Tickets booked for the finals this Sat.  Once tickets came available to the public, they sold out in three minutes.

Can someone please tell me how San Juan is at the top of the SSFL table, with only 16 points, while Pres Sando is at #2 with 17 points???

San Juan won: 5 ; Drew: 1 ; Lost: 2; Their record should reflect 16 points, yet it reflects 18.

Pres Sando won: 5 ; Drew: 2; Lost: 1:  Their record correctly reflects 17 points.

So, what am I missing here in the Math?
Your Math is right...the table results are wrong. San Juan won 6 and lost 2 as at the time that table was produced. They had no draws so they were on 18 points. I think they lost to Fyzo yesterday so they are second now

As a Saints man I was pissed at the result particularly with the 2nd goal Pres scored. Real hard luck way to lose a final, but, I can't excuse  the behaviour of Jason Edwards and the rest of the staff. No amount of complaining would make the ref reverse his decision. As a coach, you have to rise above things. It is by no means easy but, you have to set an example for the youthmen. Toughest thing for CIC is to dust themselves off, shake off the disappointment and focus on the Intercol. All them teams will be gunning now. Look St Anthony's had to win on PKs over Malick.
Good luck fellahs....

According to the commentators, the referee was 40 yards away and claimed that the CIC goalkeeper carry the ball over the goal line. No call from the linesman and commentators were in shock.

Did not see it, just reporting what I heard.

Very much improved game for TnT. Definitely less boom kick and more on the ground passing. For portions of the game the El Salvador midfield rad us ragged...constant off the ball movement which opened passing lanes for them. Too often we were waiting for the ball to come to us rather than attack and win. Then, when we got possession, we were giving it away to easily.
That being said, very positive play and we put the ball in the net and had chance to score more.
The second goal we conceded was dunce-ness. That run began in the midfield by and nobody picked it up. Saddist just breezed out to the right side and two of our defenders ran towards him. Zelaya in the middle had our third defender running behind him and it was a no brainer. Lapse there.

Power looked like he picked up a injury in extra time....hope he is ok.

Good result...though with the Honduras victory over Haiti, we have to get them 3 points against Haiti to make it easier for the final game.

The running ragged was the result of midfielders not tracking vertical runs from the El Salvador central midfield.  The initial pressing and team shape looks good but once the ball got goal side of the Mids they were ball watching.  Check the video.  the hole  between central defenders and central mids  was the target for launching El Salvador into the attacking 1/3
True, bottom line was that El Salvador midfield was in constant motion both attacking and defending

Bleeder picked up his first yellow today so he safe...

Molino in the Haiti game
David in the Antigua game
David in the DR game (so I assume he missed the game today)
Gonzales in DR game
Carter in DR game

Amazing to me that at this level, fundamentals like trapping, passing and crossing are causing men problems

This Martinique is not a better team though.  WE lacking a forward and an atacking midfielder..Why Molino was on the bench to start?  Poor choice by the coaching staff.
Agreed...just a brilliant play by the goal scorer

I find Wellbeck real purging these days. I eh see nuttin positive from him yet he seems to be getting more play than Chich who has been scoring and bringing more positives. Personally, I never rated Wellbeck.

I agree with you sah!!!!!! I don't really like it but it is the trend in football worldwide.
At first glance it look real poor, but, I paused it and it looked like the defender had a fist grip on the right sleeve and was pulling hard.
