Maturana prefers to play overseas.
By: Nigel Simon (Guardian)
??????????

I was trying to find where in Nigel Simon's article that Manturana said, or even indicated that he prefered to play overseas.
It takes a coach with very little brains and plenty plenty balls to tell ah football crazy country like T&T, that he prefer to take away we home support from we warriors. I really don't see Manturana walking around with no big balls, as for brains if he have what it takes, he will get his translator to vigorously disclaim this headline. Seems like jack paying Nigel too or what.

If Sunderland harbored any such concerns then they simply could have written disincentives into the contract for him returning to international football... or even better, have a cancellation clause in place conditioned on his return to international duty.  So it's either they considered the possibility and decided it was worth the risk... or they failed to consider it and didn't do their due diligence, in which case it's their ass to catch.

Point well taken Bake N Shark, but use yuh experience and tell me if it come to a serious confrontation who will be the looser. Remember York will be fighting hard for a regular spot on that team, what if kean decides he can't handle both club and country and he just leave York off the team. Also remember we can't possibly put everything on a contract, and LOYALTY IS A TWO WAY STREET. give me yuh views on this without cussing meh

One has to wonder If Sunderland knew Dwighty still had ambitions of playing international football, would they be willing to give him this new contract. Remember folks  when you spending your money you need to know what you are paying for, At his age is it true that Dwight would not be as effective playing for Sunderland, if he chose get involve in a rigorous WCQ program

With 2006 World Cup team members Cyd Gray, wearing the armband on the evening, and Densill Theobald back in the starting team after a lengthy lay off

I wonder if Theobald was supposed to captain but he hand the armband to Gray?

I wonder what was the wisdom behind giving Cyd Gray the arm band, seeing that it was not certain how long he would stay on the pitch, due to the fact he is returning from injury, and the fact that Theobald has captain the side with credit in the past. They are both making their return to the team, anyway.

Hmmmmm!

And Sam was saying Jamaica had the easiest group. Just like the Reggae Boyz.

I think both T&T and Ja have one team they should beat. We beat up on El Salvador, and allyuh should be able to show off on Puerto Rico, after that is back to school as usuall

Palos i'm just being sacastic when i say the things i said because of what i read on here every day, people on here just change their storys to justify their means,i know and understand what you are saying i'm in this game long time, evrybody have their views and uptions and i respect that,i don't go overboard and tell them they talking shyt i just leave them to feel how they want to feel,so far you all will realize i form and have my own opinions i just try to share them with who ever wants to listen/read,it seems to me sometimes like this site is trying to get rid of people who have something different to say or don't go along with what the forum likes.
like sometimes we tend to forget the purpose of a forum. We must be reminded that this forum is a place to give an opinion. It seems to me, some people want to give their opinion and at the same time, influence everyone elses opinion. If we want this forum to keep growing and keep being a success, we must stop the forum policing, and forum bullying we see here on a daily basis. I mean who am I, to tell a man he talking dotishness, just because he choose to go a different route to me.
Especially knowing that I also have the option not to respond to his post.
If we have a forum with everybody giving and sharing the same views, we might as well spend our time watching TV. In school our teacher use to tell us that there is no such thing as a stupid question. I believe once a person give his opinion in an ethical and respectful way, they should not be subjected to abuse.

Yuh mean de same Jabloteh dat does pull dey players from training with de national squad because of club commitments???
You fuh real?

Yes Mose dat is the same Jabloteh. Don't forget clubs are entitle to have club commitments, and take them very serious. If TTFF can't get they act together everybody else must grind to a standstill or move at the slow-stop pace of the TTFF. At the end of the day Jabloteh is by far the most successful and organized club in T&T, with plenty home grown talant to booth. maybe that is because they very serious about they club commitments. Mose I say pick the best of the lot

Great great article.

Have me wondering when T&T would finally get a coach so we can really start this journey. Lets stop fooling ourselves Manturana is not taking us anywhere. Manturana is a good coach. We need much more than that. We need a wise old fox, with no fear of loosing a coaching job. We need a preacher, to preach his footbal doctrin throughout T&T and make us all believers. We need nerves of steel, someone brave enough to watch a god like Latas, and tell him "you on the bench today" without fear of repercusion. We need a man who could look at a reporter fix in he eyes, and tell him he asking a stupid question, without putting water in his mouth or using an interpreter. A man who will hire his own assistant, his own scouts, his own team. Then and only then, we, the Soca warriors, will have the slightest of chances to once again say with pride  "WE REACH"

Is only in T&T, you could have a situation where petty politics and ah- soleness, could prevent a small country with limited options from doing what ever it takes to get they absolute best players selected, for WCQ football.
When them forign team refuse to send their players, for what ever reason, we does have to humble, but Jabloteh is local so that is another story.

With all the shit that going down. Do we really deserve a spot in that 2010 finals??????????????????????????????????????????

Guaranteed the football eh go be as serious as in Australia.
P.S Ah hear the 'brushing' good in Tobago.

AB Trini, Ah just read Tobago United draw with Jabloteh 3-3, like them boys getting serious
but yeah the brushing was always nice in Bago, once you avoid the left hand dumplin

Allyuh by the way, watch what allyuh saying about footballers fitness.
Them Bermudians want tuh suit, because some Trini writers say that most of the Bermudian football team, was looking more like regular all fours players

I'm 36, there's no secret there. I'm coming to the end of my career, I'm looking for something with a bit more flavour - in terms of lifestyle, the weather, people and food. Sydney fits that bill.''

To me it sounds like Dwight looking for a place to start he retirement in style, not to play any kind ah serious football

Anybody ever give a though to what TERRY FENWICK could do with a TRINIDAD team. At least nobody wouldn't have to tell him who to pick
