That is wild. A kid representing his country at an elite competition refuses to eat anything other than bread or butter? What a waste of money and resources spent on him. He has no future in the game.

Kids in some other Concacaf countries have been in professional environments with nutritionists for a few years by the time they are 17.

Dayne St Clair started the last game for MNUFC. He's biracial. Definitely not a race thing against Greg.

Canadians premier league fan here.

Garcia has been the best striker during this tournament.

The timing of his runs has been excellent, along with his pace and finishing.

I think he has shown he should get a chance at a higher level. He's been outstanding.

Kareem was a very poor CB with Edmonton initially. However, he's played really well since being moved to LB. He doesn't get beat 1v1 and can be useful on set plays.

I'm an FC Edmonton supporter. Karem Moses played CB at the start of the year and was prone to making quite a few mistakes. I didn't rate him. He's moved to left back over the last 5 games or so and has been impressive. He can really use his athleticism there. He's cut out the mistakes too.

I feel sorry for the players and staff after reading about the lack of support from your F.A. As a Canadian supporter, maybe I won't complain as much about our program, as things could always be more challenging in some areas.

Good luck.

Panama is definitely a team to contend with going forward. Their youth program is stellar too. More competition for CONCACAF which is a good thing for the region.

Most of the Canadian national team players are playing in professional environments with strong coaching starting from the age of 12-13 now. T&T needs to find a way to emulate such environments in order to keep up. It's the simple explanation why Canada outclassed T&T in today's game and 2 years ago when they met as compared to T&T's success previous to that.

I really feel for you guys. Your federation is in shambles. When I get down about being a Canadian supporter, I know it could always be worse. I hope T&T finds a way to get on it's feet in the future. How about a return for SH as a TD or coach? He's good as making use of limited resources.

Antigua and USA all tied up 1-1 with 85 mins left.  :rotfl:
Ah guess the laugh is on me.   :frustrated:

Business as usual...
Listen guy, it takes ah big man to admit guilt, i will never stay here and say that the US is ah sh!t team, on the contrary, i will always give props to them for their approach to the game and the level of heart and endurance they have is outstanding, as a matter of fact, they are the best team in concacaf as far as work ethic go, and yes, the USMNT is ah BIG BIG team,

but i can't help but hate them for their unmitigated gall to think that they could just condescend on the rest of cancacaf, and think that they can run neck and neck with the rest of the world super powers of football! yes donovan is real good, and so is dempsey, and you also had some fantastic players over the yrs, fellas like reyna, mc bride, koby jones, KC keller, johnathan specter and harks just to name ah few.

these players as with most US players are technically strong and could hold their own, but with all that, the only reason yuhs guys are better than lets say, a jamaica or a panama is bc these countries don't have infrastructure like mexico to develop their game, but give it time, i predict in the very near future the US would be catching hell to qualify just like argentina does in comebol.

did you see how they catch hell to beat antigua barbuda? expect more of the same in the future. enjoy the ride for now.

What gives you the idea that other countries are catching up to the u.s.a? The only country I can see (outside of the minnows) that has gotten a lot better is Panama. The U.S.A has played a few bad games, so what? It happens. Every other team except Panama and Mexico aren't improving. The MLS clubs are now only starting to turn out decent graduates. Who isn't to say their team won't get better in the future?

Apologies if there was anything on this board regarding the u20 matches with Canada. I looked but didn't see anything.

Canada announces m20 camp

Posted on 4 September 2012 in Men's U-20 Team

Canada's men's U-20 team has selected a 20-player roster for an eight-day camp with international matches against Trinidad and Tobago. The Canadian team will train in Florida, USA where it will meet its CONCACAF rival for a pair of matches on 9 and 11 September 2012. The eight-day camp runs 5-12 September.

This marks coach Dasovic's second project for 1993-born players, with an eye towards next year's biennial CONCACAF & FIFA competitions. Canada will compete in the 2013 CONCACAF Men's Under-20 Championship from 18 February to 3 March in Mexico. Four teams from the 12-team tournament will qualify for the FIFA U-20 World Cup Turkey 2013.

In between matches against Trinidad and Tobago, Canada is scheduled to have six training sessions during the course of the camp.

Canada 0 Honduras 0. Canada will be disappointed with dropping two points. They had several open headers late from set pieces that they should have scored on.
