and that they should play for the pride of the country
and should not get anything
football players earn a lot of money compared to normal jobs.

this is the other side

BUT how can you complain if you are rewarded?
and yes,maybe the materialman does not get anything?
so what!
should the girlfriend of dwight yorke get money?
should his mother get money?
no off course not
but that is apparently the way the people think

be happy to be at the worldcup

isnt it great that the new staff gets 4 years to build up a great topsport environment?

wim rijsbergen as i know him starts at the base,and that is the youth
and build up from there.
(remember wim is a more defensive coach than beenhakker)
so the highlites are gonna be on the defense.
and from there build again to the attack.

dont expect attractive play
expect results

beenhakker is coming for the nuances
and he is the creative mind

i expect a very very competetive warrior team the oncoming 4 years.!

and a complete different mindset
from a losing team to a winning team

what are his coaching qualities?
what has he achived as a coach ?

i like yorke very much
but coaching is something different than player

maybe he can look at wim and leo for 4 years and then step in

i am very happy to know that the continuety is safe right now!
the oncoming four years are gonna be great!
imagine the traininggames!
everybody wants to play against t&t
there is a very professional staff
calling wim rijsbergen a understudy is a very strange,because he is a very experienced coach.
and in combination with the mean been its great
this assures t&t for 4 years of pure football
no side effects

NOW T&T ARE GONNA MAKE GREAT LEAPS FORWARDS

jamaica is put behind a long way

i am really happy now

and proud that t&t has taken these coaches for another 4 year walk to the next worldcup

IMAGINE WHAT COULD HAPPEN!

under 20 and under 21 wc matches are very heavy matches
t&t better start training now if they want to make it
the other countries never stopped training so t&t are behind allready.

and that i think is the difference between top countries and the rest
the top countries have a continues proces of youth developement.
and not a short term next wc dream.

a wc should not be a dream but a logical result from hard working.

i dont think mister adu is good enough for a european topteam.
He might go to chelsea,right.
chelsea has got 34 forwards ,dont think ady can make the difference
maybe a team in belgium or something will suit him for start
if he survives that then there might be a chance he can make it to the big guys.
not many usa  players can make it abroad

2008 european championship

van basten told  before the worldcup that he wants to prepare this team for 2008, he did t even had to qualifie for this wc,told the boss of the dutch football ass. knvb.(he said it when he appointed v basten,not now)

off course its too bad that they are exit from the wc
but the dutch themselves allso saw that this is not a topteam right now.
we´ll see in 2008!

I think there is a big chance that The Been might stay at t&t
He told dutch tv he will make a decision within 3 days

so we will hear something soon

the world cup is becoming a media circus
the football is not the most important
the sponsors(the money is the most important)
look at the referees
look at the ball
look at the fields (they are way too dry,holland complained several times,but they were denied to spray the field),it was very surpising that when germany played the spraysystems were working and they sprayed the field.
when the field is wet the ball does not stick to the foot,as we have seen several times
(the times that you thought....why does he fall?)
so its strange strange strange

for real football it seems that you have to watch the countries competition.

the worldcup is a way to make money,not to show good football.

i think the problem that the usa have is that they dont have a football,sorry,soccer ,history.
and they are trying to make that up fast
but it is not that easy
and the usa is used to get what they want
not this time
you can not allways be the best
and than they have their mentality against them
a winnersmentality
and its difficult to have a winnermentality when you loose

but that is more a problem of the whole team
when they reach the opponents goal area its like something stops them
nobody gives a nice cross(they do ,but not enough i think)
but today its time to show how its done
this is the game where t&t can show they can do more than just defend
time for goals
