall's market value skyrocketing.

Football / The hon/cr and US/ JA game has put some perspective
« on: July 17, 2005, 09:15:02 AM »
into T&T's performance. Now CR/US was a pretty good game that ended 0-0. Trinidad/ Honduras 1-1. JA/US1-3 and Hon/CR 3-1. IS it, in hindsight, that we were actually in the hardest grp and if we had taken care of business vs both Hon and Pan we would be sitting pretty right now?

We all sang the praise of JA but lookng at their grp it was a pretty weak grp. Guatemala was the whipping boy, SA was down to a third team and Mex was missing most of their top players. What happens as soon as JA meets a top team? They look like schoolboys. Honduras made Cr look quite beatable even at home. Lets see what happens with the SA/Pan game and the Mex/Col game because the possiblity exist that the 3 teams from our grp could be in the semis. Two of which we should have beaten.

Football / KND2 are you the same or related to KND?
« on: July 14, 2005, 02:51:35 PM »
This is a serious question. Because i just read a post of yours and it made sense. I would not normally read KND because .............. well simply put I just dont read anything by KND . I only read it because of the 2.  But you made sense so you cant be KND.

Football / There are some positives from the Miami experience
« on: July 12, 2005, 06:34:49 PM »
1) Beenie knows  that Theobold, Rahim and Gray, beyond a shadow of a doubt are not international material. DOnt expect to see them around the team come the 17th. Btw Avery John is not far behind we just dont have another option. Pls dont mention Rojas or tiger.

2) We, and I am sure Beeenie as well, knows Jack's keeping position and its #3 after Ince and Shaka.

3) Lawrence and Dog have formed a nice alliance.

4) Dwight, Sancho and Carlos will make a hell of a difference to this team.

I am sure that by the time the US game comes around that we would have a full squad and some  seen in this tournament would be history by then.

Football / I am sorry but without the services
« on: July 12, 2005, 04:06:48 PM »
of Yorke and Eddwards this team aint going nowhere. We have possibly the two worst wing back in international football right now......Our midfield is lethargic....Birchall is proving to be not all we thought he was.......Spann is ok but needs help.......Samuel is one track....Stern has eaten himself out of football...Scotland is a sub.......Jack is a joke.......   boy we in some serious trouble now and in the future....I see nothing on the horizon....beenieman has to work a miracle with this group of players
