The decisions DL has made since given the TT coaching job shows he is not ready to be a head coach, hopefully the risk TTFA took by giving him the job will workout for TT football in the future.

Normal mistakes for a rookie head coach at this level. Big price to pay though! Hope he learns and can make better decisions at critical times in future games.

He should have left on KJ inserted another striker with him and switching to a more offensive 3-5-2, you at home need to get at least a pt. Levi is playing at a high level should have been involved if he was ok to play. DL seems to have a passion for Army players need to think professional not with his heart.

DJW never gave Hart the financial support to properly prepare the team. DJW goal was to remove Hart from day one and was only waiting for an opening to have an excuse to remove heart.

The 3 years Hart was in charge he did a good job and if TTFA had a president that supported Hart our football will not be in such a mess but instead it would be looking positive for the upcoming games.

DJW should resign, a new president comes in and bring back Hart, gave him the support to continue his job to get TT to Russia, It's our only hope at this time.

Hart has learned a lot about our player pool over the 3 years, we should not let that go to waste and anyone who has knowledge about football (which unfortunately there are not many this is why our football is in a mess) will know Hart is our best hope to get us to Russia.

I can understand his decision to drop players for disciplinary reasons but the reason he gave for not selecting KJ clearly shows he doesn't know what it takes to be winner.

International football is serious business and you need intelligent and experience football minds from top to bottom if you want to have success at this level.

Our football has become a cartoon show

I wouldn't be surprise after these 2 games there are voluntary resignations.

I know Tom, Latas and Shabazz will do their best but they are trying to come up with a short term plan to qualify for WC which will be a miracle if it happens. World Cup is taken very seriously and countries prepare years in advance to qualify.

At least Hart had a plan. Hart had success with the team but he was going through a small bad spell (which happens to every coach). If Jan didn't get hurt vs Honduras we could of probably come away with a tie and going forward with Molino, Bostock and Cummings available the team would of definitely made a run to qualify.

You have a new coach that has a poor international results and is surrounding himself with assistants whose track records are poor on the international stage. So once again folks please don't get your hopes up it will take a miracle to get 1 pt.

« on: December 08, 2016, 12:17:05 PM »
Almost every coach encounters a spell where they will lose games, but it's up to the president and his advisers to evaluate and see if coach Hart plans has totally failed and if there is still hope they needed to give Hart the support to finish the job he has been working on for the pass 3 years.

A new coach with limited success of winning at this level, no experience of football in CONCACAF and no knowledge of our players and now asking the man to get results in such short time just shows the lack of knowledge and vision by the TTFA.

Over the past 3 years Hart who is very passionate about football in TT and a very good coach has given TT football hope but with his removal TT senior men's football can be moving downhill very fast.

Who's that #5?

Basic defending. Just ball watching like he sweating in de savannah  :pissedoff:
That's the Cyrus they cussin. To be fair the CB (#12) left the centre to go to the ball and the left side defenders got cut open easily to allow the attacker freedom behind the defense.

That last Costa Rica attack didn't look like offside.
Pulling out Jomal for a defensive mid?
The defensive mid showed more offensive skills than Jomal.

KJ possesses some good qualities as a striker, pace, strong in the air, good shot, holds off defenders well, but his poor work rate to help win the ball back and dribbling skills to beat a defender in a 1v1 situation has kept him from elevating his game to another level.

"and a reduced bunch of our quality players" after clearly identifying the problems it would of been nice to see some mention of the valiant effort by the coaching staff with the limited talent they had to work with.

Article is more like nitpicking on Harty.

Who is Bostick?

 ;)

Bostock will play on the wing, something like this.

Bostock__Boucaud__Hyland__Jones
__________Molino______________
__________Kenwyne_____________

We real problem is de striking position.

In 2001 T&T under Porterfield de team run through this stage and when they reach de Hex they get nuff bull.

So Hartie have to try he best and get enough depth and give players some exposure before next year cause it could be real hard, no easy game next year.
I real butchering this man's name ;D
I like that line up. Levi coming off the bench fresh will be problems for defenders and Molino is catching his form.
I'm looking forward to see what the team in look like for the remainder of the year.

Jones has been effective running at defenders, last game he was more effective coming in from the right to a strong left footed shot, more problem for Hartie.

One of de best think I read for de year !!!!!!

Bull them hard Hartie.

Flex, yuh is ah boss.

F00ck that, yuh better than any sport write we have in T&T right now.

Who vex, get brush.

We will have a big problem soon, we have no strikers, I feel Hartie need to either convert one of his midfielders to one or try and bring in some youths and see if he could break them out like, Shackiel Henry, Ricardo John, Nicholas Dillon, Kadeem Corbin, Jonathan Godette, Nathan Regis, Noah Powder, Isaiah Hudson, Jerren Nixon or Brent Sam.

With many good mids, maybe Joevin can be given a shot as a striker if needed. He does have some qualities of a striker, fast, can shoot, like to run at defenders and can beat defenders. The big problem it's a very difficult position to learn in a short period, things like making and timing of runs behind the D-line, playing with your back to defenders and dealing with hard tackles will be difficult.

Hart will not have any headache. If you are active with your club and you prove you are ready when you show up to camp you will be selected. Players are not identical and Hart has the eye to see that player who will give him the edge.

For all the players selected to participate, if you want to be a starter, show up and do what is asked of you at the highest level and Hart will notice. Don't be a saga boy in camp, just work hard!

Wonder how he felt when Hart called on Levi rather than Winchester....ouch
Hart called on a player that won the game, how he felt in this case don`t matter. Hart has a soccer brain!

How does it works when TTFA decide to fire someone? Is it the President decision alone or is it the President along with the committee / board members making a unify decision?

Football / Re: Garcia’s double spurs on ‘Warriors’
« on: March 27, 2016, 09:53:16 AM »
In the interview Hart mentioned that it was shocking at times the organization between the mids and back line. I think more blame should be put on the backline for being lackadaisical by sitting deep and not pushing high to close the gaps.

I was impress with the team mentality to try and build up their attack with the short passing and not panic by going to the easy long ball option, even though the ground condition didn't suit the short passing game.

Our wide mids defensively at times wasn't working hard to compress the midfield, St-Vincent at times in attack had too much time in the mid and knowing that Molino was like a 2nd striker it left Hyland and Boucaud with too much work.

Tuesday should be fine. St. Vincent don't seem to have too much dimension going forward. Hart will make the adjustments.
We also have more depth to rotate of need be.
Also a better playing surface and 7 pm game time will be better for us.

I understand lack of preparation can be a result of poor performances, but when you see senior national players in the video making basic defending mistakes that they should have learned as youths it's difficult to accept excuses from poor team defending in the video.

For i.e.
1. Players are slow to close down the ball (ball gazing)
2. No second defender to back up the 1st defender
3. 1st defender diving in and getting beat easy
4. Players seems to not know if they are playing zone defense or man to man, everyone is standing around watching the 1st defender and then reacts to the pass at the last minute.
5. Defending in front your goal the keeper should be the most vocal but it seems that there is 0 communication from all.
This and many more were very clear to see vs Canada

If we had bring him in and he helped to beat Haiti then that 8 grand would look like peanuts now.

A game of this importance it's hard to go with inexperience especially if you using one on top.
