Yuh almost make it thru , vb. Yuh was on the Representative offence team , then yuh get emotional. :yellowcard:
Good breakdown all the same, we can edit a few things. :-[

Just some things to think about..

So now that all Covid cases are out. HoF is all clean, fixed and ready for normal business ?
Who and how itís being managed ? Since at present most likely canít be used due to Covid restrictions, who is paying for or doing normal cleaning and maintenance? What are post covid plans and who formulating those plans to manage and operate the structures?

:) Looming inevitability has a way of harnessing action. Bullet dodged.
Of Course. Cause there is no money. Free residency at HoF for Wanderers training camp, and they pay him, wonít cut it. No football, even less travel. So now phone call done and pot off the stove. All the back burners occupied.
I actually wanted him to get some funds with the Ďsomeí talk and promises. The parang good, but is not christmas yet.

Please hart stay away. IMO itís never good to look back and like in the proverbial words of the Rastas forward ever backward never. time for a fresh start and what better than a fair minded respectable no nonsense white man from europe ala benhakker or a hispanic from south america particularly argentina or uraguay.

these boys needs new ideas and a new situation to stimulate and inspire the players , and I believe a south american would understand the concacaf culture better than even us in concacaf and would implement a style better suited to deal with the central americans and the mexicans.
You want some football or the mother of all court cases. I think at this point without any major future tournaments in any senior program, we can only buy local and cheap local. A primary school league coach, Holy Name convent coach and 2nd runner up in SSFl coach. Yuh canít drink double black with sweedrink money. The way things going, Fifa might say carryon, and WASA lock off the water at we Home of football.( the cash well)
thanks for saying what you said you have spoken like a typical trinidadian, no ideas no solutions no collective bargaining and nothing that spells progressive and forward thinking, and this is typically indicative of all the trinis who held power in every spare of this nation. they came in to our lives with nothing but an inflated ego and a hungry belly and by the time they left things were worst off than they found it.

MG. did you even follow this thing closely where lok loy and hartford was banging on DJW for his lack of transparency and at one point brought a vote of no confidence urging him to resign? lok loy then locked horns with dennis lawrence calling for his resignation claiming that he wasnít the right man for the job based on a string of poor performances, and i want to believe it was even before the gold cup where lawrence still had my support, causing dennis to threaten lok loy with a pre action protocol if an apology was not in order.

my good friend, timkee hartford and lok loy is not going to sit back and allow any old goat to coach our team going forward, even if they have to take out a loan to make it happen, and i think you could take that to the bank and cash it. they probably already have a coach picked out and waiting to hit the ground running in case they beat DJW come sunday. these are businessmen you talking bout mate, not some power hungry autocratic federation president with a head strong country boy come to town inflated ego and void of ideas.

I will say no more on the subject so you can have your say, iíll just wait for the next few weeks GW to sought things out on its own. me thinks interesting times are on its way.

:-\ Bounced at the bank . Thank God or the devil many armchair analyst aren't typical Trinidadians.  Now, if we can get past this covid suffering, everything else will be smooth.  ::)

add: we even get ah no nonsense white fella as suggested, but he tun out to be a typical Trini.
'what ah do wrong again'

Jack was quite good and pointed in the Andre interview on sports talk on tten.
Donít know if Anyone has a link.

Would love to hear that!
Jack was hitting DJW some virtual lash, and Andre didn't step up to deflect the blows. Andre tried to change subject by referring to JAW own problems. Jack say, he ain't thief, money pass, and money still passing , or something to that effect. He said he believe in the Wallace admin and also commented on the ghost of the CFU. It was sometimes quite funny. Jack want to know how come the President of Concacaf receiving million dollar salary, and is outside the Caribbean region, when Caribbean has 27 votes of 41. "Never in my time". Jack say as salary as VP fifa  (or maybe wa spres. of concacaf) he didn't even get 2 kaiser balls.
Add: I think Jack commented on everything current, except the tainted wildmeat. Tman, seeker yíall canít get from the network?

« on: May 10, 2020, 01:23:41 PM »
Fenwick is out of his lane. His private opinion ought not be inserted into this matter.  That's the essence of recognizing one's role as a coach in a NT set-up: stick to technical matters barring a narrow range of exceptions (none of which are present here). His comments can only be construed as being part of the chorus of the 'Wallace drop it' pressure group and that isn't proper form in Fenwick's role as MNT coach. There's a process that's recognized by FIFA as a process.  The TTFA executive have submitted to that process. Let the process redress itself.
You must admit, This highway never had regular lane markers anyway and 2. Fenwick was never one to stick to nobody lane, why there was always 'hmmm' in selecting him in the past. Besides the fact that this Viral situation have everybody and he brother (&sister ), even dey mother - well mine anyway) on edge. Imagine yuh finally get the job yuh wanted for over 25 years, yuh doh have much time left, and not just the usual Trini bs, but full world thing preventing yuh from doing it.... Frigged up Encounters of the 19th kind.

