De Leon in time will join the ranks of USA's top players. That kind of talent just can't be denied.

If he is half as good as his father was he'll be ah beast!!!

This man looking like a player already boy ... no denying he have some of his father in him for sure.
'he is one for the future

Suppose one of the counties has better players than all the rest .... we still gonna take 10 from that and 10 from another one that have worst players?

Fojo play 90 mins in the season opener for puerto Rico islanders ....

I don't see why he can't get a little call up and see how he looking compared to the other boys ... the man is a player since young and I hear he playing rell ball now in Puerto Rico. He boss the midfield against the Tampa Bay Rowdies.

He got called up back in 2008 and was on the bench for a friendly against El Salvador, but was unused. He eh get much playing time wit Orlando, and de NASL season now start, so is early days yet.

I remember when he got that call in 2008 but I heard he played poor in training, but wasn't that for the national team ? I was wondering why he didn't get call for this U23 squad that played in the olympic qualifying to at least train with the boys and see how he was looking. I hoping he have a good season and continue learning and improving. Big Tings from this yute man in the future I feel.

I know Grovey had a stint with one of the junior teams like U17 or something but I feel he should be given a chance though. The man is consistently have his team as the best school team in the nation, consistently.
If not him then for sure Terry Fenwick. The man is more knowledgeable than most of the goats that coaching we boys right now

totally agree ...... we doh have any kina passion towards sports ....... the only exception is semifinals and up in t-20, its a joke the HSC has not been filled forever, the las time it was full was 06 qualifying and that was only after we beat Guatemala. If our national team cant sell out a stadium wat chance does a club side have ? Everything football related hadda change in TNT
It wouldn't change just so though and it probably not gonna change because is the mentality of the people not to back their country unless they winning or close to qualifying for a competition or something. Thats the harsh reality of TNT my friend

The truth is that we should be as critical of these players performance in this competition as possible and these ratings don't seem harsh enough

11
by the way...i only read my express so far...do you know there is no mention of this match ???

done bad it not on TV...not even a mention...nah man

What really going on with this country boy? This rell poor, no lie
They hadda be better than that, at least give the boys a little national support na man

in spite of this, the team came back from being annihilated by a very good Mexico team, to come from a goal down and get a point against Panama. Shows heart and determination in my book and still puts them in the running for a shot in the semis with a win over Honduras. A tall task no doubt, but what it is Bennie say again? "...In football 2 and 2 is almost never 4, its most of the time 3 or 5...".

Well not really. Panama is d side we suppposed to beat. That is like a side in La Liga taking & from Messi and Co. U expect that. Yeah it was bad, but we expect licks. Is do other sides besides Real and Barca who we supposed to beat regardless.
No heart and determination required for that.
Yes, but, they boys could have easily faded out after conceding to Panama, and come out with nothing. Point I was trying to make is that they fought back to get a point...have to give some credit for that regardless of the opposition quality.

Definately have to give credit where credit is deserved and the boys fought for the point and hopefully they can fight hard enough for us to get that win tomorrow.

Well lets hope things don't work out then with USA

28
We said King DEES - Well said. They have been around for some time and they have been exposed to bigger teams in the PanAmerican Tournament. So it is a question of belief. You have to believe for the miracle to happen. Blood , sweat and  Passion and they can Qualify. They need that swagger like Viv Richards- Ato Boldon_ Hasley Crawford- Brian lara and Russel Latapy. - Nobody could beat we attitude. It is all in the mind

I agree about the attitude aspect of it, I feel if we go in with the right mind set then we could definately cause some havok but it has a lot to do with the personnel too and I feeling good about this squad. Big up to DeSilva
