Some other smaller Caribbean nations have had full welcome home events for gold medal winners at the Pan Am Games and the Commonwealth Games.   eg. Shaune and Brett Fraser  (British Virgin Islands), Levern Spencer (St. Lucia).  In the Castro era, Cuba would usually honor all their Pan Am Games winners at one big event as well.

Of course, I realize that other nations don't get too excited about these competitions.  I am just trying to get a good list of events that occurred so I can research them further.

I know that welcome home celebration / motorcade was held on 8-13-2012 for Keshorn Walcott's gold medal.  There were also some events for Walcott's return in Sept. 2016 from the Rio Olympics.

I believe there was a big event for Hasely Crawford in 1976.  Would someone know the date of that?

I know there were celebrations for Bolden but have no information on when they occurred.

Did any of the others get motorcades or big receptions?

I'd appreciate any info folks might have to offer.  I'll be throwing similar questions on other boards related to those sports.