Wallace, executive not pursuing CAS matter
Trinidad and Tobago Newsday

THE EMBATTLED TTFA (TT Football Association) president William Wallace and his former executive (Clynt Taylor, Susan Joseph-Warrick and Joseph Sam Phillip) are no longer pursuing their legal matter with CAS (Court of Arbitration for Sport).

Wallace and his team were appealing a decision by FIFA, the global governing body for football, who, on March 17, removed the group from office, due to mounting debts, and set up a normalisation committee, headed by businessman Robert Hadad.

It is understood that Wallace and his team, which also included attorneys Matthew Gayle and Dr Emir Crowne, were concerned over CASí desire to increase the legal costs from the TTFA.

The TTFA were asked to pay the entire cost of arbitration (TT $277,000) but FIFA would not spend a cent until the matter is heard.

There yuh go Sanch. Aptly rewarded for your loyalty.

Yuh saying no wool over your eyes?
Question seeker : Doesn't that also mean he is a representative of the TTFA i.e. in his case,  the NC ?

Merci pour votre bon service, Bleeder. Hope you continue to contribute.

And there you have it. In that case, fine. And now, Hart put NC in check . But is he paranging the wrong house ?

Nah, he knocking on de right door.
Yeah, but it might not be Christmas time there (all the gifts Fifa SUPPOSED to be sending). Might have been best to announce after funds arrived. No ? Now, it might just be. "Due to current situation, eveything on hold".

Au contraire, the timing is favorable and opportune.
Ok. Hoping a good result work out for everybody. I do mean everybody TT. (FA, NC, and all staff). The fiefdom always survives.

And there you have it. In that case, fine. And now, Hart put NC in check . But is he paranging the wrong house ?

There is another method that could work, but it would also cement the "colonial or protectorate" argument that they might not want to go down that road. But it would get the current coaches paid and allow for some cherry-picking of prioritizing debts in the short-term. That would be guaranteed to keep Lasana busy for weeks.
What's that seeker ? Direct payments ? what ? Ah doh want no headache over all this assness. I can hardly figure out why I even bothering at this time.

As per last paragraph, I wonderedíwhat is to prevent NC from opening their own FIFA acct totally managed by themí ? Fighting for an already cleared out account that other creditors still have an opportunity to freeze and clear out is almost nonsensical. Donít see why Mr Wallace thinks FIFA will put money in his controlled account now, especially now, when the wouldnít even consider it before.
Honestly given all the freezing and seizures, itís a good thing they didnít.
2nd question: can creditors freeze and seize the NC account since they are supposedly taking over TTFA business.

You running to the Privy Council to save your backside.
Damn thing is, we need a new tsunami to wash way all these new players. Jack tsunami would probably barely reach DJW , Monty and the dreaded Infant toes today.

ďCould Mr Wallace not have fixed this problem quietly, quickly and peacefully in order to save any embarrassment to (the) FIFA president, the Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, the Minister of Sport and the former president of TTFA who attended the official opening of the Hotel?Ē
Suite continued, adding: ďItís the last straw that breaks the camelís back.Ē

Yes Arthur. You identify the real victims in all of this. Brilliant.

Steups, fack outta here with this garbage

"he TTFA executive misrepresented the extent of what needed to be remediated, the relevance of it taking place during a situation of de facto emergency and the Arima Velodrome project (described by Marcelle as "dotish"). The caller entered with grace but departed bruised."

Ah was afraid this project would be presented as an argument to bite them in the ass. Don't even get why they got involved in that discussion.
Definitely a huge mistake on their part. Wondering if somebody thought the could get something new in the East. Timing sucked.

I really don't get this New Project. Why not work with, finish, complete what y'all have, with whatever finance that can be raised. We go just go out and build another structure. We don't have enough structures just sitting doing nothing. Especially at this time when there is nothing, and I mean nothing.    :frustrated: ???

Is a make wuk to move funds or what.  Lawd..This is another Tarouba elephant or Arima Tigers fiasco.

We playing Sim City, click ah mouse and poof, building going up.   :bs:
This is nonsensical to be talking about now, given the current world and FIFA situation.

Of the 12 step-down facilities, Deyalsingh said only six were being used, with the Augustus Long Hospital in Pointe-a-Pierre, the Arima Hospital, the National Academy of the Performing Arts and the Debe UWI campus still unoccupied.

I donít even know what to make of the second link , with the rest and not all step down centres.

Again, especially when there were and still is, staffed wards and hospitals available. Government obviously spending extra to keep ppl healthy. Even where unnecessarily so. Bet some of the extra spending has some known and dependable (wink) connects.
